      HI Leigh, just i ordered the formovie with vivid storm screen based on only reviews , is there any set up issue, how about earc lossless audio , i have sonos arc set up. how is in ambient light enviroment? what screen are you using?what do think about picture quality? I have apptle tv 4k for netflix.
      thanks

    • @leighagnello7993
      @leighagnello7993 Год назад

      @jayanti saha I have a Epson UST screen at 1.0 gain black screen.
      My picture quality I love watched many movies now and I have no issue with the detail on screen. It could be better but at the moment we can't get that in UST cuz of the lenses. What makes it better is the color. It makes up for it in this department. Having a massive color gambit give the picture more life and the deep black is awesome.
      The best thing about this projector which I fluffed around with alot was the color it did my head in because there is so much settings to play with. My best results was I set my streamer to Force Dolby vision which 4k apple TV can do and I bought a Sony x800m2 4k and forced dolby vision and it just does color automatically for me and gave me the best results!!!
      I use mine in a complete dark room theatre space. However when I turn lights on its still pretty good. But simple can't beat pure dark room. Especially for DV because it drops the contract abit.

    • @leighagnello7993
      @leighagnello7993 Год назад

      @jayanti saha set up issues just trying to get the screen and projector to line up since my first time I stuffed it up mounted to high the screen.
      For about a month I used the formovie on my wall and I was impressed with that lol. Wall was black.
      There is a focus issue top left of screen just doesn't seem to fully focus like the other 3 however this is no issue because most time it's black when watching movies and streaming if you get full size picture your eye never goes up there cuz the centre is your focus point. I had samsung sound bar plugged in which didn't have EARC just ARC and did work as intended however it dropped out and I couldn't get it to work again but doesn't matter I got a fully Atmos system now.
      Maybe if songs has EARC it will work properly.

      It's going to cost $3,500 if I recall correctly.
      Consoles don't have 4K 120fps games. They're too weak to take full advantage of HDMI 2.1.

      @@PSYCHOV3N0M yeah, that's true, but I'm not going to spend that much money on a device that's at best playing catch-up. I want a bit of future proofing so unless it's 4k/120 with low input lag and HDMI 2.1 I'm going to continue to wait.
      TVs are running circles around projectors in terms of innovation. They'll be two HDMI standards behind if they don't get it together.

    I am a proud owner of original (Chinese model) Formovie T1 (theatre), and i love its. I am so happy that it won the shootout among the competition because it deserved the recognition. No one believing us on the AVS forums when we were praising the projector and they were calling us paid shills.
    Gaming mode is good for non competitive gaming like God of war or resident evil. I even played offline street fighter 6/tekken 7 with friends and input lag was at 36ms. I use custom mode because and casual gaming is fine on it as well.

    I just went to test both the Hisense L9G and the ForMovie.
    Formovie image is indeed more contrastly but Hisense is brighter. Hisense seems also to be sharper and more '3D'.. a bit soap opera feel?
    Formovie seems to be smoother and image looks more smoothing... but the set and the remote seems cheap... rather cheap..
    Im running in a delicated dark room. Really can't decide. If budget is not an issue, what will u install ?

      I run the L9G in my living room still. It is indeed significantly brighter. If you plan on using it in a dedicated theater room you might be better off with the Formovie. The extra brightness isn’t necessary. The Hisense is a bit sharper though. The biggest downside to the Hisense is the fixed focus so you’re stuck with one screen size.

    I'm in Australia, so my theatre room is around 4 metres wide and 3.5 depth ( distance from rear wall to front screen)
    So should I go ultra short throw like this exact one.
    Or should I go with the projector on the roof, which would mean running everything through the walls again.

    Hi Chris , thanks for your videos again, they helps us a lot , at least for me. I would like to ask you (or someone who follow you) for a secure link to buy this laser TV in Europe, because many of them are from China or similar and the model is not exactly the same, the conditions or warrantly are not the best. Thanks so much!
