12:49 Ha! The wind will have the same effect on all the drones. If the drones are flying in a 10mph headwind, then their groundspeeds will be reduced by 10mph. Likewise, if they fly in a 10mph tailwind, their groundspeeds will be increased by 10mph. Wind does not affect airspeed.
I know the Mavic can but can the other drones have their power outputs changed to the so called "super sport mode" if so, you should retest with full power activated 😉 I know the mavic can go a lot faster so it would be interesting to see the inspire 1 and 2 at full power!

I have nothing against the typhoon, but do not you think it a little stupid to put in 2nd place, when I never competed against the inspire1? The mavic lost twice, we know it is the worst, But the inpire 1 and the typhoon both lost with the inspire 2 I have my serious doubts, that it be faster, On the other hand the speed in all the apparatuses is given By a limit of the firmware, so that the battery is not consumed and not lose autonomy. And do not overheat the motors. The only real test would be giving them a circuit for gps, in straight line of much distance. In the filming is not clear at all until they arrive, And I would almost say that the typhoon brakes before arriving,

I would. but dont have an inspire 2 to test against. why not go into the channel settings. and ramp up the gains for the st16 pitch control from 100-----up to 125%???.. see if that can give it a little more oomphf. might not make any difference as the flight controller is restricted by IMU angle.. but it might just help it enough to close that gap. and instant start off speed if you get me???. hummm. I might give that a go myself and record the st16 screen to see the speed?' see if it makes a difference..

The test is little bit uncomplete and unfair to Inspire 1, maybe I1 would win a TH, and place on second place, but you didnt race it those two. Btw nice race and video, cheers guys! ;)
Yuneec H vs. Mavic - Inspire 1 + 2 --- They can still be so good if the Yuneec H happens to be a propeller / engine failing, nix '' If the 3 other one fails, the scrap is. What good is a minimum better image, a minimum fast speed, if the wind-sensitive, a lot more cost, and in case of engine failure are scrap ?? The Yuneec H has some 'error' 'the camera could be slightly better, but the wind is unstable, very agile, has a 360 degree gimbel an adjustment of the camera to the top, weighs under 2 Kg and is expandable. The remote control is ingenious - spare parts affordable. For me currently up to 2000 € the "best drone"

Richard Gilmore you could do that with the inspire 2 as well as putting the legs up . it'll still be faster . it's a rocket
