Ford nailed it with this truck…Ram missed the mark by trying to make a super off-roader out of a vehicle that is impossible to make an amazing off roader due to its massive size…then they undercut the main reason anyone would buy a truck that large in the first place, towing and payload(and didn’t offer it with a Cummins)…it just doesn’t make sense to try to make a Jeep or midsize truck out of an HD size truck…towing in the 18-22k range is perfect for about anyone who isn’t hauling super heavy daily, and the payload around 3k lbs is also more than enough for 99% of users…and the off-road abilities make it versatile as a hunting or outdoorsman’s truck or outdoorsy work truck. Only issue is they cost around 80-90k for even a lower to mid trim version of that truck with a diesel engine

Even the regular F250 is a tight squeeze (7 ft garage door actually has a useful opening around 78" depending on how your door is mounted), and this one has bigger wheels/tires. Also, if that garage is 20 ft long (as most 7 ft garages are), it won't fit lengthwise.
@@jibrilthegreat35 did you see all the components hanging down low with no skid plates? And they call it a offroad truck. @@fireant1272 Ive never had any issues with the transfer cases on my Ford trucks, and the only 4x4 issue ive ever had was on my old 2002 F150, a vacuum solenoid. The cummins was good, although it developed a rear main seal leak at 50K, but it was covered under warranty. The superduties have 200K one and 55k the other. Both are rock solid, the Raptor has 185k miles, rock solid and the old F150 has 170K and it is still very good. All 4x4s and all see lots of off road action, I live in the desert in arizona, thats why. Here people dont care much for dodges because they dont hold up against the extreme heat
That's awesome luck with Ford. My 2014 svt was my last straw with ford after it needed a new transfercase and shortly after a transmission rebuild under 90k miles. Before that I had an f150 EcoBoost with so many issues, timing chain, front end, exhaust manifold turbo leaks under 100k miles. I had an 1994 and 2002 ram 2500 with the cummins no one single issue with those the 94 had 230k and the 2002 had 286k. I now drive a 2010 ram 1500 232k and no issues. Everyone here in hawaii drives rams or toyota those fords fall apart way to fast and those recalls everyday ford has a new one.
Everything a power wagon should be and wishes I was. Including optional diesel. Typical dodge, have the Cummins motor, only good thing about a ram, and didn’t even offer it in the power wagon. Not to mention less payload than a ridgeline, and smaller tires than a Tacoma
Trucks are have turned into toys and everyday commuting vehicles. Who in there right mind is going to take a big $60,000+ truck through the woods chancing destroying it. Its still a beautiful truck but There seems to be alot of people out there who have alot of disposable income to play with.
Seems pretty similar to me. I think you can spec out a 12k Warn winch on the Ford build site, a front limited slip isnt quite a locker but close when combined with the electronic systems and it also has some underbody protection).
There is literally nothing the power wagon can do that the tremor cannot. The only thing the super duty doesn't have is the disconnecting sway bar, but I counter that with taller tires, deeper gears, and the diesel option.
Nice truck, but the Ram HD competes in this segment and does it much better. The reason for the heavy duty tow hooks is so when you bury this truck, a Power Wagon can rescue you. The PW definitely has a much lower towing capacity at 10,000 lbs, but I can attest to the fact that it can haul that 10,000 lbs to locations that the Tremor could never even get to, even unladen. The Tremor is a great truck, just understand it’s limitations.
You're right but not in the way you think, tremor outdoes the power wagon in every aspect. More power, more torque, more ground clearance, better tech, better trim availability, diesel option.
@@AK_Ray Power Wagon is designed for crawling trails. Having an 1,100 lb diesel in the front isn't the best for that. Tremor is the truck to get you to a cabin on washed out tracks. They aren't really competitors. Just like the TRX and Raptor don't compete against PW or Tremor.
The size of that truck is absolutely nuts. In the opening shot, it makes Steve, at 6 ft 2 and 300 lbs look like a Hobbit.
The way they shot that scene contributes a lot to how big it looks.
Also, Steve is actually much smaller in real life than you indicated. I don’t think he is taller than 6’1.5” and probably not more than 299 pounds. 😊
It’s the low angle shot and a wide angle lens’s that contributes to it

I use my truck it takes a beating It's expensive yeah but it's a tool I will use it as such. Some folks buy heavy duty trucks to go to the mall ans car wash which is fine but alot of us use them.
Transmission cooler
But can it do it with a Bigfoot camper in the back?
Ford does NOT offer the Limited with the Tremor package.
Nice right turn
Needs transmission skid plate and front e locker other then that pretty excellent.
What's in the overhead console with the two LEDs facing forward ?
I’ve never seen a front skid plate on a truck with a solid front axle.
How do they think it’s ok to skip having extensive skid plates??
People dont quite get that HD trucks and Jeeps are basically the same, only serious difference being axle size and leaf springs
Just want to ask you a question about the toe weight? Is there any way to upgrade the Towing Four 2023 gmc yukon at 4 xl 6.2 v8
It is a nice truck towing an Airstream Tradewind for some off grid camping set up starlink in the wood. This truck would get you there no problem, high output, and diseal engine. I think the V8 would be tusrty engine
Not a huge fan of the grill (face) on this truck… but overall it’s quite the truck.
I'd like to see you take a rebel 1500 up on a jack and show us.
I have just FX4 Off road F150 and I have front skid plate! It's weird it doesn't have front skid plate. It absolutely should have one.
Your F-150 doesn’t have a solid front axle. I believe that’s why there’s not one on the Tremor
@@robnanneman Agreed, I have only ever seen front skid plates on IFS trucks.
Just picked up my 350 tremor and noticed the passenger wheels are slight farther out than the driver side.
I’ve heard it’s a super duty issue, have you noticed that on any of the ones you’ve seen?
Can you COMPARE the Tremor VS Non-Tremor w/options??? Vs...value/price..etc..???
Man imagine high centering !
great vid
It’s a good looking truck
The tremor is good!
How is the tremor suspension on road? Softer than standard or worse?
The Tremor package adds the F-350 rear end so extra leaf spring. If it’s unloaded, you get the typical rear-end skipping. So no better, no worse.
Drive it hard through those ruts at 15 mph, real life, not 1mph into mud holes, let's see if bottom drags and tears off trans cooler that isn't protected by a plate
I need information on the leather grab handles your dad talked about for a 2023 F350 Tremor- black interior. Can you give me a way to contact you regarding this?
Contact us at hey@truckking.ca
Steve, in the states you can’t get a tremor on every trim.
Definitely got my attention. Hmmm..
What about taking the Tremor through the hydro line?
Nobody shows what happens when you get a tremor stuck
Did you mean mud puddle? Or is that a rock based mud hole?
Is fit on 7 foot garage height? And the regular f250 2023 is it fit on 7 foot garage door?❤
Unfortunately, it does not. I found out myself.
Even the regular F250 is a tight squeeze (7 ft garage door actually has a useful opening around 78" depending on how your door is mounted), and this one has bigger wheels/tires. Also, if that garage is 20 ft long (as most 7 ft garages are), it won't fit lengthwise.
I suspect trans or engine oil cooler.
No skid plate, must be a mall crawler and the tow hooks are to move shopping carts
Do they make this exact truck in a F350 version?
Yes its identical other than badge. And payload sticker.
Love that truck tho
That looks like an oil cooler
That truck will not last long off roading!😂 The powerwagon is a properly built offroad truck.
😂😂😂😂 everyone knows Ford builds a superior chassis, and suspension over Dodge. The only thing good on any dodge is the cummins engine in it. 😂
@@jibrilthegreat35 did you see all the components hanging down low with no skid plates? And they call it a offroad truck. A rocky trail will tear that truck up. 😂 ford builds a suspension that's great for payload and towing but not for comfort and 4x4ing. They have so many issues 😂every ford I've owned had problems with transfer case and 4x4 system.
@@fireant1272 Ive never had any issues with the transfer cases on my Ford trucks, and the only 4x4 issue ive ever had was on my old 2002 F150, a vacuum solenoid. I also have a 2012 Raptor and 2 F550s
Had a Ram 5500 but got rid of it, the truck was falling apart at 60k miles.
Trans oil cooler
Trans cooler is what that was.
Does anyone know where this trail system is?
This is our own test property
@@TruckKing gotcha, thanks
Everything a power wagon should be and wishes I was. Including optional diesel. Typical dodge, have the Cummins motor, only good thing about a ram, and didn’t even offer it in the power wagon. Not to mention less payload than a ridgeline, and smaller tires than a Tacoma
They don't offer tremor in RCLB so not really interested. Need the 8' bed.
Front torsen would be my first install of aftermarket parts.
It is a torsen
That thing in wayyyyyy to wide and long to do most trails.
It's a really nice truck but costs way too much. As all vehicles do in today's world.
Trucks are have turned into toys and everyday commuting vehicles. Who in there right mind is going to take a big $60,000+ truck through the woods chancing destroying it. Its still a beautiful truck but There seems to be alot of people out there who have alot of disposable income to play with.
Love the truck but Tremor package isn't even in the same ballpark as the Power Wagon.(Winch, front locker, sway bar disconnect, under body protection)
Power Wagon is made as a rock crawler. The Tremor is not.
Nice 7.3 gas
Easily stealable cat converters 😅
Ford is really dropping the ball. Chevy and gmc have nailed it with the at4x
You are joking surely...Steve said it made trail look easy. He didn't use the rear diff lock. Did you even watch the video? Typical GM fanboi.
You cannot afford any of them, so your opinion is worthless.
So at4x has solid front axles
I can only say one thing, IFS 😂😂😂😂 GM fail
G80 🥴
Nice truck, but the Ram HD competes in this segment and does it much better. The reason for the heavy duty tow hooks is so when you bury this truck, a Power Wagon can rescue you. The PW definitely has a much lower towing capacity at 10,000 lbs, but I can attest to the fact that it can haul that 10,000 lbs to locations that the Tremor could never even get to, even unladen. The Tremor is a great truck, just understand it’s limitations.
Yeah because the 3% of Americans who can afford the 100k truck are gunna take it straight to the mud.
I think you’re right. You’re a smart cookie
😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫👍🏼
Tremor does not compete with the power wagon. Power Wagon is in a class of it's own. Ram Rebel H.D. is more class correct.
