Geezuz , I had to Google everything just to make sure and I can tell you that my heart is broken this morning, I know that he passed a few months back but finding this out this morning has just really devastated me., I really love this RUclips channel and I always thought he was a great cook, May he rest easy and make the greatest meals in heaven for everyone to enjoy. And with that I say cheers to a great man, a great channel and a great family. Till next time mr Jack
I remember watching Jack’s 5 minute chili recipe to impress a girl I had started dating a couple years back. We have been together for 6 years now and I still use his exact recipe. I just want to say thank you Jack for motivating me and finding a love for cooking. You will truly be missed. I’ll always be Cooking with the Blues!
R.i.p. jack you were a true inspiration you will be missed but not forgotten 💔 definitely making these tonight everything you've shown us has always been a hit on the dinner table thanks for everything
Dear Kisha and Daddy Jack Family, Thank you for the Sunday Morning share of wonderful cooking, Axel, chuckles with family and the smooth and easy teachings of Daddy Jack. He keeps things squared away in the kitchen and can juggle things with grace. I am thankful for y’all’s love in sharing. Thank you so very much!
I was happy to see the notification but must admit this was difficult to watch through tears. Sincere best wishes to his family, friends, loved ones and countless fans around the world. 💔
I thought this was gonna be someone in the family continuing his legacy, but I thank you for this on my feed, a legend who will be celebrated for a long time!
R.I.P. Daddy Jack...YOU WILL FOREVER BE LOVED & MISSED here in Mobile Alabama. I learned so much over the years from watching Daddy Jack's cooking videos & trying to make his dishes & following his recipes. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE RUclips CHEF!!! Much love from Mobile Alabama.
A real chef, you remind me of my father. A true legend, you will be missed, may your soul live on through your loved ones, sending them love as well. "peace"
I was just telling my wife about Jack today... I was thinking I should give a call, as I live in Turkey and wanted to let him know how much I love his cooking and style... just make good food. .use what you have adapt and overcome... now I see he passed and am terribly sad. God bless him and give his family peace and comfort. He will be missed.... rest in peace Jack.
I miss him so much. Thank you to his family who keep his memory alive with these videos. I got my Classic Wusthof 16cm knife like his because he taught me how to chop veges. 💗
He really comes across as a genuine, wonderful guy with lots of cooking knowledge that everyone really loves. Thank you for preserving his memory in these YT videos for people to enjoy for years and years. Best to his friends and family.
Born and raised in MA. Have lived in SoCal for 30 years now… after finding this channel a few years ago, I enjoyed the recipes and made a number of them. Jack was as New England as you can get, really made me miss home. I wanted to visit the restaurant on my next trip home I didn’t get the chance due to the pandemic. Wonderful man, enjoyed all the videos, his passion for family and community was incredible. Bittersweet watching this one. But, I’ll make those meatballs!
I've only learned of Daddy Jack's passing today. 😢 My heartfelt condolences go out to his family for their huge loss. Jack was one of those rare people who, even though I'd never met the man, I felt like I somehow knew him my entire life. He was part of the family. When Covid started, I would watch his cooking videos on RUclips for hours and days on end. He helped me to appreciate the belief that anyone can simply get in the kitchen and cook. You just need to get in there and practice at it. He was truly one of a kind. His legacy will live on indefinitely. Love and miss you Big Daddy!
I love him, God bless him. Watching him put me in a good mood, he really was a great guy (not that I had the pleasure to meet him, but just from watching his videos). Thank you for sharing this.
We are missing and will continue to miss Chaplin's Classics. Our hearts go out to those who loved and will forever miss this talented and skilled man with such a passion for feeding the world with love. You were blessed to have him in your life as I am sure you know.
Very sorry to hear about Daddy Jack's passing. We enjoyed him from afar but always wanted to meet him in one of his restaurants. He seemed like the most genuine guy. :( I'm grateful for the cooking tips I've picked up over the 2 years of watching. I buy the "big" AC cans and cut my onions differently now. RIP
Big Jack was a true legend, I am crying as I type this and will never forget everything I have learned from this wonderful man. Condolences to his family and RIP Jack...
Same with the majority of comments - I too miss Jack very much - I think of him often. My thoughts and prayers to the family who no doubt still are missing him. His delicious recipes and cooking tips have helped me so much. Thank you for this upload - made my Sunday awesome, cheers
Going to make these meatballs tonight, in memory of Daddy Jacks. I bought the same pans he uses in the restaurant so I can copy the recipes….. the best that I can. Jack will always be my favorite chef.

My sincerest and warmest of condolences to his entire family. God bless you all
Very, very sorry to hear about Daddy Jack. He and I shared three things in common, a love of food and music and a large physique. In short, he was a pal I never met who came into my home weekly and inspired and taught me how to be more creative in the kitchen. I'll think of him each time I use one of his recipes, which is often. RIP Daddy Jack. With love from your friend in Italy who you helped but never met.

This guy legit was a bright sun in my day through Covid. Probably like you, I’m just a person who was truly touched by Jack’s life, passion, and energy. I work with adults and kids struggling through their own hardships and Jack was just one of those people who recharged me with his zest for life in ways that put a spring in my step when I went up to bat for others. I’m so thankful for the memories of this awesome human being this holiday. Much love to Jack and everyone who gathered around this vids and enjoyed being a part of what Jack loved so much.
