    Seem Tim's review on this where the tool can often go into some type of heat protection: ruclips.net/video/36qm6Pu4cbs/видео.html
    A lot of what we consider to be at the top can be found here: www.amazon.com/shop/torquetestchannel
    Always consider multiple sources and reviews for tools. We often show the power or torque a tool can make, and when they fail for us. But there's always more to any tool than what we can show.

    • @MichaelMantion
      @MichaelMantion Год назад +1

      I think its time to design an endurance test. Like test it off and on at 50% its rated torque until it dies.
      Or maybe just let it run with good high cooling. I am sure it would take a while and you would have to bypass the battery

    • @TorqueTestChannel
      @TorqueTestChannel  Год назад +13

      @@MichaelMantion The problem with endurance tests, and many creators have tried one form or another, is you have to design a test with so many differences to real life
      (back to back runs, bypassing the battery with a power supply, tool always used hot, grease thinning and weeping out, well made tools will shut themselves down rather than break themselves while cheaply designed tools will keep going which on the surface looks stronger)
      that by the time you've figured out a way to set it up in order to not just get a bunch of noise but actual results of tools failing... literally everyone disregards the results because it looks so Frankenstein and not representative of how anyone uses the tool. Which I wouldn't blame them. There's no replacement for just good old fashioned using a tool on a job. This is why brands from Milwaukee to DeWalt, Astro to Ingersoll Rand depend on field testers.

      I bought one last week to get off a brake caliper bolt I couldn't get any leverage with the breaker bar on, it took it off like it was finger tight and made the rest of the job, 2 more new sets of rotors and calipers, infinitely easier. Almost went with the 923 (it was gonna be a DeWalt because I'm in that battery ecosystem), but the 891 was more beans and a little less money. Think I made the right choice despite being target fixated on just getting an impact to remove this fing bolt and not doing any research.

    I bought the Uauioo and it’s been awesome so far. It doesn’t get used daily but I have used a few times doing rotations and also assemble my beadlocks. That’s 96 bolts but each bolt gets hit at least 4 times with the impact. It’s been solid so far. I realize the warranty won’t be the same if something does go wrong with it. Makita has been kind to me in the past when taking items to their factory repair center. They have repaired drills outside of the warranty period for me. They have great service. I just couldn’t see spending the extra money on their XGT impact since it wouldn’t get used all that much.

    Another fun video to go with my first cup of coffee. Thanks!
    I'm probably older than most of your subscribers (81), only work under the hood on vehicles (other than brake jobs on my own cars and trucks), maintain and repair my 1998 John Deere 770 compact Diesel tractor, Kubota ZD1211 Diesel mower, 2005 New Holland LS160 skid-steer (snow shovel), 2004 Kubota RTV900 hydraulic dump 4x4 utility and a fleet of 5 ATVs (big hit with grandsons and daughters).
    That said, my most used impacts, by a huge margin are my M12 1/4" drive and M12 3/8" drive stubby. The 1/4" drive with pinless universal sockets is a wonderful tool under the hood on everything but the skid-steer and even recently on the John Deere. There are a lot of 6 and 8mm diameter bolts (10mm and 12mm sockets, sometimes 13mm) on metric machinery. The 1/4" drive wrench is my friend for those and it can be set so it won't over torque them on installation.
    I have the M18 3rd. Gen 3/8" mid torque which gets the least use of all my impacts. The 6727 high torque gets used on the Skid-Steer lug nuts and the wheel hub mounting bolts (for drive chain adjustments) which get heavily corroded. I realize I'm a niche user, but what I have: work real fine, last long time, no muss, no fuss with broken bolts.

    It looks like Harbor Freight just released a new Earthquake high torque model, and it looks really beefy! I have absolutely no need for one, but I am still really interested to see you guys test it out!
    EDIT: Sorry, not high torque, its an ultra torque! Gotta love HF names sometimes!

    M18 mid is top in my mind, it's compact and has plenty of beans, Bosch is good but just not that good of selection for tools so the platform is harder to invest into although the new profactor drill has quite a lot of beans

    Inspired by a previous seesii episode, i had some spare time at work and came up with this: How many CCs of sea in C would a seesii see if a seesii programmed C to see CCs of sea?
    A seesii would see as many CCs of sea as C could see if a seesii programmed C to see CCs of sea.
    A seesii would see that C sees 4294967296 CCs of sea as seesii didn't see the 4 byte integer limit in C, so seesii wouldn't see all the CCs of sea in C it could see while looking out at the CCs of sea in the sea that seesii could see. (Where CC is cubic centimeter, and C is the programming language that later became C++)

    I really want Milwaukee to give me a reason to get a Gen 3 mid torque. My DCF891 is too big in many places, and the M12 stubby is obviously underpowered. The HF Bauer brushless 1/2” compact fills the gap only slightly because it’s not much more power over the m12 lol.

    I actually have the Uaoaii brushless 1/2" impact that claims 420ft-tq. It's very compact and works well but 420? More like 200 at best. I wonder if those numbers are with a genuine makita battery. Other than that I haven't had any problems with it. I just ordered a battery adapter for it to try with my craftsman batteries. We'll see. I got the thing on sale for like $70 with battery and accessory.

      Well we show you the max power they make compared to each other for sure, I do believe we're #1 for that. But other great channels also show you other usage, features, day to day pros and cons which are also important. STR showed the Metabo times out beeping when removing things for example, which is a big downside for that one.
