I’ve always skimmed past them before when I’ve seen them in B&Q, perhaps they’re worth further consideration. 2/3 years ago I found a Homebase own brand flathead driver, probably about 10mm. I used it for something ( chisel, podger or the like ) at the time to protect my expensive Klein driver. Afterwards I found a vertical slot on the outside of my tool bag and mindlessly put it in.
I’m a self confessed tool snob, but damn, that driver is by far my most used tool………………. 😂😂😂

2:25 I have this spanner but it is made by crescent tools and you can get a socket adapter for 1/4 " screwdriver bits and 1/4" & 3/8 socket adapter. Did try and upload a Picture( but the app doesn't support it ) and the guy at work gave me the different adapters from another make, oh maybe that was Sata tools

I bought an autoloader from Festool in 2009 and it still works fine. There is a text on the handle "MADE IN CANADA - U.S. AND FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING." I have one for Torx bits and one for Hex bits, very handy. Next time I'd like to go to the Eissenwarenmesser, didn't know it existed ...

    • @ookulelewess
      @ookulelewess 8 месяцев назад

yes, it's been out a while. I've had one like 15 years or so. Everyone loves to "borrow" it and I have to go find it. Bought a second one to hide so I didn't have to waste time finding the first one all the time! hehe... but it is handy, you don't lose the bits, and you can pull them out to swap a different one into the rotation. 8^)

I was selling the Autoloader probably 12 maybe 15 years ago, they were supplied by Festool when I was a Festool reseller here in the UK. A great product, they are so good that my daughter and my wife each have their own one in their tool kits. Remember the ladies in your life need a tool kit!
Trade shows like the one in Germany are hard work, yes they can be enjoyable. The hardest show I ever did, working the booth and also going around the halls was the AAW Show in Atlanta Georgia in 2010, which was a four-day show. With the big shows you need at least two days to go around and then a third day to revisit the important booths if you need to tie down business.
For me, the SATA wrench with socket set made a lot of sense but my daughter would go for the Lego set.😊

Sata tools have been around on Amazon in the US, for a while.
That type of spline looking socket is made by by many brands, now. I haven’t bought into them yet, but the pass through is get more and more desirable to me.
Looking up the Sata crescent wrench. Sometimes it’s nice to travel with only a few tools to get a lot of jobs done.
ToughBuilt looks nice. Another tool manufacturer I’ll look up.
Still up in the air about the stacking boxes. I carry a canvas tool bag. My drill bit box, 2 cordless, 4 batteries, set of box ends, tape measure, level, bit set boxed, and a standard socket set and ratchet. Covers every thing I need.
No one makes a box 5 inches high, it’s all 6+ inches and will not fit under my truck seat. Width and depth on the systems are good, but all are to tall. My canvas bag stuffs under nicely.

Thanks for sharing your experiences at the Fair and bringing us another entertaining and informative video. Looking forward to you visiting the Fair next year on an extended trip to explore the products from the smaller manufactures.
    My favourites from the were:
    - Margin Marker,
    - SKIL Electric Screwdriver (volt sensing great idea),
    - Sata Universal Driver,
    - Autoloader 6-in-1 Multibit Screwdriver - interested in purchasing a couple of these,
    - Magnum Easy Grip Pliers
    - Proclick Pouch - I'll investigate this line to replace my Toughbuilt "Cliptech" belt and pouches as the suspenders supplied will not connect to the belt, even after communicating with the product manager in the USA they were unable to sort out replacements.

Pico do an excellent tape measure with a window on the top and a hole at the hook. You fold out a little pin on the base, put a pencil in the hole, pull the tape until the desired length is displayed in the window, and then you can spin a perfect radius. I use it much more than I thought i would.

Definitely "SATA 11 Piece X6 Pass-Thru", already put that in my amazon cart and waiting for the next salary 😅
As for SATA, that's a child company of Gearwrench. I love using their ratchets and spanners. They have won a few of project farm group tests and they are reasonably well priced to boot.

I love the adjustable wrench with the sockets that fit into the ratchet at the end, what a cracking idea. Just started getting a few Ryobi items inspired by your shadow board, just need a few more bits and then can get a board made up. Thanks for all the content, great channel and look forward to what’s next.
