Hi, when do they asked for the documents, like my birth certificate and police clearance? After getting my 309 and while applying for 100?
So is the relationship geniuses essay part of the application within the online form or is it a separate document that is to be uploaded again? Because in proving the relationship geniuses section of the application I believe it covers that question about writing a summary of the relationship.
I haven't started filling out the sponsor application yet so I have no idea about that . Please advise..
Is it mandatory to create a separate immi account or husband's immi account can be used to submit the application?

Thank you for a greay video! I and my boyfriend are planning to apply for the offshore partner visa right after we get officially married, but will conduct all the celebrations after since im leaving to Australia soon and we want to lodge an application as soon as possible. Could that be taken poorly by the immigration department (that we got married right before applying and not having any weddings photos yet etc.?)
Also, we live in his parents house and don't pay bills together, he pays the electricity/water bills that are adressed to his parents names and i sometimes buy food. In worried that this is not enough evidence that we split up the finances. We do have one savings account together though. Do you think that's enough, or should we try to change soemthing to our names for the evidence? Thabk you in advance!

Firstly, this was tremendously helpful video and I appreciate you making it.
Like many others, I plan to apply for the 300/100 partnership visa. I've already applied for my 600 class tourist visa (12 months) in preparation for my move to Melbourne. Very similarly I'm worried about having to leave and return multiple times while waiting for 300/100 class to be approved. I question weather its wise to apply for the partnership visa while awaiting the 600 class visas approval. I've since recommended for my partner to apply for the sponsorship portion of the 300/100 class visa (due to recent changes in Feb) so we can get the ball rolling.
- As far as the 600 class application: Should I include more than just my passport info as an uploaded document? If so, what would you recommend?
(Was considering bank statements for financial security etc).
- Do you think it's wise to move my life to Melbourne on a 600 class visa while waiting for 300/100? My partner would be able to support me during this time, seeing as I cant work.

You can apply for subclass 600, family sponsored visa and give them the compelling reason that you want to stay with your partner because both your mental health is being affected by staying apart. This will definitely help you in getting the Visa approved. Please do not forget to mention that you have been waiting for so many months to get your 309 Visa approved.

You can check the current processing time online on the immigration website, it changes quite frequently.
And I would advise apply tourist visa before 309, but I am not a MARA agent so not sure about it.

I am applying for my partner visa 309/100 there is one question in the sponsor application Give details of all countries resided in for a period of 12 months in total, in the past 10 years since turning 16. The period of time spent in a country may be non-consecutive, but must still be included if it is 12 months or over in total? You can avoid the 8503 condition if your wife applies for visitor visa subclass 600 tourist stream and not sponsored family stream.

Just had a quick question if you could answer or shed some light on: I have a SC189 (PR) and want to sponser my wife for the 309/100 visa. We are currently in Nepal (our country of citizenship) and we do not plan on moving back to Australia before both of us are eligible to so. So, I am planning on staying back until my wife is granted the 309 visa and can travel with me to Australia. In this case, how would we show our financial documents, as I do not have a current Australian income source. Do you think my payslips from when I was working and living in Australia (a few months ago) would be sufficient?

It's 8 years processing times now. They will email you when to do the medical and submit a police report. Than they used to process it all within 2 years. Now it's 8 years. 2031 when your visa will be finalised. Good luck

Hello, thank you for this helpful video. We are going through the partner visa application process now for my wife. Can I ask did you have a medical examination before applying for the visa or did the government request you to get one after you had applied?
Before submitting 309 I got my medical examination done
I didn't provide my Medical before they requested me for one. Because it is available for 1 year then after 1 year it expires and you have to redo another one and pay again so my advice is that you provide the BUPA medical only when they contact you for it. They will call you and ask you for it then you can provide it once they ask not before otherwise you will have to pay around 500 bucks for nothing. I applied for my visa in 2018 after my 1 year Working holiday expired in 2017 and they asked for Medical in 2021.
Upload everything required for the application when you submit your application except Medical/BUPA.
Believe me if you are on a tight budget it's the best you can do. I applied for Partner Visa in 2018 and got granted in September 2021...4 months after they requested my BUPA examination. So best you can do is wait until they call to request your medicals. Also,they will call on an "Unknown number" or "Masked number" always pick up whenever you recieve one. Could be them.

Who should write which statement?
There are so many documents to write. I am planning on applying for this visa by myself :) Hopefully, I will get it right. Have gathered the evidence.
Just wanted to check what statements should the sponsor write and what statements should the applicant write? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you
The statement needs to be written by both you and the sponsor separately and attach them to your application. Right one statement each describing how you met, how your relationship developed, how do you see your future together, what are your future plans etc. Along with this attach other supporting documents such as joint invitations to social events, photographs, trips together, any receipts that has both your names, your travel tickets together, your wedding invitation card, pictures with friends and family, your marriage certificate etc, and that should be enough.

Yes, I arrived on tourist visa and applied for 820/801 the same day. I have to pre- warn you: tourist visa is 3 months valid, after 3 months the bridging visa will be active, which usually you have full rights to work 😉
Partner 309 offshore partner visa is now 8 years processing time now instead of the 2 years processing times as previous stated and that's just for the temporary subclass not subclass 100 permanent
Please stop spreading wrong information, the median time period is approximately 10 months as stared on the official immigration website.

-which one would be more suitable? 600 Tourist stream- or 600 family stream.
-how do u satisfy genuine visitor condition and returning to home country while u already applied for 309 visa

While applying for 600, we got a letter from my employer stating that I was on leave and would return to work on a specific date, we also wrote a letter stating how my family is in India and I would want to stay with them.
It shouldn’t be a problem for you, I guess they will grant it easily!

Hi dear I hope you doing well and congratulations I'm happy for you as you granted for your Visa after all the documents so proud of you but please help me I haven't see my husband over two years I was watching all full of your videos how you successfully about the partner visas I live in California United States 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 so we did all the documents I'm just still waiting for Approved after we submitted the last paper in December 15 /2021 still they didn't respond the immigration until now so we Submitted our application from the beginning March 27/2020
So my plan right now even though they didn't tell as Approved I just think to go to Australia on this coming months do you think they will be Approved As if I stay in Australia my husband is in Perth right now pleased 🙏 please 🙏 please 🙏 helped me I'm really stress full thanks so much dear congratulations

You sent your application in March 2020 right ?
I applied in September 2018 after my 1 year Working holiday visa expired. I recieved my grant in September 2021.it takes a VERYYYY long time to recieve a grant from the Australian immigration. You should've applied Onshore and not outside Australia in order to be able to stay with your husband/partner.
I applied onshore it took me about 4 years to get granted meanwhile I stayed in Australia on a Bridging Visa A until my Grant in September 2021. Applied in September 2018 and got Granted for Permanent residency/Permanent Partner visa(809) in September 2021...
Takes forever and I feel sorry you didn't see your hubby for that long but since the pandemic they take their time to grant and process applications dunno why...
