When Angron was first shown, was not a fan - too much like a fancy Bloodthirster. However, I did say to a buddy that often community paint jobs make a difference - and boy has Fletcher's one proven that true! I love the model with his work on it. Great bat rep too!

@@ProbablyFat he should be the strongest human character. But shouldn’t be able to go toe to toe with others in my opinion. What he should do is make your army better through his leadership. CP factory, cheaper strats, no morale and huge auras that buff etc.

He just seems like, well basically to me not a Primarch just a chapter master with a few extra rules, I dont think I've seen a batrep since his release were he actually made a huge impact. Really hope WE get a bigger model rollout later this year like the DG did. We are missing some vital units like Berzerker Dreads, Zerkers on Juggernauts, Red Hand Havocs, Red Butchers, Beastmen, and please another character sculpt
They won't do beastmen. Not when they're already got a unique cultist already. Also I doubt there will be more models this year. Even GW wouldn't sell a Codex and then release about as many models as that Codex contains which arent' in the book.

very refreshing game. many of the other batreps had the new world eaters getting absoloutely stomped. was crazy to see angron just utterly smash into the ultramarines, obliterate guilliman, and then paste the smash captain. the blood tithe mechanic is just nuts
Been waiting so long for world eaters and they seem be very powerful. The blood tithe is a good dynamic and builds so quickly.I have a squad of terminators all with lightning claws (my berserker terminators) that I'm looking forward to using. Chef waiting patiently to roll a dice for an explosion was brilliant.
14:00 thats how you get a one boring grey meta list per codex. No one will experiment outside the one optimal warlord trait and relic. If you notice EVERYONE takes warlord angron in this new book.....
Smallest complaint, I am early 100% certain those eradicators ARE modeled with heavy melta-rifles. Normal meltas don't have the tubes I am completely cool with proxies either way. I only bring it up for future reference
I feel like this was a “showcase” battle. What UltraMarine army would charge in to fight a melee army on turn 1…? Dice tell the tale, at end of day. Just saying. Good game and great fun.

I don't know how to feel against the world eaters, I have not played against any yet. But this game made them look insane, but the theme does suit them. But honestly, the paint job is magnificent as always!
As a Tau player, I am making myself wait until I have three Hammerheads and Longstrike before I even think of facing World Eaters. I'm sure you can guess who those Hammerheads are for.

This was amazing. The Bloodtithe seems very strong, and Angron seems to be well worth it. Definitely going to be picking up the Combat Patrol when that eventually releases. But I can't help but sit here and think "how are my Space Wolves supposed to compete with this?"

The paint job on Angron is outstanding; I wasn’t too sure about the model before (and that’s not meant as a fit on the official paint job because I’d love to be that good as painting) but the scheme shown in this video has sold me. Interested to see what is done with the 8 bound

Would have been nice for them to maybe bring him back in instead of the master of executions or something.

Those points reductions for the Space Marines really seem to be working out. Now there's so many more models for every other army to just shred through.
@@thepastrychef8014 This. In a competitive list, Marines are unlikely to just leave bodies in the open to be shot off the table turn 1. First, this game was not played on a competitive terrain format. Secondly, the Ultramarines list is not that competitively designed. Pair that with all the free wargear, free reserves, deepstrike and fast attack options for Marines and you can make them super strong by just trading up on damage with cheap units
The outcome was obvious, but it was a wonderful match nonetheless! Angron has been less of a complete annihilator against factions with more recent codexes, but this was a great display of what he can do unhindered. Would love to see Chef's Necrons against Angron!
This was bittersweet, World Eaters were the faction I started 40k with and Ultramarines have been my favorite faction since I started back into the hobby in 6th edition

A lot of them were from people who clearly don't play World Eaters and trying to run them like they were Primaris.
