0:59 - Oh come on, Lenny. This is supposed to be a FAMILY show !!
So on my Glock performance trigger I messed up and took apart that trigger bar. I found it just as easy to use the bigger take down pin to hold the spring back and assemble the bar back worked perfectly and fast. Great video.
This is a good video. My GPT jammed up at the range, probably due to trigger bar displacement. I took out the striker and removed the slide, and once I watched the video I could reassemble everything. Thanks!
That spring action tho😂
Followed by “a pain in the booty”
🤣🤣🤣
@@angeldesigns1385 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks, I didn’t have to say it myself 😂😂😂
So this is why they come with the rubber band holding everything together, ingenious little tool . Very nice Lenny . Tiny mouse trap !
Great design Lenny!!! I’ve visited your store a few times coming from Huntsville. Even stopped by on the way back to Huntsville from the airport. Cool spot to pickup awesome toys for your Glock!!!
Small pick works pretty easy but this new tool is great idea!
That should come with the trigger
I was in the store last Saturday, and picked up the Glock Performance Trigger (love living in Nashville, and hope the trip was good). What did I do when I got home? Yup, exactly what you said everyone does… I was curious as to how it worked because I plan to polish the trigger bar. Whoops. I managed to get it straightened out after a few minutes using an angled pick, but it wasn't exactly easy. The tool that you guys make is very smartly designed and will likely save a lot of hand cramping. Keep innovating!!
Thank you for sharing!
Ordered this tool with my trigger from you. Well worth the price, I soon discovered!
I bought the tool because I changed the lighter connector to an 8 lb.(+) connector in order to eliminate light strikes, which this trigger assembly has
I just went through thus. And you're right. It's a huge pain. I will be getting that little tool
This was the exact video I needed. I bought the tool but I managed to get it back together with a dental pick.
That’s pretty amazing. I’ve been ambivalent about getting the performance trigger after hearing about what a pain it is to take apart, because I would really prefer to swap out the connector for (I think) the dot connector which would put the trigger weight back around the five pound mark for defensive use. I just bought an OEM replacement from you all, but if that doesn’t fix the undesirable issue with my trigger bar’s safety extension “diving“ into the notch for the safety plunger, I’m definitely going to try the performance trigger with this tool and the heavier connector.
I was just using the Glock punch it fits perfectly on that notch , but this seems legit 👍
Definitely need one for my Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS. Not planning on disassembling it either but great information if it comes apart .
Just found this RUclips channel and realize you were the same guy that used to come in to yoshinoya on convoy and order large spicy chicken bowls about 17 years ago 😂. Same order every time!
You don’t need that tool you can use the old connector to stick in the back side to hold it down while you slide the front side in
Glocks should already come with the best trigger possible.
In fact they do for the purpose. Performance Trigger is for sports shooting.
Thank you! I've been struggling with that for hours
Thanks man. I learned so much from your videos. I would love to visit your shop, but I'm in Europe.
I’m sure you could probably find a file for 3-D printed one
It's one of those upgrades that you might not think you need, but once you experience it, you won't want to go back
I carry a Glock don't get me wrong, but isn't it a bit sad that we need to replace the trigger to get what other companies offer with their base model? (CZ, Walther, HK etc)
@@insanity4082that‘s what i love about glock. Endless ways of modification & personalization.
Yes no doubt, but I still wouldn't migrate to anything else. I'll carry Gen 5 Glocks for decades @@insanity4082
@@insanity4082not for people like the GS that sell upgrades😂
@@insanity4082No. It can be said those guns' triggers you mentioned are too sensitive for defensive use.
Shipping costs almost twice as much as the tool!
Buy a plane ticket, fly out, and come get it yourself. I'm sure that would be cheaper, right? You can order other stuff too and shipping is free on order over $100.
@@BWHeitmann I ordered once from the Glock Store and never again. It was a tungsten rod in my 45MOS that came apart during a COF. Will never use anything again not OEM for my EDC. Glock support never replied to requests for replacement.
Once you find the right video you'll be surprised how quick and easy it is to put back together.
One of the best upgrade by far.
Very cool tool, Lenny! Thanks for sharing!
Great thinking, a very small, but very helpful tool to have around, making lives a lot easier and enjoyable. 🎉🎉🎉
I know inflation is bad, but to charge people this much money?????? Ohh man!
you do not need to buy that orange piece all u need is a drill bit big enough to fill the hole and push it through the same way.
What? A better trigger for my
Gen 1 glock 22? Shocking 😮.
I thought I was buying Glock
Perfection. You know it can't
Be improved. I love my old
Dumpy stiff trigger.
$12.00 for shipping!? No thanks.
😂😂😂
Wow that is neat and easy .
I have large hands. The GPT OEM shoe fits perfectly for me in my Gen V. I have a Gen III 17 that I'd like to get the GPT for, but I don't need the Pyramid shoe. Can I get the setup with the factory shoe in a Gen III configuration with the back plate?
you should show us how to do it manually
1:00 when I try and explain to my child what sex is
You can do it without tools. Trust me... So easy
Yet another special "glock" tool I will need to acquire... 🙄 😉 Don't get me started on VW tools... 😱
Why don’t you add the tool to the trigger as customers are already paying extra money .makes life easier
You should be ashamed of the $10.00 price - it cost at least .25 to make ,
and the msrp on the trigger sale gives you a large markup to cover production .
Highway robbery
Does it have to be taken apart to install it?
Anyone know what trigger bar the glock performance trigger uses? I want to add a flat face trigger to it.
Bless than $10?!I should hope so!
Why would anyone take it apart tho?
Thanks, Uncle Lenny~
1:02 PAUSE, lenny
Was there last Monday.
Such a small plastic tool should be under $2.
Only thing I don’t like about glockstore is the shipping gets expensive.
Just buy the performance trigger for under 100 bucks or so and save yourself a headache
in my opinion
Absolutely brilliant! lol
Cant find the tool on the website
Brilliant tool👍🏼👍🏼
What's the difference between the Glock performance trigger and the Pyramid trigger?
Have you seen the glock 48 yet if so why have you not posted it the glock 48 has the new rust coating and it does not have standard black look
Free Shipping FedEx 😊
can i install it without the tool?
i hope so because i‘m a glockhead living on the philippines and i‘m planning on putting the performance trigger into my G19X + G17 gen 5 without that tool. I hope it won‘t be a hassle.
can I put a red dot on my gen1 19?
Are Glock sights made out the same polymer as the frame
Yes they are other then little plate on bottom of the rear sight that fits the dovetail
There is a spot on the regular trigger that I am supposed to lubricate. Where is the same spot on the performance trigger?
The same place.
@@pgithens1 Thanks for the reply! That's the problem though, it looks different enough that I don't know where "the same place" is.
Wow, cool!
So is disassembling a part of the process of swapping the trigger unit?
Not it is not. But some get curious and take it apart because you can do with the stock trigger and very easily reassemble. Just becomes kind of a habit when you take these things apart a lot. Also, some people want to remove the connector and polish it or replace it with a different connector. You'll need to disassemble in that case. But if you're just replacing the stock trigger with the Performance trigger, it goes in as easily as the old one comes out.
saw someone using an allen to do just that .. that 12dollar thing is just a waste of money .. sorry bro 😅
Stop changing your Glocks internal parts. It's all hype

@@TheBlackScatPack Hilarious that immediately after he makes that worldwide understood gesture his mind thinks about something being "a pain in the booty", lol. Talk about a Freudian slip... man if ever there was one! LOLLL
Can that fit a 43x?
No.
$10?!? How the fuck is that thing worth $10? You should just include it with the purchase or charge a couple of bucks if they want to add it to their purchase. No damn way that thing is worth $10. $3 tops.
I just looked at it on the website and you could literally cut one out of a wooden dowel in less than five minutes with a Dremel. Who cares about a arrow, just make sure it’s in the proper orientation. Yeah I wouldn’t go through the process of ordering that shit either.
I just thought that before seeing your comment! 💯
That's the beauty of a free market, you are free to design, produce, and sell your own for less if you want. However, based on how fast these are moving, the market definitely doesn't agree with your sentiments.
@@BWHeitmann The fact that some people buy it tells us nothing about how many rejected it. It could be 200:1.
🖖💯😀💯👍
Here’s what i don’t get about Glock. They’re literally the biggest name in striker fired handguns yet they have trash sights and triggers. Why don’t they just improve them? Maybe they’re waiting for a sales slump to introduce a new Glock 69 that’s just a Glock19 with improved trigger and sights. 🙄
Once you have those government contracts why would you?
