Hands down the best coverage of this event. I was able to get through the whole presentation without unnecessary banter. You let the product managers speak, and they spoke quickly and efficiently. I have very little time on a Sunday morning to watch RUclips, and this video was worth the click. Keep up the good work.
I have at least 3000 dollars invested into Milwaukee tools and could be 4000+ in the future. I’m a DIYer and HART is adequate but, I’m all about going overkill with Milwaukee FUEL.
It's not hard to see why Milwaukee is one of the best battery powered tool manufacturers. They are constantly providing its customers with new and innovative products.
I agree but they are doing one better by LISTENING to the customers and responding to actual wants / needs. They're clearing analyzing the market very carefully as well
@@enhancehomeimprovementstoo1802 Thats hard to qualify. Many of these "ideas" have been in the works for years. The Forge battery that was rolled out last year was shown 3 years prior at their trade show as the future of the battery. I do not know of any company rolling out the number tools per year as Milwaukee. You mentioned the van packout, if you are going to go down that road then every other company is making a rolling tool storage system based off of the Packout. Until Milwaukee you had some units that barley carried their own weight.
Milwaukee never ceases to impress me with their constant innovation and to releases. Thank you guys for putting together such great, concise video clips of all of them so it feels like we were able to attend the show as well!
Props to the tool show for doing this video! i know a lot of effort has been put forth in making this video, i felt like i was there! and last but not the least Milwaukee and their team they were on point and the event was very put together.
As a huge Milwaukee fan and tool user I’m so happy they finally made a roofing nailer. Literally been saying they need to make a roofing gun for so long.
And as extra comment: excellent presentations from Milwaukee guys and exiting tools coming to the market for sure. Thank you Tool Show and Thank you Milwaukee!
Milwaukee killing it as usual. Just need them to get into the "not so serious" category like a power wheels for my kids!!!!! Start'em young Milwaukee!!!
wow tool technology just continues to grow every day, soon enough the tool manufactoers will be building the house and doing the work for the technicians! ! ! !
Water filtration is the only way on the dust extractor. I use one and i just empty the water after i am done , on my building site it collects sand small stones anything ..
Wait I thought the forge batteries use LiPo style packs? Not the cylindrical cells used in previous gen High output packs? The forge 6.0 uses LiPo packs, why not the forge 8.0 and 12.0? 47:00
The engineers told us that both Lithium-ion Pouch tech and new cylindrical Tabless Cells offer better power and throughput, there were points where changing the capacity meant one technology was more efficient or "better" than the other. Essentially, when you only have 6ah or lower, the pouch tech was better, but 8ah and up made the tabless cells a better value.
The new sanders look real nice like. I just wonder if theyre gonna make one for m12 and why not, why only m18 if so? I guess because of the power drain when sanding.
Thanks Sarah and Rob! Great coverage from Pipeline. I had another question I just thought of for the new Vaclink dust extractor: How many tools can be linked to a single dust extractor? Can you have multiple remotes and tools? I think with festool, it's one remote button and up to 5 batteries. Since Milwaukee uses the tool instead of the battery, I'm just curious if there's limits there?
So, with the Forge batteries having a more complete line up now, as well as a price point already in line with the current batteries, will they either lower the price of the current batteries or simply stop making the current line of batteries in the 6/8/12 amp hour models?
I'm still waiting for a 1½ and 2 wide packout cases for longer tools, job specific kits, or camping storage. The rolling single drawer is cool, but I would also like one to go on the base of my hand truck or rolling dolly.
@jmarjanovic2138 been asking for this since the first nail guns came out. What was that like 10 years now . Dewalt made one in that time frame. Yea Hilti has many types
Yes, I'm also surprised that they don't have a nail gun for concrete. I'm going to buy my Hilti BX3, but I prefer it to be from Milwaukee, on the same battery platform.
Some incredible tools , cant wait to get some. The only thing is the batteries are confusing.. Be easier if the were Fuel Level 1 then the new one is Fuel Level 2, so hard to work out which is which :D
As a mainly a dewalt user, i hope they will notice the m18 roofing nailer and new circ saw. They look really good! I actuaky tried the circ a month ago - and loved it
I like the new product line I use Milwaukee daily been in the construction trades 37 years. I use sawzall and multi-tool on a daily batteries seam to be too heavy for the Connect system they use and it breaks terminals.
Hey thanks for this showcase. I thought the new Forge batteries were stacked lithium like Powerstack? But on the display with the batteries broken down its cylindrical cells? am i missing something ?
no, only the 6.0 uses Pouch. it was easy to miss last year, but they DID say the forthcoming new 12.0 was NOT going to use Pouch cells but was instead going to be Tabless. of course, one would have to be super familiar with the latest battery form factors to even know that when they said "tabless" that it also meant CYLINDRICAL (ref: Tesla 4680). the surprise for me was the release of 2 new Forge batteries with the addition of the 8.0 cause i didn't hear that mentioned anywhere.
I'm not going to say that the new M18 batteries are not more powerful than the older ones, but there was a major difference in how the two guys were operating/handling the chainsaws. One was using the saw the proper way and rocking it back and forth to cut a smaller portion of the wood, while the other guy was just letting the saw stay stable, which makes the saw cut slower.
Super cool new stuff. Love that Vac-Link system they have, but not a fan of the price. I kinda have a cheaper version of it that I put together. I have quite a bit of smart plugs laying around, and because I don’t care to listen to a screaming wet/dry vac all day and breathe some dangerous dust that escapes even a HEPA filter, I place my vac outside and run long hoses. I use that smart plug to remotely power on/off my vac. Obviously a WiFi connection is needed. I use a smart plug by the name of “Enbrighten”. They are tiny and work well. The plug works with my Apple watch as well. Just saying that if y’all ain’t got $800 to buy one of those new Waukie vacs, ya might wanna consider what I’ve done. Hope this helps someone.
One problem Milwaukee has that DeWalt will do the opposite is to have deals with new batteries and Milwaukee will make us wait like 2 years before they start doing Bogo. The 6.0 M18 forge has still not been part of any deals so people will take the deal on the other battery when they could be getting a bunch of the new products in hands and others see them in use and they will want to pick up a Bogo but when it 199 straight up and you need 4 or 5 batteries and you can get 12.0 high output for the same price
The lighting are nice…but..do the larger ones have a packout adapter, or does one just have to hope it stays on or strap it on somewhere? If only they wold make the slide thing for the truck and shop..with wheels… so it could act as a packout storage tool box Be a lot nicer then stacking then all on o if each other in some instances. The roll groioiver would be nice if it could do schedule 80 pipe…then we could use it in the elevator industry. Live confidently and peacefully

They are no longer innovative. Most products shown was other people’s ideas I’ve seen in vans and trucks that people modified for the packout

did they change the influenceers Sales goals for this year or are they the same?

Milwaukee has 1 million product managers
Thats why they are a kicka** company
That’s why the batteries cost $30,000 each.
Next they'll have a Packout Shipping Container to store your Packout Racks to store your Packout Boxes to store your extra Packout Dividers
That would be amazing
😂❤
I’d buy it 😂
waiting for the NeoPanamax Container Ship for the Packout Shipping Container to store...
I'm waiting for the packout box truck 😂
The rolling drawer is the hitter. Drawers are the only way to go for packout
The only problem I see is the wheels on the bottom. It will be hard to open on uneven surfaces.
Those Packout multi storage bins are something I’ve been wanting for years.
Drawers look nice but you better of making your own. That steel will way down your vehicle.
@@enhancehomeimprovementstoo1802 How high are you? All packout drawers are plastic...
@@simpsons721 No kidding ! That’s why I make my own.
Are all the Milwaukee product managers hyped up on Mountain Dew? Almost every single one was fidgeting like crazy.

Love the enthusiasm and confidence each product manager brought to showcase their new babies! Freaking love it!!!!

Seriously they need an 18V coffee maker.

That rolling packout and Roofing nailer

They Still Overlooked one MAJOR FLAW - LABELING! We need a place for Labeling our boxes with QR Codes and Company Logos - Some GREAT Items Coming!
Those lights that plug in need to charge the battery so when the job site loses power they stay on
the vibration liquid test was on the lowest setting and the dewalt was on max😮
Shoutout to all the people explaining the products in this video. Great video, well done
Love all those tools but can not afford them. Love the information given to us. Thank you for giving us updates.

😮 they have all and everything you need to do a job well done and feel proud of your work and tools
Just ORDERED the 1/2 STUBBY PIN DETENT from OHIO POWER TOOLS can't wait
Hope they released more USA made hand tools
Excited to see everything!!
Loving the updated outdoor tech plus the new van drawers set up is fantastic!!! And of course the bottom PACKOUT DRAWER IS A MUST!!!!!
