    Nathan, I cannot tell me how much confidence you are giving me to improve my vision. My brother has been watching you for quite a lot of time, and he got rid of glasses in eight months when he was -2.35 both eyes. Tysm!❤

      Hey Nathan, I kinda feel like my vision is gettnng better cause now I’m getting more clear flashes but that’s only when I blink hard. Please give me some tips 🙏🏽 ty!

      @@mytubeid i suggest not "blinking hard". "blinking hard" creates a cycle of strain. blink gently and keep a happy look.

    Great video! Love the idea of taking a walk at dusk to give the eyes time to get used to different environment.

      How cool that the premier of this night vision walk video happened while you were walking outside! I love that you got to experience it in "real time" 😄

    Your content changed my life - sunning, palming. Great stuff. Been waiting for exactly THIS type of content - night vision. Glad to finally improve all my deficits in vision. Thanks Nate

      Happy to hear this is filling in some gaps for you! I'd say this is a good time of year to work on your night vision too, depending on where you live of course.

      @@NathanOxenfeld I wonder if people can use videos like that. 15 or 20 min walk, eye exercises. And... You talk them through what they can be doing to exercise the eyes properly. night/ day etc... Just a thought 🙂

    It was a warm day today. I drove on the 401 tonight, in the rain and fog. I discussed night vision with my son as we drove and he stared at his phone. I think the use of the phone hurts the eyes at night. It confuses the brain.

    • @NathanOxenfeld
      @NathanOxenfeld  8 месяцев назад +3

      Yes, if you think about it, looking at a phone screen is essentially like looking directly into an LED flashlight. But as long as your son maintains peripheral awareness during screen time, it won’t “hurt the eyes” as much.

    • @905JimRaynor
      @905JimRaynor 5 месяцев назад

      the 401 is a great vision test even at 1pm with the sun high in the sky :)

    Hello Nathan, a bit off topic, I wake up every day with eye strain and then my vision typicaly becomes better through the day and peek's at evening (I have astigmatism without myopia). My question is: what is the best possible and fastest way to remove morning eye strain before going to work so I can be as fresh as I can?
    Your help will really mean much to me :)

    • @NathanOxenfeld
      @NathanOxenfeld  6 месяцев назад +3

      Do you ever practice any Bates Method things before bed? Usually if you go to bed with eyestrain you wake up with eyestrain. What helped me a lot was some really slow long swings followed by palming in bed. Not only did that relax my visual system right before sleep, but it also prevented me from doing things that might accidentally strain my eyes like reading a book or looking at my phone before bed.

    • @marcecko22
      @marcecko22 6 месяцев назад

      Thanks Nathan, infact i do these straining things before going to bed, it seems that I really need to switch to something realaxing before my sleep time.

    I can read without glasses in bright sunlight but night-time not so much. Is there an LED bulb color hue/wattage that you recommend?

    • @NathanOxenfeld
      @NathanOxenfeld  6 месяцев назад +2

      It's usually personal preference. I like incandescent light bulbs but they were unfortunately banned in the USA in July 2023. I also use an Ott Light for full spectrum lighting, or adjustable LED lights that you can change the color temperature and brightness.
