  • After heart surgery 3 Foods I never eat | Arnold's new workout and diet revealed
He's a bodybuilding icon, an action hero, and a former governor of California. But beyond the muscles and the movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger, embodies the power of lifelong dedication to health and fitness. While a heart surgery necessitated a shift from his intense training style, he still lifts weights, favoring lighter weights and higher repetitions. we'll delve into the strategies that keep this legendary figure in shape, even at 76 years old.

I’m 55 and in great shape. No signs of losing anything.

Sat in bed quietly and thought maybe it was something I ate. blood pressure was way up. I took a 3 hour nap , then got up feeling fine and read about how almonds don't react well with some folks.

I think it's because of the high content of oxylates in almonds. I'm personally staying away from almonds now, but I've been eating them for years. I thought they were healthy, but they only cause pain and inflammation. Same for chocolate, but I'll have a little treat on a rare occasion. Watch out for spinach, extremely high oxylate content.
Wish I've known this earlier, but I'm changing up my diet now and eating mostly animal products and carbs like white rice. Mushrooms is nice. Certain veggies are ok like asparagus, onions, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli. But overall I would stay away from most veggies.

@@inhibited44No problemo, just glad I can share some valuable info😄👍 I did the exact same thing with spinach in eggs, but not for every breakfast. I think it's mostly the almonds and dark chocolate that was my issue, I snacked them all the time, had them with my oatmeal every time.
If you eat food with high content oxylates over time you will develop kidney stones, and I've heard those things are really fuckin painful, so no thanks I don't want that, I have already enough pain in my body 😝

I'm 54 in pretty good cardio shape. I walk my dog every day and train karate 2-3 times a week. By listening to my body I'm feeling the need to add resistance into my routine. Its difficult to know where to start….so much conflicting advice……my son has a fully equipped gym in our summer house that he’ll let me use. Advice on starting out would be welcome.

Hi Paul, Am 48, I walk 5 to 6kms everyday early in the morning around 4.30am. (It takes me an hour) After reaching back home I do some squats & stretches. I do weight training with a kettlebell and dumbbells approx three times a week focusing on high repetitions to have a leaner, better defined shape. Resistance bands are pretty good too to maintain muscle tone. After years of experimenting with both diet and exercise, what am currently doing is working well for me. I think you need to follow your gut and try to arrive at what type of workouts suit you the best. Best way in the gym is to start light and then increase weight as you feel stronger. Your body will speak to you as you move on. The approach to diet and exercise, in my opinion, cannot be a “one size fits all” thing. Cheers, Dan

Resistance train enough to get a decent pump, but not so much that you can't do it again in 2, or 3, days time. Repeat process indefinitely.
I have done this consistently since 2009 (now age 57)

My great-grandfather came from Austria-Hungary and Bohemia. He was born in 1899 and passed away in 1995. He taught me to read and write before I went to school He taught me to defend myself and be a good person. He was my role model, only after his death I saw photos from 1938, when he was a power gymnast and the first bodybuilder in the Sokol group... I've never seen such a muscular man without taking steroid... He always told me to eat fat 🥩 meat, I hated it, but he gave me fish oil in the years and saved my leg that was crooked like a chimpanzee. The doctors didn't help, but all it took was months of fish oil and the leg swelled up

It's very simple. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean chix, light dairy like Greek yogurt and cheese, and lots and lots of exercise. I'm 70, thin built, very athletic and never been sick, never even been to a doctor. And the only time I've ever had a headache was when I was in love. 71 this July 2024. So my advice is, if you want a headache, fall in love. If you want to fall in love, get a puppy.

This means, permanent hair dying and shaving, with age especially, is needed. I was wondering earlier those days, passing near Gratz and i was thinking of his native born country/city, where this legend man was born! Either, especially he has the blue moral eyes, that reflects a form of special character!👏👏👏
