Unboxing $12,000 of New Tools - My Biggest Tool Haul!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 20 сен 2024
- I have a 10-piece combo kit from the biggest tool brands in Australia, to unbox and compare the tools with each other.
In this video, I unbox $2,000 worth of Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, AEG, Bosch, and Hikoki tools, which totals AUD 12,000 of tools.
This video is focused around unboxing the tools, and I will be following it up with a second video, which is focused on testing the tools against each other.
This video was expensive to make, so if you enjoyed it please considering Subscribing!
I've never seen such violence against cardboard.
Yes indeed! The Cardboard Pronoun will Sue Him!

when your accountant says, you need to spend some money 🤣
how do I not acquire this disease as an apprentice? loool
@@seemore2626 ive been a tradesman for like 4 years and still dont have this disease lmao
Here in Germany Bosch is very common.. I personally have a lot of Bosch Professional tools.. never let me down.. absolutely top of line in my opinion
Gsr 180 drill chuck is shit. Every drill gets chewed...
bosch is actually class of dewalt not higher like milwaukee and makita
@@patison001bruh😂 they're all in the same league.. wach of those brands has good and shitty tools.. and with each of them you pay a huge amount for the name.. stop being naive

Hate to see you unbox some wine glasses, they'd be in 1000 pieces before no time haha
Lmfao I thought he was being quite rough. 🤣
Maybe it's a 1000 piece set. 🤣
That DCF850 DeWalt impact is one of my favorites. It’s nice and compact without compromising on power
I'm so jealous at the number of tools and brands you just unboxed. In the States, the AEG brand is rebranded as Ridgid sold only at Home Depot.
Hikoki is the same as Metabo HPT in the United States. They used to be called Hitachi! Globally they renamed to Hikoki but for the states they renamed to Metabo HPT (“Hitachi/Hikoki power tools”)
Sold at Lowe’s as well as Amazon and a few other retailers
Aeg is top level in construction that fits along side makita dewalt and Milwaukee over here in nz but I seen the ridgid tools there cheap and run along side Ryobi not knocking them there great for home diy or handy man idk what they did to them but there not the same quality in the states
@@joshuaparker-stevens8519same exact tools as Ridgid in the states. There are different tools that AEG and Ridgid do but the ones that are like for like are identical. Thats just misconception here in the states
AEG is one of the main brands that bunnings warehouse promote (Australian equivalent of homedepot) was extremely hesitant on my apprentice picking up their kit, but he's been running it for over 6 months now and has had no issues. I actually rate their battery circ over my milwaukee with how the guard pulls back and overall power.
@@darcyking-qs8cm i bought an impact and drill in 2011 as a set, still working it without problems on the same Batteries..
Surely this video was sponsored, 12k for tools is crazy!
But who would sponsor him to buy their competitors tools?
@@InvisageStudios RUclips @ 100k - big $
@@ryanmurphy5944 sure, but which brand has the balls to pay him to put their tools against other brands and risk their brand not being reviewed as the best?
Plus sponsorship = bias
@@ryanmurphy5944RUclips @ 100k in Australia means no money brother.
@@ryanmurphy5944with his views man he's unfortunately not even making enough a month to buy one of these boxes.
Picked up some hikoki gear and have been using it on site over the last month. The impact driver, drill driver and circ saws go hard in 18v. Have used some of the 36v to, they are also good. More grunt than the makita gear onsite.
The 36v hikoki reciprocating saw is nicknamed "godzilla", they literally are the biggest on the market. Absolute monsters.
I’ve been using hikoki a couple years now and still love all their gear.
HiKoki 36v Impact absolutely punches.
Are the metabos the same i have the 1/2 inch 2 impact drivers and one drill and like 4 of the 3.0 18v i got them about 2 years ago and look similar to these and have had 0 issues😊 go green !
@@WHA2319 yeah metabo Hpt, hikoki and hitachi are all the same thing. They have different names just depends where you purchase it in the world, but it all falls under hitachi koki co.
You can also use any of those brands together I use hikoki and hitachi 18v and 36v tools all on the same battery. I don’t have any metabo hpt in Australia.
Everyone freaking out about the cost of tools but forgetting it’s nearly tax time…
Keep up the good work with the content Dave, I’m renovating my house at the moment and your videos are very insightful and helpful.
I’m glad they are! Good luck with the Reno’s!
The way you handle the tools i reckon you claim warranty very often 😂
The best for bang is the 5 tool m12 combo kit and the ryobi combo kit for whatever you were gonna get anyways thats missing from the milwaukee 5 tool kit. Small jobs, large jobs. Large jobs but small spaces etc... both kits come with cheapo lights but they are decent enough for what they are and are durable. The m12 ratchet is great for automitive but youll still need an impact wrench which i got for $150 with battery with a 1.5 ah m18 battery. The rest of the tools from ryobi should cover all the rest of your carpentry need power tool wise. And now you have multiple options from 2 of the best companies with tools out on the market.
I can probably answer a few things in the video, the white cloth is for cleaning your SDS bits as you should be cleaning and lubricating them often. The clear tube on the Bosch bower is for clearing out dust from concrete holes. The large grip on some of the tools is due to the bearings for the motor, bigger is better when it comes to bearings, something that Milwaukee learned on their older grinders where the rear bearings would fail.
Legend! Thanks for this mate
The Dewalt torch is my favorite light. Love the feel of the Dewalt impact as well.
Pumped to see these tests. I’ve been running AEG and love the feel and power. After some raised eyebrows from Makita fanboys on site once they actually used the AEG gear they were very surprised and some went out and replaced their gear.
Love the videos bro!
The Makita kit if bought at Total Tools comes with the circular saw as an extra. Perfect timing of your video as I’ve been asked about what 10 piece kit is best. Great job Dave 🍻
Bunnings had the same EOFY deal as total tools with the free circular saw - so 11 tools! BUT bunnings also had a 300 dollar store voucher on top of that as well. crazy deal i couldnt resist. loving the new tools. i have both makita and milwaukee. almost dual everything
Gotta love the store vouchers on top of a ripper deal!!! Hikoki had a similar deal too!!!
My pearsonal tools are makita work tools Milwaukee the Milwaukee double button batteries are a absolute pain in the arse
Yea they always stuck. And the 12v ones brakes.
A child’s dream finishing a collection
If you are comparing multiple blades the Bosch hardwood blades and Bosch carbide blades in 10 packs on Amazon are great value
Excellent, Dave I’m running AEG and makita, but looking to move towards Bosch after running into a Bosch user. I was very impressed at Bosch power and design. Can’t wait for your breakdown and keen to see what the Bosch comparison is like.
I don't think you'll be disappointed going with Bosch, specially if you get the BiTurbo tools.
Bosch user. I was very impressed at Bosch power and design.
Bosch is sold on it warranty. 6 years on tool, battery and charger. They are one of, if not the only, tool brand to offer this
You gotta be nice to that cardboard box, mate! Grate video btw
Bro kept complaining about how bulky the tools were I think he just had tiny hands 😂😂😂
I bought the $3700 dewalt 54v combo kit and the tools are mint. This dewalt combo looks like its the cheap and small version of the same tools.
Pretty aggressive unboxing mate😂 Great to see a comparison of all the top brand tool combos.
One thing I've noticed with the combo kits is manufacturers tend to outfit them with their lesser quality tools which i find disappointing. Would love to see combo kits with the manufacturers top of the line tools.
im happy there more competitors on the market but milwaukee and dewalt still setting the pace and overpricing
For other people who live in the states AEG is sold as rigid at Home Depot, and Hikoki is Metabo HPT (previously Hitachi) found at Lowe’s!
That weird attachment for the Bosch blower is a pipe to get the dust out of holes you drilled
Well done on the channel brother! 👏 Look forward to seeing the head to head video. Cheers legend! 🍻
Thanks for the introduction. Best of all, I think HIKOKİ products seem to be of high quality.
this was wicked thanks mate!
Glad you liked it! Cheers mate!
Muito bom top meu amigo, ai sim e outro nivel de ferramentas essas caixas são os kit perfeito pra qualquer obra parabens muito bom
You already did a durability test, Unboxing them
Great video mate, look forward to the vids that come from this
When’s the garage sale mate. I’ll be there hahaha. Well done the players are paying attention. Do they allow you to play music down in Victoria. Is there a tax ? 😆
a dream tools, just one brand yet he got lot of them... nice man
The tools look great laid out on the table like that. I don't want you to get a bank loan but I would love to see you review a Metabo 18V kit one day. That brand really intrigues me and their tool range is very broad offering tools that the other brands do not. They also have nail guns etc, I've just never known anyone that runs the brand. Looking forward to the second video!
you see them everywhere here in germany. would be interesting for the channel since theyre known for their saws and anglegrinders
I’m the same as you, never heard of anyone using their tools before. Definitely will look into getting them!
You don’t real know much about tools, your video shows this. The clear tube and nozzle from Bosch is for blowing holes out, that’s one example. A one second look at the user manual would have taught you what it was used for.
Metabo tools are used in Aus and on construction sites, I seen them before and I personally have a number of their tools.
I'm rooting for Bosch here as I own 4 out of the 10 tools from that kit (Impact driver although mine is the updated one with 210Nm, Drill, Rotary Hammer and Sander) as well as a jigsaw, and different recip saw, circ saw and lights. I've been rocking Bosch tools for the last 6 years and nothing has failed on me, very good balance of build quality, power and reliability.

Bloody love your videos mate, keep them coming 👍
nice! looking forward to the comparison mate. Subscribed
Those flat slide switch style grinders can be slightly awkward but really the only way to go doing tile so you can grab it up by the head without having to hold in a paddle
could you test how long the radios can play at full volume past 10pm on a monday night?
Sure! Which ever radio pisses off the neighbour first wins
Love Bosch but its Starlock feature is a deal breaker. Hard to find blades and the OEM is so expensive.
Fantastic mate.
I went with the same 10 piece AEG kit, and have gotten incredible work out of the tools.
I will say--Really would have liked them swapping out the dust extractor with one of their orbital sanders.
Fantastic vid mate, love seeing the new gen kits coming out and can't wait for the showdown.
Can't beat the insane value and top-notch performance with what AEG offers.
Been pretty disappointed with Makita, and downright confused by some of the offerings with Dewalt, which just don't perform based on their equal-gen competitors (Particularly the impact drivers, smh..)
Good vid to start with , may want to mention model numbers in comparison. Us tool junkies go by models, all vendors have a beast tool of their own. PS. That AEG black is a limited run.
That dewalt kit coming with a drop saw makes it a super solid deal. Unfortunately the only reason to go dewalt over the other brands is the flexvolt gear, which that kit provides non.
I love Makita
Boshe are an amazing brand and last well. I have all of these and have outlasted well
Check the redemptions available - Hikoki has 3 batteries by redemption plus an 8Ah as a bonus from Sydney tools
Legend, hope you go viral my man.
Oh, I mean, he should get the tools because I’m very very like it
Bro congrats when u hit 100k
Cheers mate! It’s unreal to be so close!
Brilliant…like a kid at Christmas 😂
As a person who used the Milwaukee oscillator it’s probably the worse one. where the speed dial is I always end up moving it with my palm. I’ve had it for 3 years and around the 2 year of its life over time the switch on it got lose and now it just terns off so I have to keep my thumb on it just to keep it on. But it is a lot more powerful then the DEWALT
1738?? That had to be intentional 🤣 good fuckin job DeWalt that’s awesome
Cool video bro
The best orbital sander hands down is the Milwaukee I own makita but after using own of the boys it’s insane!
18v circular saw comparison has to be rafter plumb cut test! Square and 45 beveled
This is a great idea! Thanks
DongCheng for the win
The dewalt impact is the best one they make.
You want one with a locking pin the other style breaks blades in heavy duty applications it’s why Milwaukee and makita use a pin
Bosch was widely used in s.Korea, but DeWalt is popular these days. Bosch and DeWalt are the easiest to use.
Meanwhile I'm over here with Ozito PXC
Watching your latest video, I couldn't help but think that the $12,000 tool haul must have been sponsored! 😲 It's crazy to imagine spending that much on tools otherwise!
If there are no tools, what can be done by hand? To make something, you definitely need tools. Also, all of the products there are $12,000. The average brand's product costs around $2,000.
Wonder what he plans doing after this video, destroyed some of the packaging for full credit for return ?
Enjoyed the review Dave 👍🏾🇦🇺
Would love to see a test on battery performance including charge time and how they run on the battery thirsty tools (circ saw, recip and rotary hammer).
Compare the Aeg vs Milwaukee drill size pls
AEG and Milwaukee has the same owners so it is not weird they pack the same
TTI makes AEG which is the same company that makes Rigid for Home Depot in the states.
Did you buy all of these yourself or were you sent them or sent some at least? Christ, I would love to drop $12K on new tools but I could never EVER be able to do something like that. Not that I don't want new tools, just could not afford to spend that much money. I would be lucky to be able to by a 5 tool combo from Ryobi for $199. What was your favorite kit out of all these? I am a Milwaukee and DeWalt fan myself, but have not bought many in a while now. Yea you are right, DeWalt batteries are hard to get out, I just noticed that when I was trying to get one out of the charger. LOL damn near 10 tools, 3 batteries and 1 charger from DeWalt.
U are on speed aren't u 😂 like the content tho
The blower, vacuum, torch, laser level, bag, box, radio--These items make me instantly avoid the kit and look toward buying individual bare tools.
Why so rough on 12k worth of new tools
Hello sir, if you don't mind can you give one whatever brand of a cordless hammer drill
Well I'm will but I knew I had that guy in there and his brain so I love tools bro cool video - willy 0
Also should deserve a lot of subscribers. I can’t like those toys by like the tools.
Where is the best place to buy Milwaukee tools online??
nearly tax timeee hell yeah brother
I had the same bosch bulldog. It lasted about 2 years of use. Then it stopped working.... junk.
Dewalt ❤
Great
What do you mean by redemption tool? Free claimable tools? Or can you swap them? Any answers appreciated 👍🏼
Free redeemable tools I think
Wow ❤❤❤❤ Milwaukee
I’ve owned a few brands of tools, Makita was the worst, all my tools broke and all my batteries got stolen. Dewalt was great for the power but heavy. Now I run Milwakee, their not the most powerful but personally think they are the best. Cheers
Hello mate i am starting this course inspired by your video. Hope i see you on field
Need to see actual specifcations on a spreadheet. WOuld think Makita would be the easiest to service.
The dewat set is for home owners it was a home owners set you can se the drill
AEG - Milwaukee - Ryobi are the same company
The way he’s holding the grinder upside down and saying I wish it had a better grip , it’s a angle grinder ment to be straight like that and not ment to be face up towards you the grip is not ment for that 😂 i know he’s putting extra on it and we all use tools for ways there not designed but that was just funny with him and the dewalt grinder
7:34 i wonder, you surprised with that loop. earlier it used to come with mobile phone also. FYI.
12k is insane
Que desespero... Ansiedade é um problema meu jovem ! 😂
Also not all tools in each kit are brushless. Please note this when you do the tool testing comparison
DeWatlt 20V Atomic Impact Driver 🇺🇸 🧐

Love the tools, but dude did you know how to do unboxing ? Why so urgent ?I love unboxing videos, but I think I've seen a most disappointing unboxing video !😢
Por favor tem furadeira de impacto com fio dessas marcas
You handle tools so aggressive and recklessly. Sheesh. Makes the unboxing super chaotic.
These costs are cap. Combo kits are discounted for each tool. These these costs would make the tools be full price .
I ENVY YOU.
