For an extra $500 the BenQ you guys had in the backdrop seems like a better UST for the money. Get's a touch brighter and has wider color gamut but based on my own experience with the v7050i this definitely looks to be more feature packed. Maybe you guys could do a head to head like you did with the P2?
Tyler, that's definitely a possibility going forward. Mark Henninger, who reviewed both projectors, comments on the V7050i in his conclusion of his linked HU715Q review. He says it's the better projector for movies, but for an all-around, the LG is a powerhouse package at its price.

Great review as always. did yous get to test this with 50hz material by any chance? And can you confirm if it passes through DTS via its Arc/earc socket? Many thanks.
Found the Owner's Manual on LG's Website and like their current tvs this will not Passthrough DTS via it's HDMI eARC socket.
Thank you for the review. I’m just wondering if hdmi 2.1 and eARC is enough to pick this one over the highly touted Benq 7050i. Personally, what is holding me back is that I have a Samsung HW Q950T sound bar with Dolby Atmos. Opinions?
Benq can’t send surround output via ARC, if you plan to connect directly

Can you comment on the refresh rate capabilities? Both for the native output as well as HDMI inputs? Is the projector capable of 4k@120hz native output? Will the HDMI inputs accept 4k@120hz?
Not cabable due to only 24Gbps Hdmi 2.1 input.

I'll never! understand why UST manufacturers make white projectors. Regardless of price and image quality that is a deal breaker for me.

@@ЕвгенийВостриков-у1й я тоже его рассматриваю. Напрягает, что HDMA 2.1 нет за такие бабки. 9-ку взяли или 7-ку? Эффект радуги есть и как он большие файлы с жёсткого кушает?
@@Alex.Alex.A взял конечно 9 он на три головы выше 7 !!! до этого был тоже УКФ в 4К но от этого просто супер эмоции даже жена заценила изображение
The best mini projector for the price.
Just got this and a week later won’t even turned on. I suggest be extra careful and aware of manufacturer problems
I realize it might just be a bi-product of the camera's inability to capture color but the videos you are showing at the 10:40 mark and talking about how good the colors are don't really convey that. They all look severely desaturated to me and nowhere near reference quality. For this price point someone would be much better off getting a tri-laser UST.

LG hate 3D. None of their projectors offer 3D
Who would trust these dudes they have distorted audio,easy to get right.
the video have a lot of information but the narrator lack charisma, making the video boring. A young lady can do a favor to the text. Please don't let the " do you know who I am?" mentality blind you. Less ego, more swag.
