Even Japanese people can't understand even 10% of the meaning of the lyrics, so if they were translated into English, the sentences would be even more incomprehensible...That's the case with most Vocaloid songs. It is difficult for humans to understand because it contains a large number of words that are not commonly used.
I'm impressed how textured her vocal. The range of her voice so wide! Ado is an amazing and beautiful artist. and yes her singing is a real roller coaster and voice acting as well ) I freaking love it so much
Ado is so great at pushing her vocal boundaries but controlling it. She has some of the most freedom but it isn't unpleasantly choatic which i think is a thin line of vocals
i never knew how to describe that very specific guitar sound that you hear so often in jrock so THANK YOU for that aside !! this is one of my favorite vocaloid songs of all time and im so delighted by ado's rock arrangement for it
Both the chorus guitar and that little lick you did to explain amps to those unaware reminded me of "Dance Gavin Dance", the tone and even the style of the lick. Honestly, musically they are one of those incredibly rare bands, especially style-wise. Also, for those that have FL Studio, you can use Gross Beat with a little bit of automation to pull of some of those chopped up sounds. Famously, Daft Punk used 2 Gross Beat presents on "Derezzed" from the Tron Legacy soundtrack, a lot of people were talking about it back then. For some reference, I was a huge metalhead in the mid-late 2000s, got into Dubstep via Skrillex in 2011 (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites changed the music world, if anyone disagrees I'll school them hard.), and from there I branched out into every genre which eventually led me back home to Anime OPs and eventually the JP music scene as a whole when I got back into watching Anime subbed (Found a lot of artists that way, stuff that never came to the states. I spent around 7-8 years producing music, so I know my way around a DAW (I was a Native Instruments buff, I still own a Maschine Jam, and the OG Novation Launchpad, I used both FL and Ableton.). Spending that time learning about music allowed me to appreciate music so much more and notice a lot of the details that tend to be lost on most people. But year, that was a quick thought. I'd recommend "Fleeting Lullaby", also by Ado, from the One Piece Film RED soundtrack. It was produced by FAKETYPE., a duo I've been wanting to do a deep dive on their stuff for a long while now. It has a fair bit in common with Show as TOPHAMHAT-KYO (one half of FAKETYPE.) was involved in both tracks. If you check out his music you'll understand the influence he had on not only Ado (there's a tweet I'll mention later if you check out Fleeting Lullaby, it's a dry take of the song by Ado, one of the faster parts slowed down), but also the lyrical and vocal flow of both tracks.
Watched a couple of your videos and they're great. I love your explanations of music theory! I definitely recommend reacting to Ado's song "Tot Musica" or really anything from her One Piece Film Red album!!
I really like how you break things down and gives examples, helps people who doesn't know that much about the topic to understand. However I feel like it'd be a good viewing experience to first just watch your pure reaction to the things as it plays out (on one run without pausing, with just voice over reactions and not breaking things down) before going into the breakdowns and playing just clips on where you want to talk about.
Hey.. I'm not sure what exactly you know about Ado but did you know she plays Uta in One Piece Film Red movie? So I think she definitely adds that acting thing when she's singing her songs and she's soo great doing it. One of my favorite songs from that movie is Tot Music, and it's presisely because I love her acting, she sounds angry and pissed off.
You should try listening to Rokudenashi or isekaijoucho. Ambiguous and Pandora call are pretty good songs (and fade to white is another pretty good song) They both got great voices
The lyrics don't mean much of anything to me even though I'm a Japanese speaker, but Ado's vocal performance seems to rise above that. Who's Avdala anyway?
It would be impressive if you could break down ado's "ashite ashite achite" because the original vocoloide artist music teacher taught him music theorie made music boring so his music is stuctured but disorganized
Really surprised by your precise pronunciation. Ado’s cover is great but is not over my expectation, the best cover of this song in my heart is still SymaG’s cover.
I love when people actually do their homework on the song before reviewing it, thanks for being so thorough!
if you like this type of style of music reactions where they pause often and actually analyze then you would prob also like DrumRollTony Reacts
My recommetdations are Ado's
Dignity,
Unravel live - is absolutely insane and beautiful.
Show
godish
crime and punishment
I also like "Love ka?" as a vocal technique.
2nd all of these
Approved 🙌
Valid
Her Dignity live is also better than the studio imo (because of her whistle note in live). Unfortunately, there is no official video for it

The observations you make about the song really helps me appreciate the song more
thank you for doing your research into the original!! a lot of people don’t credit the original producers of vocaloid songs properly.
Ado is so great at pushing her vocal boundaries but controlling it. She has some of the most freedom but it isn't unpleasantly choatic which i think is a thin line of vocals
Wonderlands X Showtime mentioned. Awesome to hear that it was mentioned I'm the covers for those song
I'd love for you to analyze Ado's song "Show." And after that, Crime and Punishment.
The energy in their music is like a sonic hurricane that engulfs you. I'm now eagerly waiting for your reaction to October Ends ' new song!

2:34 dean once again playing the sickest guitar riff youve ever heard and not expecting us to notice fr
Listening to Ado's rock song always give me an extreme powerful vibe like It makes me want to go ran for 100+ miles Lol.

You should cover unravel -Ado (live) it's a work of art
the vocal is so beautiful

You should react to Usseewa, it’s one of her best songs
PLEASE REACT TO ADO - SHOW!!!!! YOU WOULD LOVE IT!!!
You should check Aldo’s Show and Crime and Punishment.
You should try listening to Rokudenashi or isekaijoucho. Ambiguous and Pandora call are pretty good songs (and fade to white is another pretty good song)
They both got great voices
I actually thought this was an original Ado song 😂
Who’s here after seeing that thumbnail try to get into the building 🙋
You should review the Blend S opening song. It’s fire to be honest
Yet another W reaction
how about meychan's version? or his panda hero or matryoshka?
ado - crime and punishment pls!!
Langston solver, that's all.
The lyrics don't mean much of anything to me even though I'm a Japanese speaker, but Ado's vocal performance seems to rise above that. Who's Avdala anyway?
I have noticed things related to Mahabharata, an Indian epic in the lyrics.
Did you see King Gnu's special? That's amazing too.

i spent the first few months of lockdown learning hiragana and then getting completely overwhelmed and giving up
Dude if you listem to Tot musica from ado, you're gonna loose your mind. No one can expect that. lol
DO YOASOBI NEW SONG day 1 of asking
