16 year lethal force instructor, retired Govt., and Lenny's videos have ALWAYS had a place in my library. I have $$$ thousands in videos from all schools and organizations including Lenny's and he ALWAYS BRINGS IT! Way to Go! This is a great overview, but do your homework and talk to the Glock Store if you have questions! :-) Locktite 243 is heat and oil resistant and that's what you want to use, and a good boresighter is essential in lining up the sight. I say sight, because the front sight is not adjustable, unless you get one that is. Get it close, but use a boresighter to dial it in. I have a Glock where the sight is visually off to the left, but the gun shoots right on.
I have the same set on my G3C and my 43X. Love them. Instead of using a pusher, you can use a gun smithing hammer and a nylon punch rod! Just make sure to do marks on your old sights line up points and your in business!
Nice Job Lenny. What I also do is use a White China Pencil to Demarcate the centerpoint of the y Old Sights, so I have an indication point, of where to center or Realign the new ones. Cheers.
Really appreciate your video and the way you take your time and walk us through the whole process. Not everyone watching is experienced and in the end even experienced people can benefit from the "play by play" instructions. ✌🏻 Thank you!!
Love new gadgets/tools to make things easier. After seeing that multi-tool, literary jump on Amazon and ordered. Also good to know it actually doesn't matter which direction to remove / install the rear Glock sight, been going by what many others have been saying that you must remove direction Left to Right and install Right to Left, was thinking it had to do something with the slide dove tail, but I've measured it with calipers and couldn't tell any difference in size either side. But out of habit, will probably still do it just this way.. lol.
Can I measure by eye when I install the rear sight? I thought it should be somehow very precisely. I thought the smallest deviation will affect the accuracy and i would need some "special" tool...
After 👀 this I'm upset with myself, paying for nothing to have my factor sight's removed 😠 😡❗ This is one reason why I like Glocks. Working on them is fundamental. I will be giving The Glock store a call on this note 👏🤝
If these sights are like the TFX PRO, they will require a combat hold and "equal light." Equal height will be between the tops of the dots, not the tops of the front post the rear notch.
Your local gun store that isn't a hole in the wall likely has an optics section or counter. Take your gun to them and ask them to center it. They'll use some *much* more expensive tools to get it lined up. Depending on what they would charge for a full rear sight install, it may be wise to skip buying your own sight pusher in favor of them doing it right each time. I tried to install some Ameriglos myself via the pounding method and could only get the rear sight in halfway due to the very tight tolerances. My store charged me $5 to finish what I'd started and center it. 🤷♀️
I find most semi auto pistols break down the same way and as far as changing the sights its50/50 on the front its either a screw or dove tail the screw is usually the real flat glock type so one screwdriver will cover everything and there magnetic so it doesn't get lost wgen i teplace the dove tails i all most aleays have to file the new sights to fine tune them.
Hello, I am reaching out to inquire about the availability of a customized slide with a red dot optic adaptation for my Glock G25, 5th Generation, chambered in .380 ACP. I have conducted research on reputable manufacturers, including: Glock (OEM) Zev Technologies Agency Arms Lone Wolf Distributors Strike Industries Overwatch Precision Vickers Tactical (Tango Down) Unfortunately, I was unable to find a compatible slide or any specific information related to my firearm model. Would you be able to point me to a company or manufacturer that produces slides or components compatible with the Glock G25 Gen 5 (.380 ACP)? Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and expertise. I look forward to your response.
Note that on that front sight, it has the loctite already on it. It is the blue that you see on the threads. Also, blue loctite is removable. Do no use red loctite! It is permanent. You would need to apply heat to remove the screw.
That particular site pusher sucks! I had it and tried t change the sites on my Sig P365 and it wouldn’t even budge them! The threads on the pusher started stripping out and caused metal chards. I returned it
You forgot the crucial step to go shoot the gun and see how you are grouping your shots! My local gunsmith is at a store with a range and before he loctites the rear sight he’ll shoot on a rest 10 shots just to make sure the sights are dead on. Gun manufacturers also do this so I try to get night sights from the factory.
Use BLUE thread locker if you ever intend on taking it back off again. Do NOT use the RED unless you want to basically weld the screw in and never want to get it back off.
great info that's a must have for maintenance and modifications but I'm sticking with the factory sights (I can afford to buy TG-H3's🖕🏿😒) "live by the sword & die by the sword." #4-UP
No. It’s not a gen 5 nor is it MOS. Gen 5 have front slide serrations and MOS models have a pre cut slide making it “optic ready”.. there’s no cut out on the slide or front serrations on this side arm so no… not gen 5 mos
Guys, please use calipers. Do not trust your eye to center the rear sight. Changing sights can change your grouping. Please use calipers to perfect the centering of your new rear sight or have an experienced gunsmith do this.
Personally, I really appreciate Lenny's form for teaching and instruction. However, I digress, I REALLY think he could cut these videos in half of the time presented if he wasn't redundant as much. Not a complaint... Just could be a bit more time efficient.
Want to ask Lenny if there’s a special tool to remove the front sight for a Gen 2 Glock. This one does not have a screw but kind of staked or pinned in. Or anyone out there who has a Gen 2 Glock and has experienced this please chime in. This is one of the earlier Glocks from the 90’s. Thanks.
*20 minutes in watching him hit the rear sight with a hammer* I'm over here with digital calipers and a laser bore sight feeling like maybe I'm over thinking this.
Love Lenny's calm; patient explanation and teaching skill
I met Lenny at the San Diego store about 4 years ago. What you see on your screen is what you get in person.✌🏾
I seen him at the condom store too.
He slays as much as me.
Lenny is like that uncle you didn't know you needed. You know the cool uncle who's got a bunch of glocks.
Ya
Fun Fact- Uncle Lenny used to be a porn star too. 😂 nbs he was pounding out skinny blondes on vhs tapes in the 80’s and 90’s 😂😂
He’s hard not to love
Oh I know I need him as my uncle...
I was just thinking how grateful I am to him for sharing his depth of knowledge so freely.
This fellow is a master teacher, master communicator, and master salesman!
Communication is key. If you can communicate and speak well. You'd be surprised how well you can get a point across.
Master baiter🤔😂😂

Hey @GlockStore! You should make a video where you max out a Glock with all your best accessories to make the perfect Glock. Preferably a MOS. Thanks
I have that exact sight pusher tool. It works great and is very well made. I've used it on one of my Glocks as well as a Hellcat.
Really impressed with Glock Store as a whole.
Me too. I store all his vudeos on my Glock Accessory page
Neat little tool, I taper ground an old socket to change mine out and a plastic dowel and hammer on the rear. Great video!

It's fun how much I already know all of this, but I am still attentively watching him teach us. Just too fun to skip around
Exactly how I feel.
Lenny the best instructor I have ever seen on youtube. Always fascinating presentations. Really
enjoyed this one. Many thanks!🙏 🙏🙏🤠
man.. i gotta say, i love having these videos play in the background when i'm working form home. Super calming for some reason.

Make sure you get the blue Lock-tite™️. The red is permanent, the blue is for things you may want to remove in the future.
A little dot of Loctite goes a long way.
Excellent point! BLUE Loctite ONLY!! 👍👍👍🤠
Red is for your enemies lug nuts.
Lenny is the Bob Ross of the gun world.
He really is 😎
I once made a brass dovetail shaped punch to move sights. Slightly smaller than the dovetail. Worked fine.
Actually the experimental sight looks amazing! Looks like a very hi visibility sight in any lighting conditions!
Another great informative video. I need to purchase a few items from your store. This will be added to the list.
Whether you're upgrading for better accuracy or just for a fresh look, swapping out iron sights is a satisfying DIY project
or dreadful lmaooo
Bot account leaving generic comments.
A universal sight pusher is the way to go. It's a great investment to install and adjust sights safely and accurately.
Can I measure by eye when I install the rear sight? I thought it should be somehow very precisely. I thought the smallest deviation will affect the accuracy and i would need some "special" tool...
me: *doesn't own a Glock*
also me: *enjoys watching this guy work on Glocks*
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Love your instructional videos Lenny, would love to sit over a beer and talk guns with you...
Great videos, great company- thanks!!
I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket parts, I prefer to run stock. But I love watching these videos.
Understood. The only modification I'd seriously consider would be iron sights.
The goal post sights are a nightmare. I completely suck with them. Lol Ruger security 9.
Ran those truglo sights for a while on a 17. Really good bang for the buck in my opinion.
The only way to go half the price of everybody else and better quality
Good stuff. Thank you Lenny.
I have a Gen3 Glock 26. The front sight doesn't have a factory screw. Can you show how to remove that front sight to replace it with a better sight?
10:56 FAXXX they be going over crazy 🤣🤣

Lenny I would have been nice if you would have put a link to the sights in the description ----- I looked on the website ---where are they?
We aren’t able to link straight to our website here on RUclips. Use SKU 20366 in the search bar.
@@glockstorewhat is the tool called you using on the front sight
The front sight screw can be taken off with a pair of tweezers, bad form but it can be done
💥Yeah can you PLEASE make an iron rear goal post sight OEM replacement for the 43x!!! That would be awesome thanks 🙏🏼🙌🏼
If these sights are like the TFX PRO, they will require a combat hold and "equal light." Equal height will be between the tops of the dots, not the tops of the front post the rear notch.
Good non judgemental teaching. From elementary to PhD
How do we know when the sight is considered "centered" aside from eyeballing it? I guess I have to bring this tool to the range for adjustments?

What kind of loctight do you prefer
I have the G19X. I want to upgrade my guide rod to the Tungsten guide rod. My question is do I buy the guide rod for the G19?
I recommend that you test the sight and correct the position before using the glue. Eng. RF

Is it good to have a silencer on your home defense handgun? I don't want to blow my ears out if I ever need to use it?
I love your voice, it puts me to sleep.
Factory plastic sights*
Shorter/lighter slide(G26/G43X) on tungsten Glock frame = less reciprocating mass + Steel rear and front sight = Glock perfection
Tungsten glock frame, 🧐

Great content but I'd love to see you edit this down a bit. It's a little tedious to watch all the tiny adjustments. We get the idea. Thanks!
Blue Loctite is your friend
A little drop is all you need.👌🏽
this is something you can do on non MOS glocks?
Which sights are these on the glockstore page?
SKU 20366
I didn’t know Glock came with factory “iron” sights… lol

Thanks! remember, get the blue locktite not the red if you want to be able to remove it again!
@GlockStore do these sights fit a 43x?
There is a Slimline option, yes.
LENNY! Tell Derek that General Bush will rise again! He might get a laugh and remember the good ol days.
I have these exact sights. Originally they are $60 online but I got mine in store for $50
Great video.
Very cool Lenny !!!
What are some options for Glock 43x? It has a fixed front sight unfortunately.
None that I’ve seen
I put trijicon night brites on my 43x. I don’t think it has a fixed front sight.
bought the exact same sight pusher and the inserts for the slide don’t fit into the notches. anyone else have this problem?
Is this a glock 19 gen 5 mos?
No. It’s not a gen 5 nor is it MOS. Gen 5 have front slide serrations and MOS models have a pre cut slide making it “optic ready”.. there’s no cut out on the slide or front serrations on this side arm so no… not gen 5 mos
Not to be mean but I think it’s pretty obvious it’s not😅 MOS is very noticeable and so are the gen 5 slides

Can we get a promo code uncle Lenny ?😅
Great learning materal
def not a flathead screw. Looks more like a hex-nut that hopefully a small socket set can reach and get the job done.
Yeah!
Loctite 242?
What about your carry gun?
SO IT REALLY DOESNT MATTER WHICH WAY YOU PUSH?? EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT ANSWER IT SEEMS.
Its not a flat head screw. Its closer to a hex bolt
What kind of loctite?
Blue
Wise words from Lenny: “Observe the hole”
Good video.
Cosmic level product placement and marketing. Here is the SKU number for the paper clip holding my notes together😂
I mean it is a retail business first.
Direct links in the comments or description please.
I did mine the "cheap" way without the sight tool, no issues. Came out dead on & confirmed by a range officer
Same smh 🤦♂️
Yeah the sites are cheap but by the time you buy all the tools you're out another hundred bucks
Awesome
Blue loctite and wait 24 hours before return to service.
*20 minutes in watching him hit the rear sight with a hammer* I'm over here with digital calipers and a laser bore sight feeling like maybe I'm over thinking this.
Why don’t y’all just put the good sights on the Glock from the factory. That would be sweet 😂
why not use tape over the part you are hammering? what is this?
Snake oil Lenny back at it again with a standard multi tool talking like it will make you shoot through time and space
Title of vid must not be talking about Glock…their factory sights are plastic
…….🤦🏾♂️😭😅🤷🏾♂️ “iron” “sights” funny
