Great video. They are really nice weapons. I have two 629's. The 629 PC Stealth Hunter and the 5" 629 Classic.
This is one of those guns I regret selling. I had one 7 years ago. Shot amazing. I sold it for some other crap I no longer have now and kinda regret letting go of some of my performance center revolvers.

Hi Buddy. With all the love in the world I can send you, what mounting plate did you use to mount the red dot to your SH? I have a Competitor and I cannot find a mounting plate for an SRO. 🤷♂️
I used the low rise mounting plate that came with the Vortex Venom red dot.

I used the mount that came with the Vortex Venom. It fit the rail that was already on the Stealth Hunter.
Your scope fogs up after 5shots from the porting.
Which is better this revolver or the 629 6" competitor weighted barrel
I personally like the Competitor better because the adjustable weighted barrel is fairly unique. Not too many production revolvers have that feature. But that doesn't mean it's the "better" gun. The Stealth and the Competitor are both high quality revolvers. So, it will come down to personal preference.
What do you prefer? The Stealth Hunter or Performance Center Hunter (with the full compensator and picatinny rail)? Which trigger, recoil, feel is better?
I'd actually love to know this as well as I'm on the fence between the two!

They do, it's called the 460 on the x frame. 460 revolvers can shoot 45 long colt, 454 casull, and 460 magnum.
True, but They should make an inbetween size like a beefed up N frame. Say the N frame is large and given the X frame is massive like a double or triple XL, they could make say an “O-Frame” and chamber it in 480 ruger, 454 casull, and 475/500 linebaugh. Basically a ruger super redhawk competitor but in a S&W form factor like the PC stealth hunter, considering how valuable SRHs already are they would probably sell a whole lot even at around 1800 msrp. In-plus they’d look a whole lot better. The only thing is rugers are more well known for their mettularly, rifle like pressure tolerance, reinforced cylinders and wall strength, so that’s probably why such a weapon doesn’t exist.
I noticed the front sight is sticking out to the left quite a bit. Did you notice that? I was looking at the Stealth Hunter at the gun shop the other day. Everything looked good but then I noticed the front sight was lose. So lucky I didn't buy it.
Looking at the video, it does indeed look like the front sight is pushed to the left quite a bit. I looked at the revolver just now and the front sight is centered. I'm guessing that the lighting is creating a weird optic illusion. Anyways, at about 5:05 in the video you can see me turn the revolver on it's side. It's a very brief moment, and it does go a bit blurry. But you can see that the front sight is centered.

Is the barrel weighted?
No, it doesn't have the barrel weight system like on the 629 Competitor.
Is this new model for 2020
@@richarddelrosario743 . The one in this video is not a 2020 model. But I don't think the Stealth Hunter has changed any for 2020.
Can you remove those blemishes on the cylinder?
Probably. But I left them on in fear of accidentally wearing down the finish underneath.
