Now, typically you’d be embroidering custom belts like these for Karate Dojos and various sporting events, which is a great niche to focus on for your business. After watching this episode, you’ll be able to create this specialty item and add it to your list of available services!
If you’ve never heard of Ricoma’s belt hoop before, it is one of our popular specialty accessories that you can purchase on our online shop (see the link above). In our shop, you’ll find lots of additional embroidery accessories that you can add to your tool kit, which will also help expand your business.
Finding a way to embroider on belts with regular hoops can be difficult, but this specialty hoop makes hooping belts and similar items hassle-free! Its strong clamps ensure the belt is held securely in place, which prevents stitching errors from occurring.
To use the belt hoop, unlock the clamps on both sides of the hoop. Then, feed the belt through the two middle brackets. Start from the top, then slide the belt under the brackets then out again. Once you have your belt fed through the hoop, tighten the clamps on either side to secure your belt. For items like these, you will not need any kind of backing.
When loading it on your machine, remember, the U-shaped bracket should always be facing up. When selecting your hoop for this specialty frame, you can either choose “Other” which will open up your embroidery parameters, or choose the “E” hoop selection which is the closest in size of your belt hoop. Lastly, don’t forget to trace!
Once the embroidery is all done, unlock the clamps of the belt hoop and release your finished product! Now you’re ready to beat your competition with more personalized specialty items like belts, dog collars, and sashes.

Hi there! When embroidering a belt and facing challenges with coverage, you may need to experiment with different fill types and settings to achieve the desired result. We recommend scheduling a training with our team so they can help answer these questions (:

it would be great if the belts hoop could come with guides on it to make sure we hoop the belts straight
Hi! Check out this older video we did on belt hoops ---->ruclips.net/video/ynvRxOVa9vc/видео.html
You make mark on the hoop for that ,plus you move the frame left and right to make sure you done the hooping straight or you push down the par left and far right foot and check if it’s straight.
Willy definitely has a black belt in embroidery.
