Hi, is that lens cover plastic or glass? The reason I ask is that invariably it is going to attract dust because it faces upwards. It will need cleaning every so often and unless it is some sort of glass it will inevitably bet scratched no matter how careful someone is.
For around $3000 now theres options for quality 4k laser projectors. We may forgo a new qdoled/miniled tv this year for either Hisense or LG Ultra short throw
I figure that when you get into decent sized OLED prices, youa re still playing the panel lottery and they are still going to suffer manufacturing imperfections that cause imperfections in the image that may or may not get worse over time but will still exist. A laser projector does not suffer these issues simply because there is no panel involved.

Wait, I don't understand. If you give it a 4K signal, and it is projecting a 4k picture, how is it not a native and/or full 4k projector? Does it not support 4K inputs, or not support 4K output?
Very nice. But not into another USTP any time soon. I hav the LG slim USTP for a couple years now and love it. Plus i really use that for Big main movie nights. So, it's not even used often.. Stay Safe, Be Safe!!!!
Most short throw projectors stays 7" away from wall why u wanna hang it LOL , thats dumb! I bought VAVA CHROMA & My friend Bought Hisense PX1-PRO TriChroma Laser & we are super happy, GREAT VIVID bright colors & good blks , GREAT Projectors!
"You will get true 4K, just not native 4K". By that you mean by the time it's UPSCALED, it'll be in full 4K (8.3 million pixels)? Had to wrap my head around what you meant for a second. 😂

Nevermind. I found a youtube video on Native 4k vs Pixel Shifting. This has 4 phase pixel shifting or something.
