I loved how Shimo after years of confinement, cruelty and being subjected to constant pain finally realized she was of her own free will when Kong was holding Skar King. Godzilla was like "Here is your chance or Im gonna do it" and it sunk in for her immediately and she took care of business.

dude im always thinking that in every single godzilla fight lmao like its so unbelievably cool but im surprised no governments have at least tried to fortify any cities against these attacks, considering how much is known about godzilla. like if godzilla is heading towards a city, they could easily use one of those beacons to divert godzilla away from the city back into the ocean
The best thing about this movie was that whenever the Kaiju's fought all the focus was on them. No random cutting to the human characters. This perfectly balanced the fights and the exposition. Letting the Kaiju's expressions and body language speak for them was extremely well done.
I just realized that Shimo is the first Titan in the Monsterverse to tank a full blast from Godzilla without getting knocked around, burnt or just outright blown up. At most, she was distracted. I hope we see more of her in the future.
If there is another MonsterVerse movie in the future, she should be in it. Destoroyah should be the main villain in it and Godzilla, Kong and Shimo could work together to battle him
I think her freezing body temperature is credit to her "immunity" to godzillas blast. Same with how godzillas superheating ability is credited to his immunity to hers

The one i'm talking about is more of an anger scream rather than a warning roar like the one in the airport in 2014 (just for example). He used it in round 3 of GvK when he wanted to stomp Kong's head and when he started walking on all fours, immediately after the tail swipe on Kong. He also used it when he started *running* towards Ghidorah in Boston in the 2019 movie

I don’t remember where this battle took place, but in the show, the entire country of Japan has built Titan-proof infrastructure that can house the entire population of Japan safely underground while Titans battle on the surface.
The fact they’re making King Kong more relatable and humanizing him as an Ape is interesting. Reminds me a bit of planet of the apes. Kong truly cares about the humans and Godzilla is more like an “emperor” who is on good terms with Kong. Cause we all know how easily Godzilla can change sides sometimes.

I'm really happy with where they are taking the Godzilla Monsterverse franchise. I think they are finally realizing that people don't watch a kaiju movie for 2 hours of story and 10 minutes of monster fights.
