@@DeeKay1911 I regret getting mine and not just getting an apple watch. When I bought mine it seemed like it was a fitbit on a ring but the only good features is the sleep tracker that is now on the new apple watches. A lot of features they promised are still not out or functional.
Just make sure to 100% correctly pronounce their name or they will come after you. Man after what Linus told how they acted it does have a bitter taste to it.
Who cares about Linus? They would have paid alot of money to him, so of course they want the name to be pronounced well, if you pay for an ad wouldint you want your company name pronounced right?

I checked out the price for the Gucci version, it costs around $450 more than the normal ring. So the premium amount you pay for the Gucci version would pay for a subscription for 6 years , I wouldn’t really advise spending that much more upfront JUST to avoid the subscription because honestly after 6 years because that’s a looong time.

For your sake, I hope you never have to use their customer service. Rings look good for 4-6 months then look like cheap garbage. At least that's the case for the last TWO I've had. Not to mention they will NOT help you if you have a problem. Let us know how yours goes!

100% agree, I would buy one, but not if its useless unless you pay an ongoing $6-7/month, how ridiculous after paying a premium. I understand 6 months is supplied but the point is after that it becomes useless with the subscription.
I recently bought this and when compared to much cheaper wearables it’s one of the least accurate. It’s also difficult to get the fit right because they don’t have half sizes, and fingers change thickness regularly throughout the day, and if it’s a little loose it just won’t get readings. Actual scientific reviews of the oura show is as less accurate than Apple Watch by a large margin, and even things like Fitbit watches tend to be more accurate sleep trackers. I’m actually boxing my stealth gen 3 horizon to send back, and was looking for unboxing vids to make sure I didn’t miss anything for my refund.

I love the idea, but as someone with tiny hands its just too chunky for me. I realise it kinda has to be chunky to fit all the tech in maybe, but I'd love it if they could come out with a slimmer design in the future.
Oura support has improved over the last year but is still pretty bad. My ring accuracy still lacks My wife's ring version 3 is a little over a year old and no longer holds a charge it goes from 100% at 9:00 p.m. in the evening to 0 by morning. Supports advice was to buy another ring we're going to wait for Samsung's product to come out and or go back to whoop for much better data.
I love my Oura ring too! So much comfortable than smart watches/bands. Plus it tackles a more hollistic and wellness approach compared to other smart devices, specifically the Apple watch which is better for activity. Hope you get protection for your ring from OSleeve too, to take care of your investment.

Gen 2 Oura user since 2019, and now using Gen 3. It's the best wearable for me. I tried Apple Watch, but it's too clunky for me. Works well syncing the data with Apple Health too.

They feel the same. I seemed to fidget more with the horizon b/c it had the flat edge so I'd always be flipping it around but I don't do that as much with this one! I love the rose gold, it's really pretty!
Have used the Oura Gen3 for 8 months now. As I now have to pay 5€/month and the battery barely lasts 2 days with Blood Oxygen sensing turned on, I am going to switch back to an Apple Watch. Forget Workout Heartrates. They are super inaccurate (especially compared to the Apple Watches). Inform yourselves on Reddit before buying…

I absolutely love my Oura ring. It really is very accurate. Before getting diagnosed with COVID, it recorded my temperature was higher than normal. BTW jealous of your sleep score. I already know it will be not good because I ate dinner late.
Dont you worry about selling or more precisely giving all of your medical data for FREE away? I believe that if the app stores data locally it is kinda OK(ish) but if they store the data on their super secure storage servers is a no go. Anyways cool little tech but data security is more important to me at least.
@@TATTEDGAY it's a pretty big gray area right now, so if they picked up on the fact that you had a heart issue or high blood pressure, you could get denied by insurance. There's a lot of stuff that's actually not protected if it is not through a proper Medical Channel like a hospital where they have HIPAA laws.

Just get the Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sleep tracking is still the best. Battery last a week and looks better than the Apple Watch - which is too bulky. All you need on a smart watch is notification anyway.
Will wearing it on middle finger work? Im trying to lose 25-30 pounds and know my fingers will shrink.. my thought is to start on middle finger and transition to pointer finger when as the weight drops. Not sure about accuracy if on finger other than pointer
You'll scratch the crap out of it. It looks terrible after just a few months. I've had two. That and, if anything ever goes wrong, they will NOT help you. There is no customer support, you just get scripted answers. It's like talking to a very unintelligent AI. At least with watches you can adjust the size!

So I bought the Gucci Oura ring so I don’t have to pay a monthly fee. That’s the only way around it. Is there a way to use more than 1 ring? I still like the look of my gold one but I think you can only have 1 ring on the app. I see you have multiple colours. Are you able to switch between them? I see your using the Gucci one too.

The lifetime subscription is for your account though. If you wanted to buy another ring down the line, you can use it under the same account.
It won’t last six years mine only lasted two before the battery gave up

Oura was good a few years ago, but the recently monthly subscription makes it garbage now. Just get an apple watch.

So I bought the Gucci Oura ring so I don’t have to pay a monthly fee. That’s the only way around it. Is there a way to use more than 1 ring? I still like the look of my gold one but I think you can only have 1 ring on the app. I see you have multiple colours. Are you able to switch between them? I see your using the Gucci one too.
FYI to anyone trying to get around the monthly subscription fee and saw that the Gucci version has no monthly subscription. I checked out the price for the Gucci version, it costs around $450 more than the normal ring. So the premium amount you pay for the Gucci version would pay for a subscription for 6 years , I wouldn’t really advise spending that much more upfront JUST to avoid the subscription because honestly after 6 years because that’s a looong time.
@Maravilla what? Lol. Not even remotely true. $450 is only $100 more than the Horizon which equates to a 16-17mo membership. Or, in the case of the Heritage, 25 months of membership lol.
