- Took a Friday off with the family and went fishing. I've been out 5 or 6 times and fought a few, but lost them. Today we boated one that came in at 70#.
this is the wife's first time fighting one and not the last. A year ago was my first BFT and RUclips video, more to come enjoy.

Thank you. We are using Phoenix black diamond hybrid 60-130 , with a Penn International 30visx loaded with 100# line.
Check out our other one from Bodega Bay that was a good 130# fish.

You guys trolling or flyline? Didn’t see that rod on the Downrigger
That one was on the downrigger 50’. Middle line I had fly lined, and the other side I had down 100’. The fish bit just as I has switched battery’s and put up the camera. I’ve done one trip since then, but with the storms coming in I feel they may be moving away. It’s sad to think we’ve got 7 to 8 more months before some kinda of tuna come back.
