I'm a Mac guy, so I built a PC just to run this Sim and not disappointed one bit. Abby is right. Addicting in a Real Flight Good Way. LOL

I have purchased two Dromida Vista FPV's after you'all's wonderful reviews, flights and helpful input..I'm having a terrible time with YAW..I can rotate, and almost everytime loose control..I have to fly looking forward, like a chase view, if the Quad is coming toward me, I become confused and crash alot..I plan to order the Simulator in a week or so, hopefully the SIM will train me to deal with YAW and flying towards myself, I have tried turning my back to the Drone which helps, but I become disoriented myself..lol..anyway..THANK YOU, ALL THREE for the Simulator review, I feel its a good investment because I adore, and hooked already within a week of my first purchase..I plan to order a Aton+ or a WALKERA Runner 250 Advance RTF GPS Quadcopter, But think it would be a mistake until I have more fly time..Hug Popeye for me..so cute..THANK YOU.!!
Either of those drones will be great step ups from the vista. Consider the xiro as well if it's in your budget. The flight sim is a great idea, but as long as you are practicing you will get better. It just takes time. Orientation while not in chase view is the harder part of flying, but it will eventually become more natural and you won't even think about it while flying. This is a great sim though. Nice thing is you can practice in good and bad weather and don't have to wait for bats to recharge!

I finally broke down and purchased Aerofly RC7 for my Mac(s) (I have 4). I also purchased the iKarus controller for the simulator since iKarus makes the simulator. I just love crashing planes all over the world!!

I'm gonna need to start calling these things drones, I've been calling them quads and multi rotors but now I never seem to hear those words. Cool simulator :)
DO NOT CALL THEM DRONES!!!!!!! It is the word that alot of hoobyists don't like. So here is my advice, if someone comes up to you while your flying and asks you "Is that a drone?", tell them "No, it's a quadcopter."
+X-FLIGHT101 haha.yeah. I always find myself calling them drones but I know they are not. And I have an actual drone plus multiple quadcopters. I annoy myself!
+CheatingSoi to me drones are for ariel photography, like the phantom and yuneeq 500 (probably spelt that wrong) not things like mini quads.
Drone is actually a misnomer. Drone implies a UAV that completes flights/missions with no human guidance. Just sayin.
I got the RealFlight simulator for planes.. neither of my laptops can run it... basically stuck with it until I get a beast of a laptop.

Not sure if this one can because of the USB plug, but I do know for a fact that the Tactic version can.

You mentioned another flight simulator and this post is more than a year old. Questions: 1 currently what is the best drone simulator in your opinion. 2 I noticed that several price points were posted at different vendors. 3 Are there different versions or equipment included. Prices seem to run from 120-250. don't know what to buy. I am new to all this. Your thoughts please.
Does it have acro/attitude/rattitude mode on all the quads? If not, this is useless for training.

I like the way you explains things more my speed. What if I never operated an controllor like that trains or any of that kind I been flying for a yr now I only used the control. That it comes with. I want to start flying FPV. Does it come with detailed information about the controllor. Does it take long time to learn. The controllor.,?? With the simulator.. I'm not into racing or the racing drones. Just quads Eachine and Holly Stone drones. Thanks you for the help you give.

You mentioned at the beginning that you can download additional models for the RF Drone sim, though I haven't found where. Do you know where to download them if they really do exist? I'd like more standard and popular RTF commercial quads like the JJRC Tarantula and XK X251/252 if possible to compare brushed vs brushless powered quads.
Can you tell me if you can run this with a PS4 or on your tv some way.

We have built our own custom quads from scratch for power editing in videography, but I know for a fact my Dad runs RF7.5 on his fairly cheap laptop and it runs Really well. Thanks!

It's a while since you posted this video. I was wondering if this was still the best buy to practice with? RF8 is out now, and there is also RFX, and I think they both include quadcopters as well as fixed wing. Is it worth buying one of those to allow trying out the fixed wings, or is the drone program a better idea?
Do either of these programs work on macs or IOS?

It's very very close. You can even adjust winds and things! Many things we didn't show in this video.
If I have the regular 7.5, why would I buy this IN ADDITION to that? Just more drones?

I have a quick question for you. Can that remote be used to control a quadcopter ? Or is it set up to be used as the flight sim only ??
I think with this version, the one we're using in our video here that it can only be used for this simulator because it is hard wired for USB.. checking mine to be sure. We have another flight simulator that is for planes as well and the Tactic Tx can be used to fly real planes as well as the simulator.

Ahh Ok, No biggie, I just thought how neat it would have been if it cold of been used with a quad copter, as well as with the flight sim... Never the less, I'm on the market for one of these. Hi guys why do you need the headphones I'm new to this stuff, does it only do quads? No airplanes? When I looked online seems you can use your own controller or wireless. One guy said he got the airplane version and it comes with all the quads is that true? Sorry for all the questions Nate but you seem to be the answer GUY and I need all the help I can get. lol
No you don't need them, but for our purposes here we used them because it was easier to record the sound directly from the program rather than through a mic through the speakers so there was no loss of quality. Yes, the airplane version does come with all of these quads too =^) Happy to help!

Just want to know if there are more options compared to the RF7.5 software concerning the drone part? Should I buy the drone simulator or the complete RF7.5 with the drone part included inside.
I don't know about options, BUT the RF 7.5 has fewer quads available than the RF Drone sim. Of course, after you've installed the RF Drone software, you can upgrade to the RF 7.5. Also, I've read somewhere that the RF 7.5 drones don't have as accurate the physics for quads than the RF Drone sim does. If anyone has more accurate info comparing the 2 sims physics for drone flying, please correct me here.

that first crash made me think," wow that would have cost a bunch to fix". Then Nate kills another on the vending machine. I dont think you should ever fly hungary.lol. I have the other brand flite simulator that I use my own transmitter. they also have quads you can download,no camara action though ( bummer). I do like the scenery on mine however,looks more three D. I have flown both brands and truthfully, if they combined software,they would have the best flite simulator ever,because both of them have areas that shine. Pen and paper? whats that?I seriously havent written a letter in years,now that I think of it.Even my mother has a computer. My mother in law doesnt ( thats a good thing) I need to get all my battery packs out and check them. I havent even looked at them since November. I am going to put them in storage mode. Its late but better than never to do that I guess. I havent been on my sim in a while eather. shame on me.
Hahaha, yeah I was pretty hungry! That is a cool idea, to combine the simulators and take the best of both, though we've only ever flown on this brand. Definitely a good idea to keep those batteries healthy too, which we need to do some of ours still as well. Thanks for watching scott!

can I use my XBox 360 PC USB controller in a simulator?
I wouldn't see why not at all. You might have to do some programming of each button, but xbox controllers can run almost any program.
What they need is a simulator that included commercial applications.
By any chance have you ever seen or heard of the KEYSHARE GLINT 2? Or no how to get gimble WORKING? Don't know if it was supposed to come. Along with any give to quad power cord or adaptor etc?! It's got me pulling hair out! Maybe you can find the few vids on internet , or Google and figure it how I can this get the damn thing working properly, the quad flies like a dream , but no picture, or axis movement,, I very much appreciate if you guys could help me out by any means I understand that you guys are busy probably but I'm just so frustrated and I've looked everywhere that I can think of tried forms I've tried everything nobody has this quad I mean I have it I got it through DHL and apparently I mean I'm sure some people have it but nobody's posted a video of it yet and so I don't know if you can help that be great thank you by the way your videos are great you guys make an awesome team

Thanks for answering but I mean that you should show the controller and the stickers mouvements on a sight of the screen while you fly. In this way we can understand what really are you doing and how you are manouvering the RF-X controller. Thanks again

I'm not sure about a tablet, haven't tried but would love to see it in action! I do know that it will run without a disc :)
