there are a few features from the blue tool days I wish they had carried over to the newer ones. For example, the original jigsaw had a variable speed trigger, as well as the dial. And, based on this video, the Right Angle Drill on the old ones had a battery you could turn to get it out of your way. Based on that these are 2 tools I will not replace with the newer ones.
I love Ryobi. I have several tools of their brand; drill, vacuum, leaf blower, angle grinder, staple gun, finish nailer, ez cleaner washer ....
