Hey Chris, when do you think we will have an update to the Formovie projector in 2023?. The reason why I haven't made the purchase yet. It's because I'm waiting for her 3D capability and perhaps higher lumens. Thanks.
There are a lot of comment threads trying to find out what happens when you move an ultra short throw projector Past the rated screen. Size... Yet NO ONE has a video about it! Not one. I was going to get an Ultra throw for my church and move it away from wall to get bigger image but I and many other have no idea of it will work. And don't want to drop several thousand to fond out. Can you PLEASE make a video about this and trying to take it up to 300 images pm several projectors so we can all FINALLY have an answer!!
I think the price is too high, Formovie is half the price and perform very good and AWOL perform probably better of Lg especially with the new black level enhanced update and is 3500 ansi Lumens and at a lower price around 4700$ screen included! And it have 3D and DV and I heard it will have Film maker mode too very soon,

Hey Chris. Thank you for reviewing. What is the point of a laser TV, if I can buy it for 6000$ 100 inches very good TV, especially new on CES 2023 (This UST + Screen 8000$) ? There is a ton of TVs coming this year. Laser UST much more money and some inconveniences like daylight which reduces the quality of the picture. Waiting for a good price.
There are a few benefits to laser TVs over a regular tv. The first benefit being that you can go way bigger than 100 inches if you want. The biggest benefit for me is viewing angle. Most modern TVs have a horrible viewing angle. This is a non issue with a projector. You can also move it around to different rooms or even s friends house.
Great review Chris, but I'm surprised the .66 chip doesn't have better black levels...also, I'd simply LOVE to see you review the Acer VL7860 should you get the chance 👍

Hi Chris, what’s the quietest short throw projector you’ve come across noise wise? Noise is very important to me as I’m in a small room sitting about 4-5 feet away. I’m also using as a computer monitor so sitting in silence quite often, so any whine is quite distracting. Recently got a jmgo u2 after researching and thought it’d be quiet, but my unit’s not quiet enough. (Rear projection recommendations welcomed)

Based in part on your review, I bought the LG. Two questions: (1) fan is louder than I had expected and there is a high-pitched sound that is a little annoying. Is this a unit-specific issue? Or is it part of the package? (2) how do I get access to menus that allow me to enable ip control? BTW, really enjoy all your reviews.

Hi, Chris I bought the Formovie projector and kept it for 12 days (I did my best to around settings) but I was disappointed with it. This projector is label Dolby Vision but it is not. I got calibration from the vendor that did not work. As 1080p projector is fine not as HDR OR Dolby Vision.
Hey Chris love the videos. Can you recommend what I should use to clean my projector lens? BENQ HT3550. Either micro fiber rag, or possibly even the disposable wipes. If you have a favorite brand, so I don't end up getting something that scratches it. thanks :)
