@@DNGR369 No, he didn't. You're uninformed and stupid. He had an old football injury than resulted in a botched back surgery after he became Mr. Olympia. It progressively got worse over the years and multiple surgeries later it still wasn't fixed. He would have been like this even if he stopped lifting after 1 Mr Olympia.
@@johnames6430 Yeah he's had about 8 or 9 surgeries over the years. This LAST one was a new method that was supposed to fix everything but as you can see it didn't. He got some mobility back, but he still can't stand up straight.
I've been suffering from partial blindness and spinal degeneration for months now, and this is just what I need to see. Pure motivation! No matter what life throws at you, keep pumping!

My Dad was a massive Arnold fan when I was growing up. So, naturally, I grew up on a steady diet of Arnold’s movies. I can’t even begin to articulate how much of an influence he had on me growing up. Ronnie Coleman is like the nicest guy on earth..true gentleman full of positivity..its heartbreaking to see him walking with crutches and his back destroyed..he is in so much pain everyday and never complains..FYI Arnold is 77 and Ronnie 59..with Arnold being better off..in Ronnie's era of lifting and the demand and weights got lot heavier and Ronnie is paying price..both legends..you ll never meet moe positive and radiant guy then Ronnie

Two of the mentally toughest human beings in history right there. Both had the ability to endure incredible pain and suffering with a smile on their face their entire careers and still do today. One of the biggest reasons why they're the greatest.
Two legends just complimenting everything about each other is just soooooo awesome .... although I'll never be anywhere near where you guys are (currently) and especially back in your days, you are both truly an inspiration to us all ❤
Seeing the two working out together is a joy. I am 63 and a natural trainer since 1977. When you get to our age, the first thing to go are the wheels and the shoulders!
This makes me so happy and sad at the same time. My best friends were super inspired by you both and all through middle/highschool/ and into our 20's they were dedicated to lifting and would use a lot of the same phrases you both use to inspire me and the rest of our friend group, as well strangers. The three of them passed away just a few years back at the ages of 24/25 and I have found it exceedingly difficult to get back into the gym but seeing you both here is extremely motivating. Just know that you both have been and continue to be super heroes to a lot of us. No one is perfect, but there are character traits that inspire greatness in others that you both exhibit. From your dedication and work ethic, to your humility and compassion. Thanks a lot to you both and it's great to see you guys together and training with that abominable spirit!
I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my father. I can't even imagine losing 3 friends. God bless your heart and give your strength. I don't want to be too forward as loss is so personal but I imagined yoir friends cheering you on in the gym, with you in spirit. No one is ever truly gone and we all unite again. Death is only a temporary separation. I hope you find comfort in that. From one grieving soul to another, God bless you.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Some of the worst times in my life coincided with me not having the motivation to go to the gym. Even though it’s been a huge part of my life since I was 18, there were many stretches where I wouldn’t go for months because life had me feeling burned out. The great thing is exercise will always be there for you when you come back to It, whether you are 20,30, or 70 there is always a special feeling you get from challenging yourself physically and showing up fir yourself. There are no “finish lines” in fitness, for as long as we live every day is an opportunity to start over again. I remember how mad I would feel about myself for slacking off and “losing all my progress”, but the day I started working out again was the day I started feeling better.

I have MS and Arnie you have really, really helped inspire me to start working out again. Before I had the disease I did a lot of resistance training and walking but I gave them up because I just didn't have the energy any longer and was constantly feeling sorry for myself. Your words and deeds really gave me the confidence to start resistance training once again and get myself into better shape. THANK YOU ARNIE!!!!

You have always been a source of inspiration for me and in bodybuilding. I really enjoyed watching Arnold's training videos. Every time I saw him training and giving his all, I was more motivated than ever and Ronnie...., all my love for bodybuilding, strength and bodybuilding comes from him.... A exceptional athlete and an extraordinary man. From the first time I saw him training, I always knew he would be my role model. He pushed me to still love bodybuilding more than anything.... I always loved his hard work and his determination to surpass himself. His training has always motivated me throughout my life. I love Ronnie and always will.

@@DNGR369 No, he didn't. You're uninformed and stupid. He had an old football injury than resulted in a botched back surgery after he became Mr. Olympia. It progressively got worse over the years and multiple surgeries later it still wasn't fixed. He would have been like this even if he stopped lifting after 1 Mr Olympia.
@@johnames6430 Yeah he's had about 8 or 9 surgeries over the years. This LAST one was a new method that was supposed to fix everything but as you can see it didn't. He got some mobility back, but he still can't stand up straight.
I've been suffering from partial blindness and spinal degeneration for months now, and this is just what I need to see. Pure motivation! No matter what life throws at you, keep pumping!

My Dad was a massive Arnold fan when I was growing up. So, naturally, I grew up on a steady diet of Arnold’s movies. I can’t even begin to articulate how much of an influence he had on me growing up. Cemented in history, in the hearts, minds, and souls of everyone who grew up with his undeniable influence.

Ronnie Coleman is like the nicest guy on earth..true gentleman full of positivity..its heartbreaking to see him walking with crutches and his back destroyed..he is in so much pain everyday and never complains..FYI Arnold is 77 and Ronnie 59..with Arnold being better off..in Ronnie's era of lifting and the demand and weights got lot heavier and Ronnie is paying price..both legends..you ll never meet moe positive and radiant guy then Ronnie

The thing I notice about Arnold these days, is how much he reminds me of my late father, and its like hes still here, teaching me about life. But then again, Arnold had been my mentor since I picked up a set of concrete weider weights in 1982.

Two of the mentally toughest human beings in history right there. Both had the ability to endure incredible pain and suffering with a smile on their face their entire careers and still do today. One of the biggest reasons why they're the greatest.

Seeing the two working out together is a joy. I am 63 and a natural trainer since 1977. When you get to our age, the first thing to go are the wheels and the shoulders!

This makes me so happy and sad at the same time. My best friends were super inspired by you both and all through middle/highschool/ and into our 20's they were dedicated to lifting and would use a lot of the same phrases you both use to inspire me and the rest of our friend group, as well strangers. The three of them passed away just a few years back at the ages of 24/25 and I have found it exceedingly difficult to get back into the gym but seeing you both here is extremely motivating.
Just know that you both have been and continue to be super heroes to a lot of us. No one is perfect, but there are character traits that inspire greatness in others that you both exhibit. From your dedication and work ethic, to your humility and compassion.
Thanks a lot to you both and it's great to see you guys together and training with that abominable spirit!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Some of the worst times in my life coincided with me not having the motivation to go to the gym. Even though it’s been a huge part of my life since I was 18, there were many stretches where I wouldn’t go for months because life had me feeling burned out. The great thing is exercise will always be there for you when you come back to It, whether you are 20,30, or 70 there is always a special feeling you get from challenging yourself physically and showing up fir yourself. There are no “finish lines” in fitness, for as long as we live every day is an opportunity to start over again. I remember how mad I would feel about myself for slacking off and “losing all my progress”, but the day I started working out again was the day I started feeling better.

I have MS and Arnie you have really, really helped inspire me to start working out again. Before I had the disease I did a lot of resistance training and walking but I gave them up because I just didn't have the energy any longer and was constantly feeling sorry for myself. Your words and deeds really gave me the confidence to start resistance training once again and get myself into better shape. THANK YOU ARNIE!!!!
I was diagnosed with MS this spring. I was training before the diagnosis and am training now. It is the best medicine mentally and physically. Don't give up bro, you'll do great, you made the right decision!

This is definitely a Haley's Comet moment in life. A rare sighting of two of the most charismatic individuals to grace the body building world. Arnold was who I wanted to be as a young man and Ronnie is a man that I have come to admire for his strength in his beliefs and his outlook on life. He could have given up but has refused to let this stop him. Both truly amazing individuals.

I was grinning at so many points of this video. I know some of it is for the camera, but how they joked around is so much like how my gym buddies and I joke around. Ronnie and Arnold are the most positive bodybuilders I've had exposure to. I'd like to see more collaboration between you two.

You have always been a source of inspiration for me and in bodybuilding. I really enjoyed watching Arnold's training videos. Every time I saw him training and giving his all, I was more motivated than ever and Ronnie...., all my love for bodybuilding, strength and bodybuilding comes from him.... A exceptional athlete and an extraordinary man. From the first time I saw him training, I always knew he would be my role model. He pushed me to still love bodybuilding more than anything.... I always loved his hard work and his determination to surpass himself. His training has always motivated me throughout my life. I love Ronnie and always will.
