Chip Genius is telling me that my Controller Part Number is Unknown, and also won't tell me the controller vendor. My device ID is "VID = AAAA PID = 8816" if that helps any. Know what I should do next?

open cmd and type in "diskpart" when another box pops up type "list disk" find your 2tb drive then select the drive number like this "select disk 3" look at your drive number don't type 3 its just an example. Then afterward type this (warning this will wipe data) type "clean" it will clear all partitions, then type "convert GPT". MBR has a limitation to only 2tb while GPT supports up to 256tb. After it says "DiskPart successfully converted the selected disk to GPT format". Type "create partition primary" and windows will ask you to format, choose NTFS; if you want to do it in the same window type "format fs=ntfs quick". you may have to go to your start menu and type "create and format hard disk partitions" to expand the volume because sometimes there is unallocated space or you can go in there to right-click the partition of your drive and select a drive letter if it does not have one. There you can also name the drive if you so wish.

works perfectly. If you can't see your controller vendor type to flashdrive-repair.com, try to search it on google and click download for the specified controller part number. For ex: Controller Vendor: FirstChip, you must go to www.usbdev.ru/files/firstchip/fc1179mptools/ and download the tool.

Mine keeps saying “too many bad block bad block error”....My controller part number is AU6989SN-GTD so i used Alcor U2 MP v20.09.16.00, v20.07.17.00, v19.07.03.00, v18.05.29, v18.09.07.02, v18.09.07.00 and it still kept on saying the same thing “too many bad block” ......what does it mean? Can it be solved?
