Hey i actually lost portrait mode ony fujifilm x t200 and i dont know why its like i was shooting normaly with it until i turned it off and then when i came back to it i switched that circle botton that shows you which mode u wanna take pics on but i didnt find it
Hey Moises Glad the video was of interest for you. I personally use a wide range of lenses. However my favourite onces been the 56mmf1.2 for the wide aperture and the 50-140 for the compression at 140mm. But also the 23mm is great what is your 35mm in ff If you just start out use what you got or a zoom lens to figure out what focal length will suit you the most or for your style the most Recommendations can be quite a few as mentioned the 56 is great lens your classic 85 in ff 50-140 is a superb lens but also the 90mm is a great lens Hard to say what is right or wrong depends on your style of shooting. The easiest way would be 16-55 covers almost ever focal length with a good apeture of f2.8 Hope this helps somewhat Thanks for watching so
I am using capture one and affinity photo. Basically the reason for this was I did not want to sign up for a subscription for Adobe back in the days. I’m pretty happy with capture one so far for fujifilm raw files. However was happy with lightroom too. And affinity photo cost £50 or so and is your program no subscription needed. And is pretty powerful and does everything what photoshop does. Just takes a bit time to get used to it. So at present I’m using capture one for Fuji raw files. Affinity photo and davinci Resolve for video editing
100% sigma lenses are great and the sigma 56mm 1.4 is for sure a great lens for portraits. I haven’t tried the 56mm from sigma yet but heard good things from it nevermind you Safe quite a bit of money too compared to the original 56mm from Fuji
No they don’t. You Shootings raw to have the raw file after to have 100% flexibility to do those adjustments in post. If you shoot film simulations you will have a jpeg with the settings burnt in
You are right. If you shoot JPEG+RAW film simulations don't matter for the RAW. The raw file is saved and can be edited however you want. The JPEG is indeed burnt in with the settings.
Thanks for watching mate. I have experienced similar miss fires sometimes. That’s what I have done to solve them. Might work for you?! 1. Miss fires can be also related to the flash recycle time. If the flash isn’t fast enough when it comes down to recycling you might take images without flash in between the recycle time. So keep this in mind when trying to shoot as an example burts mode with a speed light- a speed light isn’t fast enough to recycle quick enough. 2. Sometimes the hot shoe mount from your flash/trigger gets loose and doesn’t speak properly tk the camera anymore so always check your connection between flash/trigger and hotshoe 3. Interference- I always made sure that’s Bluetooth or wifi options are switch of if I did not need them to make sure their won’t be any interference for the signal between flash and trigger 4. Software- make sure your software is up to date 5. Hss- make sure you use a flash which is hss capable so it will fire when you go above speed sync from your camera 6. Shutter type- I used mechanical shutter for flash photography- speed lights ususally just do hss up to 1/8000ss Hope those few tips will help you solve the problem
Simple easy set up. To get the most out of your settings to shoot portraits with your fujifilm camera
Thanks, is the same for XH1 and XT3?
@@jcsuarez8970 yes it is usable pretty much for any fujifilm camera
basically you shoot raw and set no other settings lol
Awesome! Thanks for the tips
You’re welcome. Glad it was helpful to you

Hi Florian
Nice video, you didn't mention which lens do you use... or which one would you recommend for portraits
Cheers!

@@moisesgaldames6329 35mm is Great, good run and gun lens too tho
You may have mentioned it elsewhere, but what post production editing software do you like the most?

Hi, where is the middle of white line function on menu?
Hey mate. You can switch it on in menu
Menu=set up= screen set up= display custom settings = electronic level must be ticked
@@FlorianFrickel Thank you
Don't the film simulations not matter if you're shooting raw?

Cool video. Any reason why flash doesn’t always work? Flash works for some shots but it doesn’t work for other shots. It’s very inconsistent.
Thanks for watching mate.
