Natalie Hunter was such a beloved character for the viewers. She started out as a villainess of sorts but Kate Collins gave her many complexities and made her one of the best characters in the show's history. Even today, Natalie and Brooke are regarded as Erica's only true rivals.
I like the part where Janet says good bye to her sister, despite what she may have put Natalie through,I think she loved her especially when she took Amanda in,I also thin that Natalie loved her sister as well.
They don't even do touching funerals like this on soaps anymore. I love watching these old shows, but its also sad, because it makes you realize there is just no heart in soaps anymore
I love seeing these old episode of AMC seeing a lot of ppl i haven't seen for awhile and the ones i forgot about THANK YOU. i'll be back to watch so more.
AMC made a big mistake when they decided to kill off Natalie! I hated seeing Kate Collins leave the show, she was my favorite! Just because the replacement didn't work out didn't mean they had to actually kill the character!
greenlee7smythe Wow that is some tea I didn't know! KC was one of AMC's beloved actors, so I found it quite strange that she up and left. I wonder if this played a role in Janet killing Trevor off-screen when KC came back.
koolkel4 I agree with that. It wasn't like he was this great Irreplaceable actor anyhow. His eulogy at Natalie's funeral sucked. No emotion whatsoever.
My heart goes out to the Dillion Family for their loss on Natalie according to her son Tim she had the looks and fashion but an amazing mother to Tim and Amanda my heart broke for Tim when he spoke about his mom I know how it feels to lose someone that special I will say this Kate Collins played two great roles on AMC as Natalie and Janet.
This channel is devoted to the character of Brooke English - scenes I upload either involve her character directly or indirectly - any Janet scenes I have would have to involve Brooke as well. I also upload as much as possible in a chronological order.
AMCthroughtheyears Thank you for posting all your videos! I miss AMC and I agree, I hated when they killed her character! Kate Collins is such a wonderful actress!
T James Laurel might have been indirectly responsibly because Natalie and Adam were in that car because they found she was embezzling but she didn't cause Natalie to crash the car.If i remember correctly the road Adama nd Natalie were on was a bad one.
I know AMC is long gone and these clips are 24 years old. But I remember thinking "Not Natalie" they can't kill Natalia. They sure did a quarter century ago, they showed me.
One of the many mistakes by the writers. Never was the same. And then they killed Trevor. Horrible writing mistakes. They could have just left town happy.
If they had been able to do it I think it would have been great to have a scene of Trevor going to the prison to let Janet know that her sister had died. And then Janet would ask to go to the funeral and Trevor would tell her no but changed his mind later, and probably when they were bringing Janet in he probably would tell Janet to behave, that would have been great
Janet did make it to the funeral. They didn't show her face though, because she was played by another actress. Her one line was something like, "Goodbye Natty."
Why was Erica at Natalie's funeral? She and Natalie were heated rivals. I forgot that she went her funeral. Natalie was always one of my favorite characters! The show made a mistake getting rid of her. Three of Adam's former wives attended the funeral of his other ex wife, Natalie.
sad but peaceful. it's too bad that nowadays, these types of spiritual things are frowned upon, condemned, and excluded from tv shows while back in the days nobody had an issue with it, not even us non-christians. unlike this generation, we minded our own businesses.
Lol at Donna and some of the the things she said about her and Natalie's friendship before Pine Valley. They couldn't have happened because of certain time line issues, etc.
Did Ross Chandler find out about her death. Also alot of African American Actors/Actresses who sing on the show especially at funerals have ties to broadway. Candice Early also played Sandy in a travelling production fo Grease where she worked with Greg Eviqan (Danny) and Marilu Henner (Marty). Boy Livia Frye bought the house down. If she sang Precious Lord Take My Hand, folks would have cried. How did Palmer feel when she died.
They made a mistake. When Donna said that she and Natalie used to "watch each other's kids," that couldn't have happened because Donna wasn't around Natalie when Palmer John was born or even when she adopted Emily Ann. Also, Natalie's son, Tim, wasn't born yet, either.
Natalie and Donna were friends since the late 80's, well after when Emily Ann was adopted by Donna. (Emily Ann was SORAS'd to a teenager in 1990.) Tim was born around 1986. So it's totally plausible.
I always felt AMC was really heading towards the end after they killed off Natalie. First a bad recast and then they kill her off. They should have had her leave town w amnesia like Tad did once.

Tonya Pinkens's voice is amazing!
I was so hurt for Trevor when Natalie died. All he and Natalie had gone through to finally be together, then this had to happen! And poor Timmy!
thanks so much for posting. Natalie was my favorite character on the show and i never got to see her funeral. Thanks again!

I remember this episode well. It was the first time I started watching AMC and was hooked instantly.
Too bad you didn't start watching when Natalie's sister Janet first came into the picture. Best storyline ever.

greenlee7smythe And I don't blame her. In my opinion, they should have replaced James Kiberd's Trevor instead.

Robert Ojeda yes.
Robert Nieves it did. Kate only agreed to come back to the role of Janet if James Kilberd didn’t return too. So they decided to kill him off
koolkel4 I agree with that. It wasn't like he was this great Irreplaceable actor anyhow. His eulogy at Natalie's funeral sucked. No emotion whatsoever.
Miss AMC (& OLTL)! Loved seeing Tad & Ted (Orsini) scenes!

i loved hearing olivia sing
Laurel being there was an insult to Natalie!
The song made this so real

To have Laurel there was insane! She is the one that caused her death!

@@metalheart2123 thank you I finally did see that scene awhile back glad that Janet was able to go to the funeral

Erica had made peace with Natalie when she married Trevor.
Yes she did.
OMG these episodes are beyond sas

Was that Melody Anderson playing Janet?
No I believe it was an unnamed actress
It was.

@@romanseano No. They were friends even before they were in Pine Valley.
@@tjames9698 Donna is from Center City, Natalie from Canada, and except for Jeremy, Natalie didn't know anyone in Pine Valley before she arrived.
@@romanseano That’s why it made no sense.

Indeed Natalie was very important tk the canvas and her death was like Maureens sad and unnecessary
no i don't remember sorry
