    Hi there folks.
I’m the one who made this picture 19:11
Made it in Garry’s mod and edited in GIMP.
    Hope you all like it

The sons of the Khan have always fought with such freedom that many within the Imperium do not realize that they fight with such zeal that none could match it.

The Fifth Legion has always been my favorite. They are difficult to paint, this may explain that. Jaghatai was the only primarch who saw the big E for what he was: a tyrant. He also sees the need for it. To see what the so-called gods of the Warp are: rogue primordial forces, not gods. Last thing, the White Scars are philosophers, poets, calligraphers while being laugh killers. The most underrated and misunderstood legion in the Imperium. I hope for the return of the Chogoris Warhawk.

For being just supposed cold killing machines a surprising amount of them were prolific in creating arts and crafting. You don't usually see Imperial Fists with shovels and excavators, And you don't see Blood Angels with painting easels or jeweler tools but they have them. The Raven Guard were writers and philosophers, even alot of the corrupted Death Guard are gardeners and numerologists as referenced in the Lords of Silence novel.

@@RighteousInquisition I completely agree with your observation. What makes the Fifth Legion so special is that they are considered by the other Astartes to be ignorant barbarian savages.

The Khan should return, there's really no good reason for him not to return. I want him to appear at the time of the Blood Angel's greatest need and show them secret paths in the webway to get around the Great Rift.

Same, i need the Khan to return and more white scar current day lore. Sucks how just because they are hard to paint, they dont get much love

"No backward step!" - Shiban Khan after being thrown from a damn spaceport, dusting himself off and heading off to rejoin his brothers for the final battles.

And carrying a man and a baby boy. The man ended up dying but somehow the child lived. Great writing! Shiban is one of my favorite characters

Sometimes i wonder what Jaghatai Khan would do about the Mantis Warriors after their "betrayal" on the Badab War, afterall in the end they were just honoring their vows to the Astral Claws.

No worries, he allowed the traitor white scars to work As Sagyar Majan ( basically mission with high fatalities) and were allowed back after 5 such missions.

More or less what the Inquisition did to them. Their supplies and recruits were rated by the Space Sharks and they were banished from their Homeworld on a penitent Crusade.

The White Scars have a good number of successors but so few are truly fleshed out.
One would think that, due to the White Scars’ proclivity to freedom of expression there would be a wide variation in the progeny; but alas, so many are just a slight variation on WS.
Iron Talons and Dark Hunters really break this. I find them great, but still, so little lore expansion by comparison. White Scars deserve more.
I think people struggle to write them more than other chapters. Taking more inspiration from the Mongol hordes would be good, aside from nomadic and “we like riding and hit & run”
One thing I’d love to change is bring the chief stormseer to the forebear - Tigurius should not be a competitor to Mephiston for greatest imperial psyker; the Chief Stormseer should. As one of the top 3 psychically adept Legions, it makes sense. Sadly, it’s fallout from the UM Gary Stue years.

Im a Salamander fan, but White Scars should be more popular on a level of Dakr and Blood Angels.
They are just so badass abd unique.

One of my favorite short stories “The Last Detail” is about a Dark Hunter accidentally left behind and is found bye a father and son who’s world was just ravaged bye a battle. The marines brothers have left the world but chaos taint remains. Wounded and without power armor they find a way to alert his battle brothers. It’s either legends or hero’s of the space marines books.

Doomslayers?😊. I wonder, they are from Argent D'Nur or what?🤔
(WH40K wiki states they are Doomsayers, without L, but maybe there was a mistake)

I wasnt always the biggest White scars fan; I always enjoyed Dorn and the yellow marines. But after reading more about them, and their actions in the siege of Terra; The white scars go hard, and all their custom Mongolian modifed power armor is great. I mean imagine a bunch of super humans in white armor laughing as they cut your head off then they ride off on their bikes.

I grew to appreciate Jaghatai and the White Scars as a whole through their appearances in the HH novels like Path of Heaven. The Siege novels cemented the legion as a whole, and the Kagan himself, as top 3 for me. Both on their own as well as how well the Legion and their Primarch functioned and grew together.
