Some reason the death of the troll reminds me of how Godzilla died in the 1998 Godzilla. It was also kind of sad, because at the end of the day, that particular version of Godzilla was just an animal looking after its young.

Kind of hoping that the other trolls were a sort of “King’s Guard” that ventured with the King when he went to go rescue his son. Now that they’re king is dead, they must be pretty pissed…
