We did a DURAMAX 3L fuel mileage TEST. 1500 produced so many laps with 1/8 tank!

We knew the Duramax 3L diesel got really good fuel milage, but this blew our minds. We took it out to Kern County Raceway Park, in Bakersfield, California to see how many laps we could do with 1/8 tank and 1/4 tank. The results were so much more than what we expected, we couldn't even do the 1/4 test. I took the Yukon down to San Diego and used it for 3 days and came back with a full tank. They are outperforming the 6.2 V8. The 3L Duramax are trending big time in the truck world.
