I spent many days in New London working on communications on the roof of the Mohecian Hotel. I packed my lunch and enjoyed the many times I saw a sub going by. I regret not knowing that Jacks was just down the street. Sorry I missed you Jack, but haven’t missed many of your videos. RIP Jack, you are a national treasure…..
I've been watching Daddy Jack's videos for months because he is a fine cook. He does so many things so well. Far more important though is that Jack is a fine human being. His decency and integrity always shines through. I know I can't be the only one that notices. You have a lot of admirers out here, Jack.
Same here. Surprised one of those "cross contamination" guys hasn't commented yet. He has another channel called cooking with the blues that has newer videos.
You must not be a real cook.... he seems like a nice guy and all but he's a pretty sloppy cook and makes many, even basic food safety, mistakes. Some you can argue away but touching raw meat then touching seeming everything else in the kitchen in every video I've seen cannot be argued away.
@@Giggiyygoo you say cross contamination like it's fake... must not be an actual cook either because even beyond just that he's a sloppy cook who makes basic mistakes.
I only NOW (because of a comment) learned he passed away in 2021. 🤦♂️😣 I’m sure we were ALL concerned about his health during all these great videos. I know my buddy & I were. I feel AWFUL, and my heart goes out to his family & buddies. 🙏
Love Greek food and this guy was just the most wonderful God given talent and all around great guy and is missed big time. RIP Chef. Glad you left all of us these recipes.
Amazing! The story about your friend Joe was so nice, thanks for sharing that. Thanks for this one! Your food and videos are great, I appreciate all your team's hard work.
What a joy watching Jack. I cook as many of his recipes as possible. My wife yells at me “you don’t measure nothing how can you do that?” I say the captain never does so I don’t either. Haven’t had one complaint about the food!! Thanks Jack. RIP.
Sir, you are not only a great Chef, but more important a decent human being. Nothing better than Thanks the ones that blindly believe on us, and always remember where we come from. You have a lots of fans on this channel. Keep doing what you do best, cook and teach. God will be bless you all the way. Thank you.

I watch a lot of YT cooking videos but Daddy Jack's is the only channel where during every video my mouth waters. What a wonderful chef. Such a legacy he has left us.
Jack once again you are the man. Love every video. My wife now knows you as my "buddy" from youtube showed me this recipe. I wish you all the success with Chaplin's.
OMG this recipe combining the moussaka and pastitsio what super idea. How can anyone resist this dish. Great job chef looks so delish I wish I were there right now.
Pasticio..penne and meat sauce. Mousaka no potatoes: eggplant Temper some egg yolks and add to the sauce: it’ll make a beautiful “baked” topping. Nutmeg no cinnamon. Myzithera for the cheese and ouzo for the alcohol
a. Love how casual his cooking style is. Just tosses everything (including garlic) into saute' pan at once. b. Was this the invention of "mashup"? c. That's not Greek.

Never trust a skinny chef, not saying this food ain't good, but if the chef is big, you know the food is REAL GOOD.
Wonderful story Jack. Your kindness is legendary
