There is no bag that comes on the filter, what you are seeing is the drycharger kit that you use with the cold air setup (since it drops into the wheel well) to keep excess water from entering your intake. Like when the roads are wet, or it's raining. It is a tightly woven synthetic mesh to make it far more water-repellent (not water-PROOF though) You don't use it on the short ram setup.
i get drawing air from outside the engine compartment and the stock air cleaner also draws from outside the eng compartment thru the top of the grill..but now you have the wheel well plastic debris and water shields removed allowing water and dirt from the tires to get thrown in...and allowing 80 mph wind comming in making your engine compartment a parachute wind dam..kinda makes it alot slower..NISMO factory cold air has no hp increase just more intake sound...but still a good how to video, dont get me wrong...
I just got the model number from the K&N website, but you can buy it off of eBay or autopartswarehouse com, and use model number 69-7060TS to verify it's the same kit. Which one will be cheaper will depend on the shipping costs to where you live.
I had a 2005 2.5s with cold air intake and ran Mobil 1 full synthetic and 93 gas with octane booster and I would out run a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V that had a 5 speed and a cold air intake. It was even up until about 50 then I'd walk the dog on him.
Do you know what kind of intake I would need for a 2008 Nissan Altima I’m looking to upgrade mine and I wanna start with the intake but have no idea what kind or where to buy it
The link I sent you is the original site, but if you buy off of eBay or autopartswarehouse com, and use model number 69-7060TS to verify it's the same kit. Which one will be cheaper will depend on the shipping costs to where you live.

Did you notice a big difference? Not sound wise but power. I live where it rains and snows a lot will that cover over the cone be enough for it?
