Hi Robert, I have now done about 63k miles in 4.5 years so cannot comment on a 100k vehicle. The service intervals are at about 20+k miles. All they do is change the air filters for the aircon and replace the battery coolant. It costs about £160, much cheaper that ICE vehicle of same mileage. I have never needed brake pads or discs or any other replacements other than tyres. Still the best car I ever had in 55 years of driving.

That’s very helpful for me as I’m currently looking at second-hand e-trons. Thank you for sharing.
After 60,000 miles, the rear motor on our 2019 e-tron 55 failed, resulting in a repair cost of £8,970.18. Electric Motors shouldn't fail this early, and a quick internet search reveals this is not an isolated issue. When I contacted Audi UK Head Office for assistance, they were unhelpful. To make matters worse, a female representative laughed when I mentioned leaving a negative review. My advice would be to avoid electric cars without extended warranty.
My rear motor went within the 3 year warranty and it cost me nothing. Audi dealer gave me an extra two years warranty for free as well. That covered the first five years and 71000 miles. I have just extended the warranty for another year for £650 which I am only doing because I have an early version and I want to cover the rear motor just in case. Still a great car.
I have been the owner of an identical car to the one in this review for 20 months and have done 28k miles and everything you say is spot on about the car and charging. Simply the best car I have ever had in over 50 years. I have taken it to central France twice using the charging system recommendations installed in the satnav. That system is worth a review of its own. A most excellent and accurate review.
That's awesome to hear - I was afraid to take it as a company car, not sure with the charging infrastructure. Maybe the next one will be the e-tron, I do like it. My wife has a Hyundai Kona Electric, so we are slowly making our way :)
Hi @allanpeters6452 contemplating looking further into one of these. Out of interest, how is the charging infrastructure in France ? Is there a specific map/app which shows the locations ? Thanks
@@cbsoon9308 Sorry for the delay, I never received a notification about your question. I have now had the car since July 2019 (over 4 years) and have done 60,000 miles. I have found no difference with the battery at all, in fact I have learned how to manage it even better and I now (in the summer anyway) have a greater mileage available to me. When I bought the car they guaranteed the battery would be 90% of its original power after 8 years and we would seem to be on that trajectory.
@@adamchadwick5171 Hi Adam, I have not been to France since with my dogs due to the costs imposed by bloody Brexit but even two years ago there was a very good charging system being implemented on their main routes and in towns etc. The Apps a found two years ago, there will be more now, are: Sodetrel Mobile, Smoov, Freshmile, and Ionity. In truth the car tells you where they are for the whole of Europe and for many an indication of their availability. I hope this helps.
Weird how we all have different views - I drive an ETron and one of the main reasons I went for it was that, inside and out, it looks like a normal SUV and not an EV.
Funny because I want others to know that I'm driving an EV. The only way I can tell with a Benz, or E-Tron and the rest is to see if that thing in the front is a real air grill or a fake air grill. Doesn't matter though because whether it's at a charger or off a red light the only time I see those other EVs grills is in my rearview mirror.
I say hello from Norway. Europe's most car-electrified country😉 I really appreciate your way of showing tests of electric cars. Journalists usually only have a few hours in the car, and then speak. Here you get statements from someone who has the car in everyday use. By the way, love your way of presenting. Hope your channel grows to new heights! 👍🏻
You are very quickly turning into my favourite EV you tuber, sir. I like the tone, i like the knowledge, I like the fact based reporting and hands on experience. Please keep up the good work (and please review the Enyaq asap especially in comparison to the id4!) Thanks!
Thanks for kind words. I’ll do what I can to get my hands on one ASAP. I’m not press so I have to either buy or borrow... but this growing support may well help me get in there with press departments over time? I’ll try! Thanks again for your support 🤝

Loved that you tried the car for some time and provided your thoughts unlike some others who tries to influence after driving for few min/hours. As an etron owner I, more or less, agree with all of your perspectives. It is an excellent car, comfortable and powerful. Long distance travel is bit of a challenge in the US as you have to plan it a bit more. But for 95% of my travel which is in the city and charged at home, I would prefer the comfort and ride quality. Keep up the good work!
great follow up after living with the car. I'm picking up my 2022 Q4 etron in two days. This after over 3 years with my Tesla Model3 extended range. I live in SoCal, so no real weather impacts on distance. I will say for me, real world is 240 miles at best after 3 years. Looking forward to the change and your video's have been helpful.
Yeah they install a big battery but you can only charge it to 80%, its a little trick that audi does good for daily drivers Slightly shorter range and power, but much faster charging Another great video btw
You can charge it to 100% as much as you like but it is not necessary and more expensive for everyday driving. I charge to 1000% about 12 times a year for longer journeys.
Another grate video. The Supercharger network was the dealbreaker for me. Too many nightmare scenarios with the regular charging networks. Glad to here they are getting better although I will believe it when I see it.
Great video, have a 55 my self and after 26.000km its still incredible.. At 8:30 you mention how it doesnt look electric, which in my opinion is actually one of the pros of this car. most electric cars, especially japanese once and mercedes, look really ugly and freaky, like they are trying to prove something. The e tron is the only ev that looks like a normal car, and one of the only good looking evs. For ice car owners its an easier transition. And in most cases its easier on the eye than other evs, except the GT and taycan obviously. New model s is pretty too
💯 I have always asked myself why I can't buy just a normal looking Audi A6 wich woul be electric 😉 All the other car makers they lose so many customers just by choosing to go with a different design!
If I were able to home charge and had the extra cash, I think the E-tron would be the one I'd pick. However I love the tech of the Tesla and the Superchargers would be a necessity for my use. A great look around a superb car Rich thanks 🙂👍🏻 But yeh, it would seem a lot of work is needed on the network to get charging done more easily and without having to have every app signed in. Like plenty of ppl have said, once you lose mobile phone signal the app is useless and you are better with a physical card I think anyway. I have had loads of app issues over the years with login issues or updates breaking app's and all sorts. Can't beat a card for those occasions.
Plus, as a company, Tesla is just horrible to work with. They have no experience whatsoever in working with companies and their needs and restrictions in Germany and the service is god-awful. In addition the leasing rates are terrible compare to AUDI. If they actually want to get a serious amount of cars on the road they need to fix that and be competition for the thousands of company cars in Germany.
@@andrewolff708 They don't need to be good to work with at the moment and probably quite far into the future. They are the apple of cars, people will buy them and not complain even if its bad.
Great channel, love my Etron for ride, massage is great, ventilated seats are a must in Florida, charging curve is awesome. In United States, ElectrifyAmerica is really the only option on my trips. I envy the Tesla charging network. I live in a city over 100,000 people, no fast chargers. The two DC chargers are 22 kw, and a 50 kw. But luckily I charge at home!
Have to agree with you in terms of the Instavolt rapid chargers. They are by far the best on the market. Never had an issue with them and they just work every time.
IONIQ 5 will be the next big competitor to Tesla M3 (although different market - probably broader appeal than M3). Really good on paper specs and sneak peak reviews. Looks - well that's a very personal opinion. Suggest you try that one next - maybe get an early demo sample and do a video. For my situation, I need usable 500km range minimum (310 miles), so that rules out most EV's for now, except M3 LR (get 530 kms usable when fully charged), which I purchased (found the transition from Audi's very easy, by the way). With 40kW solar panels at home, I only want to charge once a week if possible (i.e. during daytime on a weekend). Better for the environment and the hip pocket (4.5X cheaper using solar panels and 2.5X cheaper using grid, than using a superchargers). As always, great viewing.
Interesting how different everyone's perspective is. What I like best about the etron is that it doesn't announce to everyone that it is an electric car. It just looks, feels and drives like a very nice car that just happens to be electric. BP pulse are by far the best value for money especially if you sign up for a membership. Unfortunately, most of their chargers are 50KW. If you charge at a public charger more than twice a month, taking a membership is a no-brainer.
I've ordered a model 3 performance and a vorsprung etron and still waiting for both! Which is killing me!! Its great to see the videos on both while I wait and it sounds like it should be a good combo for me.
@@RSEV Thanks, and thanks for the videos too, your knowledge on EVs in general and the tests / reviews you carry out are the best I've found. Very interesting to see the different approaches companies are starting to take.
Doesn't sound like you'd be interested in saving a few bucks, but if you were, take a look at the Model 3 LR vs Performance on the carwow channel. Barely any difference and you'll save quite a bit.
@@yoric7200 I’ve seen that yes, quite interesting, clearly the same drivetrain with software limiters put on it. But I’d still get it for that extra performance, I’m used to high performance cars, so the difference for me is more noticeable off the line. But that aside, I like the styling and the addition of track mode for when I want to really play. It might seem silly to some, but I’m definitely the target audience for the performance model! 😂
Brilliant video, really informative and well presented. Can I also add I rang your dealership today to ask a question in regard to the difference between the model 3 performance and the model 3 long range in terms of ride quality. The lady that answered the phone was excellent, very informative professional and polite. Great work guys 👍
That’s Sophie, (seen in other videos). I’m happy to answer in more detail if like. In summary, performance is a little bit firmer. Combination of springs and wheel size of course. (Although the rare p- is the same as a LR). All fairly firm, but well damped.
This is a proper car review by owning it and giving impressions with hands on experience. As for the card, love the e-tron. The only few things I don't like are 1 - the range and 2- the lack of physical buttons on the dash (maybe I am old :P). But that air suspension is sent by the gods. Impressive ride and comfort. I see that the q4 fixes the details I don't like about the etron so most likely I will get that.
The Q4 E-Tron range is barely better at 241 miles vs 218 miles for the standard E-Tron. But what you sacrifice is the fit and finish quality is slightly worse, as well as the HP (295 vs 355).
Really Interesting Richard and I don't have an electric car! I often wondered what all these different chargers are like as it always striked me as a real mix even just to look at. I would say, not that I'm an expert in these matters that the biggest challenge for winning people over to electric cars, apart from the price points maybe, is range and having peace of mind they will be able to plug in and drive away without any hassle, sounds like they're getting there but still some work to do. Good job 👍
Richard, Helpful video. Can you mention how the Audi is on Maintenance. We know Tesla is minimum compared to an ICE. Is Audi as a legacy still wanting you in the dealer every 12 months regardless of mileage or have they adopted a more sensible approach? My question is really aimed at getting a better feel for TCO.
Just a reminder folks... the reason Tesla chargers are so good is because they're a CLOSED network that only Tesla vehicles can use, which allows Tesla to simplify their billing process. They have no need to concern themselves with billing people who are driving other brands. Their chargers are effectively spigots for electricity with all of the billing software built into the cars. Every other charging network is an open network that can be used to charge all EVs universally. Clearly that adds a bit of complexity just like it does at a gas station. Tesla has refused to open their network, choosing instead to use their network as a competitive advantage; with their legions of fans / shareholders claiming the universal networks aren't sufficient... most of the time without ever having used them! For Tesla to build their network has taken loads of money, often from banks, private investors, the government / taxpayers, and even other OEMs as a result of government emissions credit programs. This is money that could be going towards supporting universal charging networks instead of Tesla's closed network. Tesla's network doesn't do the overall auto industry any good in their transition to EVs, if anything it stymies it... Minor improvements in convenience from Tesla's network have lead to the spread of misinformation about the universal charging networks; claims that there aren't enough chargers or they don't always work. That's patently false. There are loads of universal chargers up across Europe and the US, and more being added every day. They may require a cell phone app to be setup, but once done, you're good to go. They may be slightly more involved to use, and by that I mean it may take a person 30-60 additional seconds to start their charge. No, it isn't almost instant like a Tesla, but it's also not an issue. I point this out because IMO closed fueling networks are a terrible idea, and if other brands were to follow suit, it would be a large waste of resources in having every brand have to produce and install their own charging stations all over the place. Do we prefer 10+ completely separate closed brand specific chargers every 50 miles along the highways, or would it make more sense to have just a few competing universal charging stations? Do we want all fueling prices controlled by the OEMs that sold us the cars, or by competing universal charging companies?
Watching loads of videos around electric cars, this was a great video on the audi e tron, just wish you had done the skoda as well in another video as that's the 2 I'm looking at. Fantastic video
Try this Skoda Enyak Review. Also done a couple on ID4 incl real range test and they’re the same under the skin.: ruclips.net/video/gYHoiMiCKCU/видео.htmlsi=N78-LLJVUAZh8Qdz
BP Pulse have a good network, particularly around the Bedford/Milton Keynes area that I live in. However on the few occasions I've had reason to speak to them, their customer service is woefully understaffed. Its routine to be left on hold for 15 - 20 mins before someone answers. Hopefully they'll get their act together.
I had 2 Audis so far. Now owning sq7. Thinking now on getting etron-the same type as the one you are reviewing. I don’t like Tesla build quality. So your video here is kind of a decider for me. Thank you, Sir! I’m not inclined to buying new q8 etron. I’ll indeed try first with returned from leasing etron (2020 model). Thanks again!
How reliable has it been. My friend has had a terrible time with his. It even completely shut down on him on a dual carriage way. Door mirrors had to be replaced. plus various other faults and niggles. Also surprisingly the dealer was awful
That’s a shame to hear. This has been fine, just a segment of that wide tail light has flickered before, audi said known issue and ordered the part. Gets fitted next week. Dealer super helpful and attentive. All good 👍
I dont see any need to tell everybody else I am driving an EV, its nobody else's business how my vehicle is propelled so I like the fact that the E-tron doesnt make that immediately obvious.
Great video to share your experience, still Tesla supercharger for the win, the other options on the market need to improve a lot if they want to convince the future customers.
Great Vídeo ! AI am very satisfied with my Tesla model X 90d 2017 and I always charge it at 220V! It has 20 thousand miles and I think it's better than the 1986 Toyota Bandeirande that I had before !! Very comfortable to go to the farm and work !!
I test drove this Etron and it's gorgeous. But holy moly, the price. In Canada it's 30k-35k dollars more than the ID4 AWD fully loaded. I just can't afford this car. I wonder how they will price the Q4 which is being revealed tomorrow. Thanks for the video! Get an Ioniq 5 AWD when it's available!
Yes the etron is expensive here too. Double the price of an id4. However I bought mine a year old with just 4,000 miles for the same price as a model 3 long range new....
I would like to replace my diesel Q7 with an etron but I need it for towing a 1650 kgs caravan. I would expect the range would drop from 180-200 miles to 100-120 miles when towing make a trip to France more problematic. Have you ever towed with an electric car? This is the one thing holding me back from going electric. I know the etron can tow 1800 kgs and a Model X much more. Also - i think the new Skoda Enyak has potential to be a great family car. Something for you to try? Its certainly more interesting than the VW ID.4. I find most VWs very boring these days (GTI excepted). Skoda and SEAT take the excellent VW platform and make it their own.
Biggest hate I have of the M3 is ride quality is awful IMO. Too harsh. Given the battery size I would say the range was rather poor in the Audi. I have signed up to every network I can find. Although I have a Tesla, their chargers can fail too so a backup is essential.
Charging: get the Audi e-charge service: 200 000 chargers, incl. HPC’s. You get access with the app or with the one single e-tron RFID :) Have the car fir 2 years, driven 80 000 km - so have some experience.
For you it's simple to charge but recommending other EV's to my mom who is 61yrs.. That's just to much of an hussle to get charging at all those different networks and apps and registering and paying multiple fee's... In my opinion charging has to be easy to use plug in and charge.
Excellent video! This is my dilemma : Audi Etron or Tesla Y. Audi is an easy winner after everything I’ve seen. My only hesitation is Audi do t hold value as much as Tesla .. still don’t know why:), used Tesla in the USA is more expensive or equal to a new ones… not the case with Audi.. any thoughts ? Thank you, brilliant videos!
Tempted by the Etron for refinement and comfort. Currently in a Tesla M3P. On charging... What century are the folks from who design the charging process for EV's? It is NOT rocket science..... I don't want to sign up, I don't want to register, I want to turn up, charge, pay and leave. Absolutely agree with you on the sign up nonsense.
Another great vid team! As someone who is looking for my next car to be electric, but aint a fan of Tesla, its comforting to hear the 3rd party chargers are getting much better. Can i suggest it would be good if your next car was a Merc EQC or Jag Ipace to see vids on those👍
Another excellent review by the way. Starting to really enjoy your channel immensely. Such a relaxed way you have and very informative in terms of the way you personally use these cars. Give potential owners a great sense of what it’s actually like to live with these cars. Top marks to you good sir! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic content and useful for all ev owners to sign up in advance and your personal experience of different companies. Will do exactly as you suggest.
Simple high speed charging is a requirement. Some drivers are not tech savvy, get flustered etc. It needs to be simple and in truth tesla make it so easy. The car does the work, selects the station and shows availability. They are always fast, not hidden in the back of a pub or private work place. Using a phone and filtering the options is a pain. Cost is vital! Spending alot more to buy and insure an ev means you do want cheaper travel and as more homes get an ev it wont be possible to charge at home or work. My home is currently 15p and Tesla super was at 30p but some third party chargers are 70p which is far more than petrol or diesel.
Tesla is a fully integrated service and you can still use public chargers if you need to. Tesla's virtical Integration just takes away so many headaches.
180-200 miles was what I could achieve in a Renault Zoe 3 years ago. I have an ever growing list of issues with my Model 3, most of which are caused by pointless design. Teslas are mainly designed with form over function and have many unfixable design issues.
surely if we used old language and talked about mpg, then the ratio would be Tesla LR does 60mpg and the Audi does around 35mpg.... as neither are what you'd call top end Luxury (ie. Lucid) the answer seems even more obvious. For anyone that thinks charging on the run isn't important, well i was running late today and having to charge nearly 50% fewer times would make a huge difference.
I think you explain things very well But for me the electric cars and all charging stations seems to be very confusing and not straight forward Give it another few more years and they will hopefully get it right
Good video. I think Tesla has lit a fire under some of the other manufacturers - they know they can’t just survive on their laurels - they have to play their A game when it comes to EV. Seems the strong competition will be mainly in the battery space - who can come up with a battery that doesn’t consume finite resources from politically ravaged countries, batteries that provide greater range, batteries that can be easily recycled, etc. The industry will probably settle that 20 years from now - and until then it will feel like chaos. We live in interesting times.
Great video and I appreciate the insight. I have a Tesla MYLR on order, but with all the delays, its causing me to do more research and the closer we creep to 2022, I find myself wanting to wait on the Tesla and test drive other EVs. After this video, I do plan to test drive the 2022 Audi E-Tron Q4 when it gets to the States. I am pretty torn between the two vehicles as I spend a good amount of time commuting, so want a comfortable, quiet ride, but I also love technology. Thank you so much for these great videos!
Hi is there any chance you can review the Audi Q4 40 e tron S Line please, I have recently ordered one and I would like a factual review ie charging and real world tests. There’s lots of reviews out there but not as in-depth as your reviews. Keep the content coming it’s very informative and entertaining?
Hard to get much to try right now. I’ve a couple videos with the ID4 and of course they share much of the same components. One of those videos is driving the ID4 from edinburgh back to Bournemouth
"... it's too easy with a Tesla to sit back and just use those Superchargers.. " and " ... but you kinda have to do a little bit of work with it sometimes, it's like anything ... " Those are your best quotes on how those 3rd party chargers are sort of, kinda like, maybe, perhaps on a good day comparable. "It's like anything" when it's really NOT like anything Tesla offers. You forgot to mention that because most/all non-Tesla get nowhere near the range you are going to have to be visiting those third party chargers a whole lot more often. I get the feeling Tesla doesn't try to screw its customers on charging rates either. I know they can't all be a Tesla but those OEMs aren't trying very hard. The LEAST they could have done is incorporate those third party networks into their navigation screens but, alas, they were too lazy or cheap to do that for their customers. Sucks to be them.
I like that it just looks like a car. Why would I want it to stand out as an EV. You know what they say. How do you know someone drives an EV? They’ll tell you.
A model x with 22” alloys is similar in terms of efficiency, maybe a tad better, but not much in it. The range is better as more useable capacity on the Tesla. Recharging is slower in the Tesla but the supercharger network makes it easy
Good review. To each their own but I disagree on the looks. I quite like the fact that this car doesn't scream "hey I am an EV!" I don't particularly like the look of most EV's. IMO they are trying too hard to look different. I am looking forward to more EV's hitting the market with nice subtle styling instead of so much in your face look at my 2040 futuristic styling. Personal taste I guess.
No problems with the electronic wing mirrors fogging up so that they don’t work until they have dried out? No problems with the roof leaking inside the footwell of the car? Thanks for the great reviews 😉👍🏻
@@chandreshpatel unfortunately, their customer service needs improving and they haven’t taken responsibility for the design fault as far as I know. Which is pretty bad when you consider the amount of money involved and the fact that new ideas are normally prone to teething problems. Especially if the vehicle was less than three months old from being bought from new. 🙄😳🤭.
The Tesla is bought because of its software nothing else . Not much space in the trunk in the 3 model .The Q model is the best buy compared to the 3 model
Thanks for sharing your personal experience of EV charging. Some people have mentioned in videos that some free charging is available. Have you come across any?
@@djwarren5081 Engie chargers in WEST Yorkshire are free until October 2021. 50kW max but v handy. My etron has done 2500miles since new mostly on Engie's free network!
I've had poor reliability with two Audis, so I would not buy anything made by them. I would not trust the longevity of the Audi fast-charging to the hilt. I also think the E-tron is way behind Tesla in technology, and I frankly like the Tesla simple interior design better.
Please try charging this e-tron at the new GRIDSERVE revamped ELECTRIC HIGHWAY 12 high power 350kW chargers at Rugby Motorway Services at Junction 1 off the M6.
How can you drive an EV and not have an RFID chip? I mean, who does that really? Also, Ionity is a network that's primarily there for the members, and they do pay a lot less. In fact, if you use them via your car manufacturer, they are among the most affordable. With Nissan, you pay 30 Euro-Cents a kWh i.e.. Fee is 13 Euro a month, but you get three years free when purchasing or leasing a new Nissan EV. Hyundai has similar deals and a lot of others as well.
I’m in between. Stage of selling my lovely Audi A6 black edition with all the toys only because of ULEZ and mileage I’ve done. The fuel economy is amazing, 3L V6 TDI 36 round town to 43/44 long run. My concern is the travel distance, you say the 55KW E-trim would get about 200 miles out of the charge. When I get to a charging point how long does it take to get from say 10% to 100% or 90% and roughly what cost would it be?
I know almost nothing about the subject but i happen to know that those that drive long distances charge only so much they get to the next charging station (remaining range 100-200 km), in order to spend as little time as possible waiting and because the first 50% of the charge is charged the fastest. The more you charge the longer you have to wait, and you never charge above 90 because the last 10% will damage the batteries due to heat.
@@iam5085 You are correct about how the other manufacturers batteries work, but the first gen Etron (2019-2022) has rather a special battery chemistry that is better than others. Certainly going from 0 to 80% is very quick. There are RUclips videos demonstrating this capability.
Matrix headlights RIP in the US useless option there...They’ll never be legal there. Curious if the Audi range was noticeably less than Tesla, were you able to test it in cold weather range as well? I’ve heard Etron charging has some issues (not just superchargers) did you experience any problems with actual charging?
Hi Robert, I have now done about 63k miles in 4.5 years so cannot comment on a 100k vehicle. The service intervals are at about 20+k miles.
Facts mate, the same for me… but then you get INSIDE and it’s like you are sitting in Captain Picards chair.

Yeah they install a big battery but you can only charge it to 80%, its a little trick that audi does good for daily drivers
Slightly shorter range and power, but much faster charging
Another great video btw
Your math is well off if 86.5 kWh would be just 80 %?!
Tesla dropped the ball not bringing the MY to Europe quicker, M3 just doesn't have enough space.
Yeah they could not make enough even when they were making 10 times more than anyone ...shame
Please include for rest of the world watching the video outside the UK.
Brilliant video. Covering "everything" about the car. Thank you
saw a lovely blue etron with big alloys. its easily one of the nicest looking evs around.
Thanks for a great video. I'd like to see a video on the 2021 updated "I Pace", more range, faster charging etc, etc.
Thanks
Great channel, love my Etron for ride, massage is great, ventilated seats are a must in Florida, charging curve is awesome. In United States, ElectrifyAmerica is really the only option on my trips. I envy the Tesla charging network. I live in a city over 100,000 people, no fast chargers. The two DC chargers are 22 kw, and a 50 kw. But luckily I charge at home!
Wait until you try the car on a >150kw charger 👌
Sorry about those EA chargers or lack thereof but at least your butt is cooled. First things first.
Agreed I like not announcing it’s EV especially this environment.
I've ordered a model 3 performance and a vorsprung etron and still waiting for both! Which is killing me!! Its great to see the videos on both while I wait and it sounds like it should be a good combo for me.
Great combo! Two very different cars to drive. Both fantastic. 👍
Love the music and light footage at the end with all the lights on the e-tron. Classy touch to the end of what was a pretty enjoyable watch.
Good job 👍
The outro B'Roll is savage, sub just for that!
I like the relaxed and informative style of these videos. Great stuff. Thank you.
Watching loads of videos around electric cars, this was a great video on the audi e tron, just wish you had done the skoda as well in another video as that's the 2 I'm looking at.

The best review for Audi e Tron 💯😉💪
BP Pulse have a good network, particularly around the Bedford/Milton Keynes area that I live in. However on the few occasions I've had reason to speak to them, their customer service is woefully understaffed. Its routine to be left on hold for 15 - 20 mins before someone answers. Hopefully they'll get their act together.
“It’s not clear it’s an electric car”. And that’s the best part of the exterior look!
All good 👍
@@RSEV I forgot to add that his carpets were wet due to sunroof drainage issues which also affected the electrics
You’re a natural presenter 👍👍👍
@@RSEVnice:) slightly used Etron can be had really cheap.
The ultimate isolation / relaxation ev. It’s too bad the range isn’t longer for long US road trips.
Biggest hate I have of the M3 is ride quality is awful IMO. Too harsh. Given the battery size I would say the range was rather poor in the Audi. I have signed up to every network I can find. Although I have a Tesla, their chargers can fail too so a backup is essential.
Yes it would be nice if the m3 had a slightly soften ride and better sound insulation for road noise.
Etron is the more luxury, sumptuous car..
y will be more efficient and has the Tesla charger network…

Time for a refreshed Model S, plaid of course. Give us a real world review of the yoke steering please.
Anyone spot a similarity in presentation, mannerisms and tone to a younger Harry’s garage? PS No greater praise for those who don’t know.
What’s the maintenance cost like?
Tesla is a fully integrated service and you can still use public chargers if you need to. Tesla's virtical Integration just takes away so many headaches.
Hi , Good review of the Etron, Could you please tell me which Trim level this Etron is please ?
180-200 miles was what I could achieve in a Renault Zoe 3 years ago. I have an ever growing list of issues with my Model 3, most of which are caused by pointless design. Teslas are mainly designed with form over function and have many unfixable design issues.
sry, what issues you have?
Hiya, what is the name of the app that connects to the Etron? Thanks
Enjoyed your video, thanks. Do you do accessory installation i.e. ambiance lighting for Tesla model Y?
surely if we used old language and talked about mpg, then the ratio would be Tesla LR does 60mpg and the Audi does around 35mpg.... as neither are what you'd call top end Luxury (ie. Lucid) the answer seems even more obvious.
For anyone that thinks charging on the run isn't important, well i was running late today and having to charge nearly 50% fewer times would make a huge difference.
I think you explain things very well
But for me the electric cars and all charging stations seems to be very confusing and not straight forward
Give it another few more years and they will hopefully get it right
Thanks for the update on charging networks.
Thanks👍👍👌👌 from Denmark, try Polestar 2😊😊
Very informative. Yes always loved Instavolt the best. Be great to see what you think of the 28 and 38 kWh ioniqs.
Yep they work and simple to use, the way all other chargers should.
Great video And thanks for the info!!!!!
Least the runner ups and buy a Tesla.
How about a review of the Audi E-Tron Sportsback SUV?
According to Sandy Munroe a Skoda Enyaq does everything the Audi does for a lot less.
Your reviews are all very good, i really enjoy them, thank you. (Recent convert to EV)
Hi is there any chance you can review the Audi Q4 40 e tron S Line please, I have recently ordered one and I would like a factual review ie charging and real world tests. There’s lots of reviews out there but not as in-depth as your reviews.

"... it's too easy with a Tesla to sit back and just use those Superchargers.. " and " ... but you kinda have to do a little bit of work with it sometimes, it's like anything ...
Hmm thinking about trading in my 3 LR from 2019 and try this with the small battery. I don't need much range and would like to try the luxury drive.

everything you describe is just typical Audi quality :)
I wonder how it compares to the Tesla model x 2021 refresh.
I set my budget at £25k for my next car. I’ve been looking at hybrids, but never realised this car was in my budget too..! It’s stunning..!!!
No problems with the electronic wing mirrors fogging up so that they don’t work until they have dried out?
No problems with the roof leaking inside the footwell of the car?
Thanks for the great reviews 😉👍🏻
Interesting! I didn't know about these issues which I presume are common? Do Audi have a fix for them?
@@chandreshpatel unfortunately, their customer service needs improving and they haven’t taken responsibility for the design fault as far as I know.

Some slight issues with the sound, but might be on my end. Anyway an excellent review, and where the sausages vegetarian? 😁
From the future 😊. Jul 2023. Just bought an Audi Q8 E Tron in California with digital matrix LED headlights
