      It's the vehicle manufacturer that sets the "rules" / guidelines and there told they can't modify the vehicles in any way and I guess changing the tire is considered modifying. I think they should get them a few sets of rims (find a wheel company like fuel or even Mikey Thompson because they have exelent tires with a wide variety from street & drag to AT/MT & non dot offroad tired and a good assortment of wheels) then they could take the wheel and tire off test the truck or what ever with a decent set of tires off road and then reinstall the OE tires when they return the truck. But I'm sure the manufacturer wouldn't like that for some reaso.

    • @nathanwoten6236
      @nathanwoten6236 5 месяцев назад +4

      I think first off they need a ARB portable air compressor (or any portable air compressor ARB single or twin portables are just the best ive used or seen by far) to take with them. Then they can actually air down to 12psi or 15psi or what ever they need to. Especially in this snow and sand it would be night and day diffrence in traction. Then with the compressor they can get back up to highway pressure in a reasonable time and be on there way with no issues.

      One thing I’ve always noticed is that Andre is just not as capable driver as Nathan is😳……….andre tends to not keep and even foot on the throttle and not a constant pace and hammers is when stopped which hampers forward moment over objectives……..Nathan keeps a more consistent momentum pattern! This video shows the need for good tires, tire pressure, and driver mods.
      Most people overlook the fact that offroading is a game of physics, not opinions. If you have a locking diff in a balistically similar setup, the makes your truck more capable. But if you have better tires and tire pressure you're probably going to look better on a slick surface.
      Same reason I Teel tacoma guys they literally cannot hang with jeeps and I am not a jeep guy. It's physics.

    I think off roading when your going through these obstacles number one thing is to have the experience to be confident in what your doing, momentum is everything in the snow and rocks! U don't want to much momentum or to less but u definitely don't wanna stop an go so much u wanna keep a steady amount of momentum so when u hit a rock or something your truck has the proper speed to get over it. But u can really see the difference in confidence between Andre and Nathan Andre was more confident in his ability!
