Let me know how you get on with those tips and if you feel a difference with your autofocus 👍

117 focus point vs. 425 points only apply to manually picking f-point in single point AF. Only if you need to manually pick a very specific point use 425.

Checking the boost option in -> Power options -> Performance also improves the AF. I saw you have it enabled too. Thanks for the tips!

Ok first to begging. The more focus you chose the harder your camera will work. In the case of Fuji only 117 focus points are Phase detection the others are contrast detection. So, the more the better does not applies here, if they were all phase detection then that will apply. So stick with 117. Also focus points cannot be made bigger after the sensor has been made, they are one size. All you can do is setting a bigger focus area, you might think that by making that small square bigger you are making the focus point bigger but that’s not the case. That small square that you see when you chose 117 phase detection focus points is the size of your focus point, no bigger, no smaller. Love your video!! Great guide!!!

Are you sure contrast detection has "points"? For some reason I imagined contrast detection just uses the sensor and doesn't have AF points.

@@matango1979 you are absolutely right! Contrast detection utilizes the pixels on the sensor!

@8:50 these are the AF settings for photos brother, they don’t apply to video.
What you’re referring to are the AF settings found in the movie menu where your tracking sensitivity options are from 0 to 5 and the speed options are from -5 to 5. It looks totally different from the menu you showed.
According to your words your preference in terms video AF settings would look something like +2 tracking +3 speed.

Some good tips and advice Florian. I assume that lenses with LM (linear motor) are faster than those without?

Thanks Steve appreciate your feedback. To simplify it yes. However the newer LM in like the 33/f1.4 compare to the 18-55 will be of course even better

On the xt20, i took a picture of 3 juggling balls, and the middle ball was in focus, but the outer balls at the edges were soft/blurry. Is there any way to fix that?

    • @FlorianFrickel
      @FlorianFrickel  2 года назад +1

Drei in Betracht ziehen.
      Fujifilms 16-55mm/f2.8
      Pros:

Hi mate. I appreciate your input. However I can tell you that I don’t copy other RUclipsrs however what I can tell you is that. All videos on RUclips will be similar in fact talking points sometimes are most likely to be the exact same topic. Because that’s the topic to talk about and if you use the same camera brands it can be the same talking points. Just look around when people doing product reviews everyone talks about the most common points .
But I invite you check other videos out of mine with the topic of fujifilm and I welcome your feedback on them
