    Hi there,
    Do you recommend using a migration agent or doing the application yourself?
    Also, roughly how much (AUD) does a Migration agent cost?

    • @HappyIrish
      @HappyIrish  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, thanks for your comment.
      I’d personally suggest using a registered migration agent for complex relationship cases but if you and your partner have never been married and have genuine ongoing relationship, you can save lots of money if you apply on your own however partner visas are expensive, a refusal can happen and if you have a lawyer on your side they will know what to do should you get a refusal. I cant give you a rough cost as I’ve lodged mine 7 years ago the cost was different then…

      Usually, but now with travel restrictions they don't grant tourist visa. You need a travel exemption. If I were you, I would apply from outside Australia asap, then eventually try to get here. Now They amended the law according to which if you applied from offshore and you are onshore you have to leave the country. Good luck

      If you have applied for a fiance visa or partner's visa offshore, your partner must be outside Australia. Your partner can visit on a tourist visa but they can't be granted an approval whilst here on a tourist visa. Not sure what you meant with the question but I'd suggest researching bout your partner's visa conditions, good luck! 🤞

      Hi there, this was the advice we got from our registered migration agent, i'd highly suggest basing your research from the Home Affairs website. They've listed their the set of documents you can provide to them to prove your relationship is continuing and genuine. There might be another type of partner visa that you can apply for your circumstances, speak to a Registered Migration Agent too if you can find one locally. They are the best party that can guide you through the entire process.

    May question din po ako, I was able to get approved for Tourist Visa 1yr multiple entry, 3mos max stay. Question ko po, if I lodged for partner visa onshore, when will my bridging visa take effect? Is it in 3mos? or 1year?

    • @HappyIrish
      @HappyIrish  Год назад

      Salamat po. Magtake effect ang bridging visa sa last day ng tourist visa mo on that specific entry say, every entry is good for 3 months. The bridging visa takes effect after 3 months pero expired na din yung remaining entries mo for tourist visa malilipat na sya into partner visa i hope that make sense.
