Chef seems like he is having more fun than ever lately. The camera work and editing is getting so seamless. The team gags - transsss huuman fiziolloggyyyy - are fun. The paint on nearly every model is top notch. Can't wait to see where it goes in the new studio!

Awesome Batrep and its great to see some new life breathed into both orks and space marines. AoC seems to have straightened out SM for now but I hope orks get a bit more love in the upcoming dataslate. You'd think the fact that Snagga Grapple costs 2 CP and can only be used by Beast Snagga boyz, would automatically prevent fallback. Ork stratagems in general need more granularity, too many 2 CP strats that are appropriately costed when used on max size squads but cost waaay too much to use on say a squad of 10 or less. It'd be great to see this and the egregious morale issues addressed soon. Keep up the great work guys.

Just an orky tip. If you’re giving your nobz big choppaz swap out their sluggas for choppaz as well, the attacks are a lot more reliable.

I'm a fairly new subscriber, but I'm loving that Saturday is Battle Report Day for me now. Keep up the excellent work everyone! I particularly enjoy the all xenos games as they're just that bit extra different. Hopefully we'll see some more soon. But for now, cup of tea, sit back and enjoy some carnage.

Funny thing is, Black Templars have the same „No falling back“ stratagem that at least as far as i remember costs only 1 CP
At this point transhuman is co common that it may as well just be a universal rule for Space Marines. The only thing that makes it bearable is your lampooning of it. Keep up the good work gents!

I would love to see some White Scar Heavy Intercessors with the Hellstom Bolt Rifles. Run and gun with 3 str 5 shots and toughness 5 would work well I think.

@@thepastrychef8014 I desperately want to see more chonky boys in battle reports. I am waiting for the day done makes an all t5 or higher list. Gravis armor. Primaris Chaplain on bike. Dreadnoughts and/or Invictor war suits. Honestly I think str4 shooting and t4 doesn't really cut it anymore.
when using BBK and an Attack Squig you can actually (and actually have too because the attack squig says it can *only* make 2 attacks) put the failed attacks back into the warboss's weapon as they aren't separate models and BBK doesn't say you have to use the same profile that failed. Hilariously with the BBoS if you get the mortal wounds with the Squigasaur those attacks are also put back into the model as the attack sequence ends so it never reaches the inflict damage step

I can't find anything that says you can't use Orks is never beaten and still explode aswell but exploding was fairly unlikely anyway so I have no problem with how you played it.

Might be me, but have space marine doctrines been applied even once in this game? Not always relevant against orks of course, but with things like assault bolt rifles and such it can help quite a bit.
Edit: White Scars' Devastating Charge assault doctrine for extra damage can be quite relevant actually.

How many point would be balanced to upgrade an outrider’s chain swords to a power sword or thunder hammer? With the number of attacks available 5 points of the sword would be too cheap. 10 feels like a lot, but is likely closer to the mark. Thunder hammers would need to be 20 similar to assault intercessors. 6 thunder hammer attacks for for 55 points does sound wild and might be too few.

Chef no need to roll off for the mortal wounds on the Shokkjump Dragsta anymore. The most recent FAQ changed the wording to give the mortal wounds to the unit, not the bearer.
I think this was before then, or at least I'd glossed over it 😅 Good to know for next time!

AP-1 is bad against marines, but Ork Nobz with big choppas just look too damn cool to run them any other way, so as far as I am concerned, I refuse to not give them big choppas. Bite me
The durability increase orks got through the invul when calling the waaagh basically bullies any list that wants to stand a chance in the current landscape into taking a warboss as the warlord. Kinda sucks for themed armies like mek hordes, dread mobz, etc. they should at least have a warlord trait for non warbosses that gives them access to waaagh, 1CP would be an okay tradeoff but not having waaagh basically means you are not doing well.
Yeah I think if you want to do speedwaagh you're forced to do a Kult of Speed now, which tbh people were likely doing anyways

With ‘I’ve got a plan lads’ does the redeploy not happen before you know who is going first? I’ve always used it as a way of owning the mid board in deployment and for putting three units into start reserves (regardless of size/PL) for a single CP.
Correct, it's start of round 1, before turn 1, so you know who goes first, but I decided just not to use it as no need
@@thepastrychef8014 sure about that? And if so has this always been the case? I had a TO rule it otherwise soon after the codex came out. The wording is different from other similar abilities. Maybe I’ve been playing it incorrectly. Or maybe it got FAQ’d?

@@TheNikmoore I read that as you must do it after all models have been deployed, before anything else such as the roll off/pre game moves etc. I've also seen the Art of War guys expressly state that the Orks redeploy is one of only 2 examples of a redeploy that happens prior to knowing who goes first.

The basic Rules are available for free on GWs website, as well as some info on armies. If you have a GW store near you they run introduction games as well so you can get a feel for the play. After that you'll want to choose an army that you like the look of, and go from there!

Sorry, i am a new player on admech... this is the first time i have watched orks play, how was the command phase less than a minute. I know that admech loves the command phase but srly NOTHING . i just started watching and already i am in shock!

For the Ork command phase you either waaagh or you don't, other than that there's a Goff forgeworld character who can make certain units hit better.
Honestly it doesn't make much senses for some factions to do a lot in the command phase. Armies like Orks shouldn't need it really because they don't exactly do battlefield commands. While Admech and Imperial Guard should make heavy use of it.
Fun game, but it is sad to see White Scars with barely any bikes...
