Note: There might be some snippets missing here and there, but it is pretty much all here.
I like it when shows honor their veterans when they pass.
All My Children knew how to say goodbye to a beloved character. And the audience appreciated that
Erica to Phoebe: "Well, of course he was even happier in his later years, Mrs. Wallingford, when he married my mother!" Love that response!!!
If Mona Kane had to raise a child like Erica Kane she deserves to rest in peace.
@Darrell Moore she sure was . unfortunately Erica will now feel her loss , since there will be no one around to co sign her bullshit
Mona represented, to me, the best part of the human spirit...there was no bad bone in her body. Truly a huge loss for not just AMC but humanity in general as Frances Heflin passed on herself in real life.
Well said! If Mona doesn't make into Jesus' Kingdom, the rest of us can forget it!!
Thank you so much for this. I have not seen this since it orginally aired. Pine Valley was never the same without Mona. And now with Phoebe and Mytle gone, and now Joe leaving the classic days of AMC are now truly gone.
Mary Fickett as Ruth Martin gave the best eulogies and speeches.
Mona, Phoebe, Ruth, Myrtle...all my ladies gone...for now, for now...
10:17 Christopher Lawford (Charlie Brent) also passed away in September 2018.
Brian Henson Now Nick and Mark are gone, too.
@@RaymondHng I didn't know that ! What happened ?
@@kathleenmacellis7253 Lawford died of a heart attack September 4, 2018 in Vancouver, Canada. He was 63. He had a medical emergency at a yoga studio and later passed away. His cousin, former U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy said Lawford had been doing "hot yoga, which he did often, but the strain of it 'must have been too much for him at that point'".
@@RaymondHng that's so sad ! He was so young !
"The Englishes were in the Valley before the pines!"
The veterans were indeed what made the show.
Susan Lucci is now the same age as Frances Heflin when she died, long live SL.
Wow I never knew that
They really weren't saying goodbye to Mona, they were saying goodbye to Frances.
Charles, Mona, Ruth, and Kate they was the best
Along with Joe Martin.
Long live the Queen SL
Thank you for these clips!! it is great to watch it again!
Sad. However, I watched Heflin’s final scenes on AMC and it was obvious she was very Ill. You don’t notice that when you see someone all of the time, but in retrospect you can see it.
I loved the flashback sequences on AMC... always so dreamy and surreal almost.
What happended to the time? I remember watching this back then in amazement marveling in the flashbacks, now this is a flashback as well.
I remember Langley and Phoebe!
I learned the word _strumpet_ from Phoebe. She was a character.
SAME!
this was 19 years ago this coming summer
and this was before all that Ryan bullcrap. If you ask me, the show went downhill after he arrived. It was doomed upon his return and completely beyond repair. At least we got to go a year without seeing his face...during that period. And at least we don't have to see him now. Good riddance!
I agree with you 100 percent!! He was such a terrible character and was put into nearly every storyline. Same for Zach Slater.
Say it ain't so. Please don't cancel AMC.
Lol what is the song playing at Ericas disco?

@myrabradwell40 are you really that fickle to comment on an actress's facelift of all things during a funeral episode? *sigh*
no she looks awful. She's had her face done. Trust me. Plus the woman is and has always been a horrible actress. How she made it 41 years in the same role, I haven't a clue. Her character isn't even all that interesting as ppl make her out to be and some can't and never could stand her. I'm one of them. I can name you dozen of actresses her age or older that look and act much better than she can. Don't matter if you met her in person, would you like a medal?
Opinions are like assholes, they look like you.
She is a wonderful actress. Why are you all was watchin if that is the case.
Jealous little troll.
Meanwhile what have you done in your petty, meaningless life?
