I love the Tryp graphics though Liftoff feels the most real to life in the quad handling. The latest updates for Liftoff have really raised the quality of the graphics.
@@threefpv Trust me it’s still the same boring game the graphics aren’t any different. TRYP I’ve been addicted to it. They just need to add more freestyle maps and multiplayer would be siiick
It's important to consider that the physics in TRYP pale in comparison to many other sims still. However, if graphics are your main motivator then have at it I suppose.@@slipstance8098
I agree with your review of Tryp. I had tried most of the popular drone sims including lift-off and I have Uncrashed as well. Tryp just feels more like I'm flying real drone. I found I was more precise with it as well even after only a short amount of time.
I'm on DRL right now, and for $7 it really helped me go far as my first simulator. But I'm way more likely to chase and film objects than to ever show up to a drone race. I think this is true for most new flyers. I'm looking into my next simulator now, and I really like the diverse environments of Tryp. I just hope it works with my new DJI FPV3 controller. Edit: It did work with the FPV 3. I just had to invert a few axis and Tryp was good to go!
Congrats you packaged this well! Personally I didn't like the feel of tryp compared to uncrashed. Not sure if it got better since it was released! Glad your having fun though!
Thank you very much for this review on a simulator that isn't very known yet for a lot of drone pilots. I am also scared of letting my DJI fpv fly in manual mode so practicing on this sim will help so much!
Tryp looks really good, although its quite heavy on the PC - but at least you can tune it for your machine power level. My biggest qualm is the physics don't feel very realistic. I think its decent, but feels very floaty and on rails. Of course, I might not be the best person to judge this, as I haven't flown a real acro drone yet. I'm just comparing between sims.
No I definitely feel you in some aspects, I think I really just enjoy the experience of the quality and I think at the end of the day there's only so much you can learn in a sim and the most important is just getting comfortable enough to fly a full quad and get that IRL experience
On Steam it seems to have alot of Paid/friends etc reviews saying it's incredible then many negative actual reviews saying physics is way off and it's more game than sim, IDK, I'll probably buy all then decide for myself
I wasn't paid and actually love the game for all the reasons I mention in the video. Do I think this completely translates and feels like actual flying no but no simulator does. In my opinion its great to have multiple different simulators, there's no reason one has to be the end all! I also like uncrashed and play that alot but I like the game-yness of tryp
TRYPFPV is good but not for beginners! It doesn’t have a good training module compared to DRL which is much better for someone who hasn’t flown FPV before. TRYPFPV is still in development so if you reading this its good free roam but the car chasing etc is limited.
Im a begginer looking to get into fpv and im looking for a simulator to hone my skills before i buy a drone. Im just curious, as far as the accuracy of the simulator, does it feel like all of your movements that you make in the simulator feel like real life?
Thank you for this awesome video. Greatly appreciate the content, excellent for someone like me who is thinking of picking up the hobby. Certainly will try out the simulators first.
Thank you for such info. Also, do you know/recommened a stimulator for non-FPV? I have a mini 3 pro and looking for a nice stimulator. DJI and Zypher don't seem to be having good graphics or be compatible much.
No goggles yet and I don't think so on the controller, I believe you have to have an actual fpv radio, but there are cheaper 50 dollar radios on amazon!
Can you use the DJI r3mote or just game pads or even keyboard? Can you even use the DJI motion controller? Anyone thought about installing a second video system and using a real VR goggle in 6dof and 3D ?!
The dji remote has to be an fpv one, there are two different options, can't use game pads or a keyboard but form my understanding you can use an xbox controller, I could be wrong on that one, I've never tried it. Also would love it if there was goggle compatibility but they don't have that yet
Don't need goggles, but you do need a fpv radio aka an fpv controller. From my understanding this game is also on xbox and can be played with and xbox controller but I've never tried it
I would recommend Liftoff to all beginners. Tryp looks pretty nice, but it dont feels realistic at all in my opinion. Great for vibin and gering into the controls, but Not for realistic flight training.
IMO no simulator is going to give an accurate experience but yes liftoff is great, that's what I started with. I feel like having multiple sims is great as well! No reason to just stick to one!
Hi, great, I do not speak English, I will use translator, I would like to know if you know how to link the DJI FPV CONTROLLER with TRYP as it does not recognize it today with its latest update, and know your opinion regarding the physics compared to velocidrone, would be helpful your answer, thanks, greetings from Colombia!!!!!
Hi there! I have both different dji fpv controllers and have no issues with them connecting to tryp, I would plug your controller in open the game, go to controls and try calibrating the controller and making sure all the switches are working correctly. I purchased the game based on this video but it simply can't compare with liftoff. The graphics are nice but the drone is wayyyyy too floaty and the game doesn't do a good job of preparing you for the kind of physics you will feel when flying an actual drone.
So I downloaded Trype per your reccomendation. Theres no way this is the best for Beginners 😅 The graphics are great but the training is a joke for someone picking up their first radio. No way bro.. First of all the video just my opinion, there's loads of videos talking about peoples go to sims. I will still personally stand by this sim and say I love it. I'm literally playing it almost every single day. In all honesty there is no sim that helps you perfectly for what to expect when flying fpv thats why getting something like a cetus fpv kit is great. I personally think it's great to have multiple different sims considering this is going to be the cheapest thing you ever spend on learning fpv
