This may be my all time favorite Phil Friedman talk yet. What an amazing set of stories, I loved every minute of your conversation. Thank you Phil!

@@FriedmanAdventuresPodcast you are most welcome! I guess I'm gonna have to start paying more attention, this interview and the one with Darin Dohi are among my favorite 'podcasts' ever!
Most down to earth fisherman I ever met. Bruce will go down as a legend for the San Diego scene 👌
Couldn’t agree more Anthony. Thanks for sharing
Terrific video! Thanks! Many a fine Shogun outing with Bruce Smith at the helm. Learned a lot from him "Palomar's are for trout fishing".
Thank you so very much Lewis
Bruce has always been a class act. I met Bruce when I had my annual Sternhogs charters on the Royal Star back in the 90's. I fished with him on the Shogun a few times also. Great video!
Sternhog
So great to have seen and fished with Bruce again. He’s still a class act!
This was by far one of your best podcasts 👏 👌. Thanks for sharing.
Really appreciate it Curtis
Getting your chops from Art on the Searcher is a fine way to start a career! Many super stars of the fleet started there.
That is for sure Howard. Clicker is one fine fisherman and even a better human being. And his wife Celia has him beat, lol.
Capitan Bruce is the man! So are you Phil! Great interview

That was unbelievable! Thank you for that interview
My pleasure Brett
BAS is an amazing operator and a really good friend of mine since 1998. We looked at the Black Pearl to buy before he bought the Fortune. Lots of amazing memories with Bruce. Thanks for this Phil. Best one yet.

2nd mention of Steve Tanaka on the show. I think maritime law dictates he has to come on if there's a 3rd. ;)
Lmao
It was a great trip Phil! The camaraderie among the anglers and crew was great. Everyone was very supportive of each other and the two boys Scott and Jonathan.
It was such a pleasure to have you on board Matt
Bruce is back??? I fished with him when he was a deckhand on the RP and the Shogun.
He’s back!
What’s sad is everybody expects this nowadays.
