    The only disappointment, is the fact they did not add the winch to the front . All that extra money, and they did not add it!!!

      Agree. It may sound petty but I cancelled my order because of the omission. In future years maybe some more color options also. But it will be this or a prospector XL build. Until then...keep rocking the 2012 Power Wagon haha

      Yeah that is complete bullshit 😢 how you gonna want over 100k for a vehicle and that is built for off road and not give it a winch without having to go with an extra package

    I have a 12 year old Power Wagon that I've taken through some pretty gnarly terrain. Never have I said I wish I had $9400 bumpers on it when I was in the woods with it, though.

    I just learned that I can rearrange my icons on the screen Thank you for that. I have the regular AT4 and love it but this AEV is even cooler.

    This truck is sweet! I can’t exactly say if I think it is worth the extra money but I know that I pretty much did my own AEV type edition by adding front and rear bumpers, winch tires and wheels etc. and I would have loved to have it come from the factory the way I have it now. If you can afford it get it!

      Yup, that’s probably the best way to go versus paying the premium to the manufacture. Resale value is what I’m mostly interested in seeing 👍🏾

    Sweet ride. Technically overkill for 90% of truck buyers.
    Hey, those power steps……….my driv side power step LED strip light failed on my 24AT4 HD. Parts are back ordered - of course. Thought those LED’s looked a bit gimmicky from the start. Lol

    Nice truck. I wouldn't mess with the bumpers - I'm a payload guy. You have got me thinking about these damn Chevy's though. I love my pickup and honestly, I truly want to get it to patina tbh. But one of these days I'm going to have to get into a 3500 just for payload. Hows the new trailer working out by the way? I was kind of happy to see you go bumper pull. What do you all do in the winter in a cold climate? I always end up buying my RV"s this time of year and have to wait before I can use it. It's relatively warm here in Oklahoma a good part of the winter but guaranteed, if I buy an RV its going to be a an ice storm that week while I'm shaking it down.

      I prefer payload as well but I really like having a 3/4 ton again for some reason despite me saying I would never go back 😂.
      The new trailer is going fine, I’ve pretty much touched every part of it and added some upgrades so I will do a video on that soon. One thing I can say is it does feel more solid compared to other rv’s we walked through 👍🏾

    The Bison package is worth the money if you like the bumper, skids, and wheels. Everthing else is just cheap branding. You may not like the $9k price, but there ain't know way you're getting that much hardware for nothing. Materials, labor, shipping, install, marketing, they ain't making a huge profit.
    On my 2500HD ZR2, I like the wheels and skids are built very well. I like the bumpers visually from 10 feet away and the steel and tow hooks are high quality.
    The problem I have with the bumpers is there's way too much plastic and the fitment/ seams are not great. There's 12 pieces of plastic on front bumper and 10 on the rear. They are gonna look like hell in a couple years.
    The other problem with the front bumper is the fog lights are not great. My 22 1500 ZR2 has better stock fogs.
    The other thing I hate is the cheap ass vinyl Bison stickers on rear quarter panels. Looks chintzy as hell.
    My trailer wire hookup or brake controller is broken right out of the gate. Constant trailer connected/ disconnected message in DIC. GM quality control sucks!

    My 2024 Silverado 3500 LT Duramax Z71 cost 73k. That’s a $31k difference in price. Bumpers, small lift and some tires is not even close to $31k. My truck has the same engine, brakes, transmission, interior, flex tail gate, 360 cameras, etc… For the $31k difference, you could buy a new car!

      Your truck is definitely cheaper but there is a reason for that. You do not have near the options of what this truck offers. Do you even have animated headlights with a LT? Do you have a bose stereo system in the cab at that trim level even? Also, you do not have the same interior. Do you have massaging seats or custom trim level interior? You may have 360 cameras, but this truck I believe comes with more cameras than yours such as a forward-facing camera. You really need to compare your window sticker and realize that the 31k difference is because this truck has way more than your truck offers. Now that said, I think if what you have works for you then kudos, you saved $31k. If someone wants to spend the extra on this truck, then it's worth it. And if they ever re-sell, its going to keep the value with the high trim level.

      @@trevor8310 my truck has a front camera, front and rear tire camera, bed camera, rear camera, and hitch camera. I have the new 24 interior with the 13 inch infotainment center, power rear window, power folding mirrors, center console, spray in bed liner, Z71, multi tailgate, Duramax, etc… You are correct I do not have massaging seats or animated headlights but no way is it a $31k difference. Not even close. And by not having massage seats my payload is 4015lbs. Again, mine is a 3500 which you can’t get in an ATX.

      That’s a manufacture question but if I had to guess, the amount of AT4X HD’s they plan on building compared to the other trims is why they won’t allow certain colors to be available. They probably schedule builds for certain trucks and trims on the same day and they expect not enough orders will be fulfilled in that color. A blue off road truck makes perfect sense to me though 🤷🏾‍♂️

    I don't think GM is lying about the power lever. When they unveiled the updated DMAX the chief engineer was questioned why they didn't add more power. He said they chose usable power that prevents the need for torque management like the others (Ford & Ram) need to employ.

      Good point, I know RAM trucks have tq management unloaded but Ford trucks are hit or miss. Sometimes they are faster but getting the power down is always the issue when you have a lot of it. I think GM just hit the sweet spot 👍🏾

    105k for that truck. You have got to be kidding me. That's almost double what I paid for my 22 Custom 2500 gasser. There is no way on this earth that truck can be even close to being worth all that money. No way! I used to think I made a good wage until I see the prices of these trucks. I have no words aside from just shaking my head. If it doesn't have accu jack and auto suck, nope. My custom does...lol...

    Dude this is OT but you need to review the Tesla Cyber truck. The reviews are all EV enthusiasts trying to interpret a big truck. Positive or negative someone who knows trucks needs to make a review. There's like no understanding of payload VS towing number, what range means with a trailer, a bunch of it's too big etc. Like for God sake some who has ever driven a truck needs to weigh in.

    No, it’s not worth it. None of them are. A depreciating asset is not worth the massive amount of money required to buy it. $105k, and if you finance it, it’s definitely not worth it. If you’re rich, go for it!

    Just took delivery of my AEV two days ago. $105,045. Paid MSRP for it.
    I can tell my truck was built in the middle of the UAW strike. Looks like they forgot where they were in the assembly process. Typical of GM… absolute the worst QC (quality control) process. Paid $105k for a truck that already has a service appointment with less than 100 miles on it. Steering issues, blemished grill, steering wheel far from centered… Dog shit quality.. especially for the price tag. If any one k ow a UAW employee tell them they aren’t worth a Sh!t !
    Yeah.. I’m bitter..

      My AEV was definitely built during the UAW strike; its amazing no doubt but I'm still fighting to figure out the bouncy ride which others say or deny exist. JB did mention something to that effect when he took delivery of his non-AEV AT4X a few weeks ago. GMC deny the issue exists and say bouncy ride is quite normal with these trucks. Ok I drive it empty, I don't haul anything and even though the ride has improved with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires (all 5 tires replaced at my expense), the stomach jarring ride on slightly bouncy roads, still exists. GMC even tried 20" wheels from another truck, the problem is still there. I wish there was another owner close to me I could try out a ride with. Wheel alignment is scheduled for 11th, lets see. I had my mechanic grease all front end zerks yesterday and they were mostly dry. I'm now at just over 1300 miles from new; wife is disgusted with my expensive purchase with almost $135,000 in it so far (10k over msrp, WA tax, Diamondback HD Tonneau cover plus the 5 new tires).
      Let me know if you want to chat and I'll share my #, since we both have issues with our brand new trucks.
