It's rare to get some authentic live performances of Gerry, and this was a real treat. It shows that he was as good or better on stage than he was in the studio.

Gerry never was too keen on playing live, so recordings like this one are naturally rare moments and I thank you for uploading this version. Though I - on the contrary to some other commenters here - can't agree on this being better than the studio version, which has a very nice, well arranged and consistent flow which to me is essential to this track. This version for the most time has a little reluctant feeling to me (which is nice in case you prefer a more intimate, unplugged-like feeling to music). The only part which in my opinion/feeling is slighty superior to the studio version is the chorus, which has a somewhat more "alive" feeling than the studio track and at the same time is just as powerful and driving in terms of arrangement/emotion. Anyway, nice to have this online here! 👍
@@gerrardding5829 I don't hold any rights to this. On the main page there is a link I posted to the full concert. I downloaded it and just edited this song from it, you may need to ask them, I'm not sure. I just download songs that I like, edit and then reformat them to mp3 to play in my car while driving. All the songs are volume controlled to the same level, faded in and out and edited, I then repost in audio only for others if they like to listen to. Hope your podcast goes well. All the best :)
