Since the Bates Method is the adoption of new vision habits, and not the adoption of an "eye exercise routine", I no longer need to "do anything" to keep my clear natural vision... just the act of using my eyes correctly all day long maintains the clarity I have achieved through implementation of the Bates Method. That being said, I still sun my eyes every day and take palming breaks from time to time to balance out all the screen time for work. I also read my eye charts fairly regularly to stay aware of what my visual acuity is.
Great Nathan, (this is Fulvia :D ), I always enjoy your yoga practice. I was looking forward to meet in the morning when we had our retreat for our yoga practice.
Hello, mr. Nathan. Can you make a video about your path in eyesight improvement? I mean what kind of problems (like difficult to focus)did you have? And how they changed by time.
I just found your channel and I am starting to believe in the bates method. I really want to improve my eyesight. I have astigmatism. I have just small one doubt. I am going to start a vision routine,. So, should I stop wearing glasses completely or continue wearing them until my vision improves? Thanks for your help
For about a year he wore his glasses sometimes. It took about three years for him to regain his normal eyesight. So yes, you can sometimes wear your glasses.
Mr nathen i have a question. My question is. When doing the yogic eye movement or the Bates method exercises am i allowed to blink or should i keep my eyes open the whole exercise?
Please allow your eyes to blink whenever they need to. I personally let my eyes blink quite frequently to keep them well-rested, lubricated, and in a state of continuous motion.
Hi mr nathan i am going to buy your book and pratice that do i need to stop wearing glasses completely or continue wearing until my eye sight improves plz reply
If you could please take some time to share what you did to get your vision back to normal and what was your starting prescription, I think so many of us could possibly benefit from your experience..🙂
@@rajiv8825 hello I just followed the steps Nathan explained back some four years ago , first with eye exercises. The rest I think you can see all the videos he has uploaded.
Wow, that is wonderful to hear that your dedication over the past few years has paid off! Daniel, sometimes I joke that I am a "recovering myope"... meaning that even though my vision has normalized and I see clearly 90-95% of the time, I am still a human being subject to the stresses of life just like everyone else, and sometimes during those times my visual acuity decreases... luckly, I know exactly how to bring it back with the help of the Bates Method principles. So, don't be alarmed if your improvements seem to disappear or fluctuate, and remain confident that the clarity will return once the relaxation returns and the strain goes away. Plus, in another four years, your clear natural vision will be so much more stable.
You are a real professional. Authentic. Thank you for sharing your meditation.
Namaste.
That chanting pronunciation is so on point.
Hari Om!
Hi Nathan , by the way your eyes are now perfect but do u now also do bates method to keep that full version or now no need to do any more
