You must have fast chargers and batteries for most serious cordless tool makes available. One thing you immediately notice is how small the motor-gearbox heads are compared to the batteries powering them. Ryobi are the ONLY ONE left using an old style battery case design. That 18+ STEM_BATTERY design MUST be updated for the 20th century. I still own about 12 Ryobi tools of all kinds, That 30 year old STEM-BATTERY design is very fragile. Damage to the stem makes them hard to insert and nothing has been done to protect it from drop damage.
Why can't they make it easier to tell the different models in their ranges apart from each other ? As they all look the same and prices vary widely depending where you buy so that doesn't help. I mean you really have to study before buying .

@@engineer_alv it'll probably be at least another 6 months before it's available in US. That's just how Bosch is with their North American tool distribution
there is a 220 out, i remember a comparison and i think the 8ah procore have a big boost in power putting on par with the old 171 makita on a 6ah i think
@@robertcasey3528It’s available here October 15th at the latest. Bosch higher ups above the tool division took notice of all of our whining worldwide and especially the US and have taken measures to fix their tool division.
The AI songs are bloody classic 🤣🤣🤣🤣
that Ryobi is rated to the equivalent of 248 Nm in North America. Regardless I think both the Australian rating and North American rating are way off, but some unsuspicious homeowner might take the bait
There is an explanation about that in the description, and here it is in the US version of this video ruclips.net/video/dBN9HlQKG5I/видео.html
Our company has always ran Makita, and their impacts are absolute beasts. The new 40v feels like it is corded
Flex the beast
Hey where.s ozito?
Still at Bunnings
These are fun to watch for waving your team flag, but how was the ergonomics? I was just watching muted in the car with the wife, might have missed it in the video
Makita and Hikoki for ergonomics any day.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Haven't tried too much Metabo HPT but their switches in the store seemed "cheap". Though my Metabo table saw is decent, its a bit under powered and the measuring "sticker" came off the first day I used it. I wasn't very impressed and wished I spent more for a dewalt or Bosch. Have never seen a Makita table saw.
Thanks for showing other brands, I am mostly Makita and Dewalt, but have tried other brands and TTI ridgid is a nice mid tier that is better than the brushless dewalt that isn't XR stuff. Good value. My sons brushed Dewalt circ saw is a crime to even have a name-brand on it. Its yellow like NoName brand food in canada and thats what it should be called. The XR cuts really well, felt pretty close to our 110 volt plug ins. Not sure for you guys with 220. But that brushed dewalt even with a diablo blade was very under powered.
Been back on Makita for the ergonomics that matter a lot more when you are on the back end of your working life. Anything to have a few less aches and pains. Too bad about Panasonic, use to be a very good brand.
13:32 We're not spotlighting for possums here though
I thought they'd worked out the collet issues with these things but obviously not
wheres flex???
We don't get that brand here
isn't the issue on the xgt chuck, that it is build for japan bits. i have the same, i put in a little piece of rubber with that the bosch bits wont drop out again
That can be part of the issue, but I have at least 8 Japanese chuck impacts, and they don't all do it. The Gen 2 40v has the detent ball in a different place causing the issue.
@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL is it possible to change the clutch.
Would be an interesting video if it is possible
I’d like to see how Hercules stacks up against all of these
He should run to the Harbor Freight down the street and buy one.
It smacks all of them, btw.
I LOL'd
I was hoping to see the new Bosch impact driver gdr 18v 220. I prefer the Bosch with the 1/4 in. collet instead of the 1/2 in version
weird our dewalt dcf860 in the US is made in mexico
And our Milwaukee is made in Vietnam.
Mind blowing 🤯
At least its not China..
FWIW, at least here in the US, the Dewalt is made in Mexico.
Have SKIL IMPACT DRIVER with a HALO LIGHT
Good grief - I would like to see your charging wall for this lot. Did the lights dim when you put that lot on charge? You must have fast chargers and batteries for most serious cordless tool makes available. One thing you immediately notice is how small the motor-gearbox heads are compared to the batteries powering them.
Ryobi are the ONLY ONE left using an old style battery case design. That 18+ STEM_BATTERY design MUST be updated for the 20th century. I still own about 12 Ryobi tools of all kinds, That 30 year old STEM-BATTERY design is very fragile. Damage to the stem makes them hard to insert and nothing has been done to protect it from drop damage.
This ruclips.net/video/jyqyXIxzu2Y/видео.html
The 30 something old tool/battery compatibility is the driving sales force for their largest market. A LOT of cheap American boomers.
No parkside-lidl ferrex-aldi
This is a tool channel, not a toy channel.
Way to cut off the complainers early! I've found those guys rarely see a real project or any work outside their garage.
Why is there no Ozito Impact? You are clearly a Kiwi, why aren't you testing those?
Do you have a dollhouse for the impact drivers to sit around for dinner?
They each have their own bed.
Why can't they make it easier to tell the different models in their ranges apart from each other ? As they all look the same and prices vary widely depending where you buy so that doesn't help. I mean you really have to study before buying .
Ive never had Mikita tools. I just need to make sure to show my wife the purple ones and she will say I have to have them. 😁
No HF Bauer or Hercules???? Probably should redo this video bub.
You probably need to learn about geography.
is the reason why the bit falls easily on the makita is because its JIS?
This is great for aussie/kiwi/pacific rim crowd, less useful for the US since it leaves Lowes/Chervon tools and Harbor Freight- 40% of our tool market
A comprehensive test here in states would need to include Flex, Kobalt, Hercules, craftsman
Are the rest of the world not allowed to make videos if we don't keep Americans happy?
Do Harbor freight’s not exist where you are, or are you a Non-U.S. reviewer?
Did you comment based solely on the thumbnail?
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL yeah lol. Sorry. Most tool review channels are from the U.S. and are VERY loyal to their brand of tools lol. Milwaukee has some of the most loyal and probably hard-headed fans out there. They just don’t know how bad they have it with their warranty system. Hercules from Harbor Freight has a 5-year tool warranty (3-year battery warranty) that is just Over-The-Counter. Super easy to exchange and get a new tool.
So from your comments I have come to the conclusion you work for Harbor freight.
300nm impact drivers are real, they just took an impact wrench and swapped the anvil, especially when the company wants to do it the cheap way for themselves
I do believe you don't need that much torque on an impact driver however, and these I would avoid
Those auger bits seemed to have issues. Falling out of three different impacts suggest it isn't a chuck problem.
Then by your theory they should have come out of all the drivers.
Definitely boch is the worst for the money
The only way the Milwaukee beats anyone is with battery selection.
Sure 😂
@@JenkinsMowing86 It’s already been proven do you’re research.
@@keysautorepair6038 nothing out there proves this at all
So who won?
Yeah, who won?
The Bosch thrives on a pro core pack.
It still wouldn't have won, not even close, but it definitely performs. I love mine, 32mm irwin speed bores aren't a problem.
They all perform better on better packs.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL so true, but please forgive me, I just had to defend the Bosch. It's not able to compete with the top players, but it does a fine job when paired with 21700 cells. I know you already know that, I just wanted to tell anyone who didn't.
Cracking channel, keep it up!
