It looks like we may have the same intake? have you figured out which oil catch can properly works .. The one I bought does not work properly unless I machine my own it won't look right or fit properly. My truck is a ram 18 I bought a modern muscle 6.4 long block forged internals with a SRT pro Comp Cam. I decided to run short tube headers along with a nice cold air intake deleted mid muffler and resonators sounds like a beast.
6.4 truck intake manifold has an internal vented PCV. You need to block the path venting the PCV into the intake, then drill tap and thread a barb hose fitting to run to your catch can then another hose from your catch can to a barbed hose fitting plumbed into the EGR block off plate. The PCV is the round lid with a straight flap, to remove twist counter clockwise and pull up with pliers(too hard to use just fingers to pull.) You can then see the hole that vents into the intake that needs to be sealed. I used a piece of ABS 1 1/2" pipe heated and molded to the inside radius of the PCV housing. Then used silicone to glue it and seal the vent hole. That way you can always remove the plastic, put a cap on the barbed fitting and go back to internal vent PCV if needed.
Where did you get your intake from. Been looking and found mmx and moes. Noticed you mentioned frp for tuning. I have a stage 2 tsp, hellcat lifters, MDs delete, and melling hp oil pump. But she needs more so intake and headers are next on the todo list

Yes injectors came with the manifold, I bought it brand new from moesperformance.com

I'm full bolt on minus the manafold . Is it pretty noticeable diffremce 1300 is alot when I can get a cam kit for 2k
I’d do the cam before the manifold. Either way they work best together
Did FRP delete your emission codes? I’m trying to find a tuner who’s willing to do that for me, I just got longtube headers and a 6.4 intake

@@Shooff3.4 haha but it might be what it takes to push it deep into the 12s or maybe high 11s. That motor and trans has been a trooper this far
I ran a 100 shot on my old 6 speed for years. Fbo truck. Just don’t abuse it and check the plugs before racing you’ll be good

Yeah run 100 shot and blow your throttle plate or even worse your plastic intake manifold to bits...

you can only use the truck or the wagoneer version.

You should still get a tune, the intake manifold is bigger and has bigger runners and flows a little differently
Not getting it tuned defeats the purpose of upgrading the manifold.
What hose you use for the the front vacuum line to the 6.4

Wow sorry not sure why I didn’t see this, I’m not exactly sure at the moment, when I get home I can look. But if it’s the one I’m thinking of, there was a line we had to go to the parts store and get. Just a small diameter hose from the parts store, not quite sure on the size

The S&B I put on is for a 6.4 truck but it’s on my 5.7 truck because I put the 6.4 manifold on my 5.7 truck

Oh yeah unfortunately not, pretty different due to the throttle body location difference on the intakes
You talking about the big intake hose to the filter? Cuz if that’s what you’re talking about it definitely took some work. Needed some lube lol

And then have to customize cold air intake hosing. As no one makes one for a 2022 version

So I did, but it doesn’t seem to be Efficient at all. Had it on for a year now and it doesn’t catch anything. I can try and find the video showing how I did it tho. It was in a random video I didn’t label it for that or anything

I daily mine also and didn’t notice any better/worse gas mileage

Yup! Drive it every day of the summer, and taking it on a 1000+ mile road trip this year. The stall once locked doesn’t change anything, so once you’re moving and the converter is locked, it’s just like driving a normal coverter

@@Cisco345 converters are definitely a great mod, only thing for problems they can cause is they heat up transmissions a lot faster because there’s a lot more converter slipping going on. So if you get one definitely keep an eye on trans temps, but otherwise go for it!
