How to paint concrete. How to repair and restore your concrete with concrete painting. How to resurface your concrete with concrete paint.
In this video I'm repairing and resurfacing an old, cracked concrete pool deck and I'm going to make it look like new again.
I cleaned the concrete by pressure washing, routed out the cracks and patched with flexible caulking and concrete patch material. Then I used 2 coats of flexible concrete waterproofing paint to resurface the concrete.
This concrete paint comes in many different colors and is very easy to apply as you'll see in the video. I always use 2 coats to get complete coverage and a really uniform look.

This video and the product are perfect for what I need to do Mike! I have much less area to cover because the deck is a 48"-56" walkway aroung the pool. I wanted to do a nice sand color because I will have some beach motif around the pool. Love the work ethic you guys have!! If you could "teach" that..you would be a millionaire. Hats off to you and your crew!

This came out great! I would love something like this for my concrete garage. I've seen people put down the epoxy floors and that looks like a really intense job especially considering the square footage of a garage. I'd like to find something like what you guys just did --2 coats and done y'all make it look easy! Keep up the great work.

You can always add carbon stitches to the crack to stop them from recracking, just a thought. Looks great.

Yes I will like to it. Because I had a guy paint my sidewalk and front porch Sept last year and through the winter it’s all come up.

Hi Mike. I saw your other video on painting a concrete patio with Sherwin Williams ConFlex Waterproof paint. Why use ConFlex over SherCrete and vice versa?
It's the same stuff, they recently changed the name to Conflex
Yes, we could do that here in Baja Sur. We have some scaling on the concrete. Can you go over the scaling on the first coat? Definitely will check into this. Gracias. (Sea of Cortez, La Ribera, BCS)

Great video. I'm considering coating my pool concrete. One issue I have is what to do with the water channels. Most of the plastic in the channel is damaged. Should I take out the plastic channel or fill in over the top of it? If so, with what material? Thanks.

Do they have a light grey almost white color concrete paint? From the video it looks tan color. I want something more of a light grey/white for my concrete backyard

Hi there, that concrete job looks fantastic. I am planning to perform a similar job in my house. A Sherwin-Williams associate told me this product changed the name to Conflex.
