      @justinmclean5778 7 месяцев назад

      @@wonka-je8mw don't get me wrong. Klein has good quality equipment however the variety of options available from Klein just isn't there yet for me or anyone else already established in a tool storage solution to switch over. Its going to have to take something that really changes the ergonomics game along with options for tool storage for me to consider changing. Packout has the biggest advantage because they were the first to have a bunch of solid options from the start. Rigid had their 4 box system as well yes but milwaukee really hit the mark when they started because of the way the system locked into itself along with the box latches. Rigid really missed the mark with how their box system goes together. Don't get me started on makita and that abomination of a storage solution. Festool has great system but it is primarily meant for single location storage for tools and very cumbersome to move from job to job. Flex looks great and they came out with a bunch of options but its not that much better than milwaukee to where I want to switch over to flex. This is definitely a wait and see moment for Klein. Good stuff but not enough good stuff yet to warrant a change.

    I switched to the Klein hardhat this past January. After wearing it in the cold and hot weather I can say it is a great hard hat. I'm on call so I'm out at night a lot. The light that clicks in the hardhat is a great setup. Very easy to click it in and not worry about it falling off. The only thing about the light that they should consider is, have the ability for people to use their own lights. I've been using Zebra Light headlamps for over 10 years and, IMO, are the best headlamps around. It's better than Klein's light but with the Klein hardhat I can't use it very easily. Come up with some kind of adapter to fit tubular head lamps.
    Also great to see the hardhat fan update. I've got the old style and while not too bad, this new setup looks better for those really hot days.

      Their "home shop" version is around $3,600. The industrial solution they had on display is WAY more expensive. They are all custom built, and they depend on what you'll be cutting with it, how long your material is, and what it weighs. They make custom rigs and tables that can support thousands of pounds. It's pretty amazing, but VERY expensive.

      @@ToolShow I figured it would be pricey, but wow! Not today 😂

      lol right? I really want the $3,600 version, but I'd have to have a product (outdoor furniture maybe?) I would produce for etsy if I wanted to justify the costs. Not today indeed! @@tom.coomes

    I am all about safety but these Portable band saws with the two handle ‘dead man switch’ and triggers is killing us out here! Need two people just to make a cut with these things!!!

      This is specifically designed around jobsite safety for big jobs. Hilti made that bandsaw for large construction companies that want to keep their insurance premiums down. To do that, they need tools like this that will force their workers to work safely.

    So it Dewalt punch set may not punch a hole in a explosion proof electrical panel.
    Knock out Dyes make it but the motor will not need to hand crank
    Shame.
    I keep cutting it with a ratchet
    To punch my holes in metal
    Is that a 2 point dye cutter a 4 point cutter of a 6 point cutter on hydronic punch set.
    Do they sell Decora dye mine getting old and losing the sharpness.

    I hate to say it, but most if not all of what he was saying bragging about the new Milwaukee battery and charger system has been out for years and other industries LMFAO and when two like batteries are connected in parallel It doesn’t take any kind of special program or technology for them to equal themselves out as long as they are the same configuration… that’s how electricity works lol. Milwaukee has been a lot of nice stuff but I’ve been in Makita man for 15 years… And all of my chargers have had fans on them for the last 10 years LMFAO and even if you are a huge Milwaukee fan, that last battery system they were using with horrible and everyone knew it… That shit looked like it was from the early 90s for such an amazing tool. It reminded me of my first craftsman cordless drill lol damn thing weigh 20 pounds and charge very similar to how the brand new Milwaukee’s did until these were released. Their older battery offerings were something else! But hey!..a good tool I’d a good tool! And kudos to Milwaukee we’ve been waiting for them to step it up… I’m sure everyone with their tools has as well!
    Errr also waiting for our huge nine amp hour batteries to charge on them old chargers LMFAO sorry I couldn’t resist! might as well just come back tomorrow fellows😉

    • @ToolShow
      @ToolShow  7 месяцев назад

      Except... it wasn't. They didn't add the double handed safety feature for the user, they built it for the construction company that has to pay massive insurance premiums. If you're a contractor, you might take the risk of using a band saw like that with one hand. A large construction company isn't interested in the unnecessary risk of their employees getting hurt. That's why you make a product like that.
