Beard forgetting that IW ignore cover.... SMH. Also it's all forms of cover so they ignore light and dense.
Oof, I think our boys were forgetting that Terminators with SS still have a 1+ Lots of those -1 and -2 AP weapons should have still granted them a 2+ and 3+ respectively. Great game all around though!
They also totally forgot Iron Warriors ignore benefits of cover- so both light and dense dont matter

It almost looks like they are forgetting storm shields, while negating AoC, they still give +1 to armor saves effectively still giving AoC. Or am I missing something? It could be that they are moving on faster than I can comprehend, lol, and the commentary is confusing me!
I thought this too. Surely the termies would be saving on 2s because with the SS they have a 1+ sv.
Sadly, Aoc and ss don't stack, its one or the other
@@bb7115 I think they mean that even though they don't benefit from AoC, the Stormshield they have still adds +1 to save rolls, keeping them on a 2+ standard save.

Beard I honestly believe that the Laser Destroyer weapons on the spartan are better. It's less shots but it's better strength ap and damage. Just my thoughts. Love seeing the Iron Warriors played as they are my army as well

I'm graceful to have seen your Lord Discordant conversion : it had inspired me my own one, made with pieces of Defiler, bike, terminator, sorcerer staff, chainblade and doom siren.

-1 AP against a Terminator with a Storm Shield is not a 3+ save, it's still 2+, the shield gives him +1 to armor saves.

Come on beard, iron warriors legion trait. opponent doesnt recieve benefit of cover and cant reroll wounds. Quite important in turn 1

I was under the impression that Iron Warriors denied the gifts of Chaos, and replaced any limbs that were "gifted" with cybernetics.
Hence there shouldn't be an Iron Warriors looking like a freakshow.

Not yet. Jump packs or termies take two spaces, while obliterators take up 3.

How does Inner Circle make the Spartan wound on 4's? Based on the codex and the updated rules its only units with the Infantry keyword and the Spartan doesnt have that.
Inner circle relates to the deathwing, you can’t wound them on anything except 4+, so the Spartan can’t wound on 2/3’s like it should do
@@Bilboswaggins_1 I understand that. But the codex itself says that only those with the INFANTRY keyword are affected.
I also pulled up Battlescribe and decided to put a Spartan in a list and it does not have the INFANTRY keyword. And Inner Circle has that same rule there.
The infantry keyword relates to the model with inner circle, not the model attacking it.
So the terminators are infantry, so are wounded on 4s..
In contrast, Ravenwing Knights also have inner circle, but are not infantry, so when attacked, its just the standard str vs tough roll.

Hi everyone! Needing some advice, currently building my first proper army. I’ve gone imperial guard have the Cadia stands box and and box of Tempestus scions to get me going. I’ve got a custom regiment design sorted and some named characters in mind, my big question is about command squads. Can you customise them? For example could I put a couple of Scions and an Ogryn in there? And does anyone have any advice or tips in terms of the build that I should do for my army? Thanks in advanced
